California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) builds political power to solve the climate crisis and advance environmental justice. We work to elect climate champions, pass bold policies, and hold lawmakers accountable to ensure California leads with equity, urgency, and impact. Through advocacy, public education, and coalition building, we push for a just transition to clean energy, protect communities from pollution, and invest in those most affected by climate change. 2025 Programs

In 2025, California Environmental Voters will focus on four core areas. Our global leadership work will position California as the leading U.S. voice on international climate action, building global partnerships, and advancing initiatives like the UN’s 30x30 conservation goals. We will defend landmark climate wins through a litigation strategy in collaboration with state and local legal partners. Our state action efforts will advance bold legislation to hold polluters accountable, expand clean energy, and prioritize equity. Through strategic communications work, we will counter anti-environmental narratives and strengthen public support for climate action.

2024 Programs

California Environmental Voters builds the political power to solve the climate crisis while advancing justice. We prioritize building power in regions on the frontlines of climate impacts, and with the least representation and lowest voter turnout. In 2024, we will do so through direct voter outreach in coordination with campaigns, and complimentary direct mail, texting, paid ads, and earned media programs.

Mission

California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) exists to build the political will and power to solve the climate crisis, use climate action to advance justice, and create a global roadmap of innovative solutions that can be exported globally. Care in Action builds power to defend care workers and women of color. In 2025, we’ll fight to protect Medicaid, defend wage gains for workers, and counter anti-immigrant policies. At state and local levels, we’ll advance Domestic Worker Bill of Rights and HCBS campaigns, and mobilize resources to meet urgent needs. Through digital organizing and rapid response, we’ll expand our movement, mobilizing WOC to win transformative change and build lasting political power in our communities.

Care in Action organizes to ensure that Care is top-of-mind in elections. We mobilize our base of women of color voters through year-round basebuilding, focusing on direct voter contact and community care events. Through endorsements and policy advocacy, we demonstrate the link between electoral victories and impactful policy changes.

Mission

Care in Action (501(c)(4)) is the advocacy home for women who care. We invest in building political power for women of color and domestic workers to ensure they have the economic support they need to thrive. Our successful track record of organizing voters extends over 6 years in crucial battleground states across the Sunbelt region, helping to deliver electoral and policy wins.

Organization Description

With over 155,000 lifetime members across 46 US states, CASA is a national powerhouse organization building power and improving the quality of life in working-class, Black, Latino/a/e, Afro-descendent, Indigenous, and Immigrant communities. CASA creates change with its powerbuilding model blending human services, community organizing, and advocacy in order to serve the full spectrum of the needs, dreams, and aspirations of members.

2025 Programs

We plan to engage in membership protection. We aim to safeguard our members by providing resources such as the 24-hour hotline which will be for members being targeted by ICE, Know Your Rights training to inform our members of their constitutional rights when approached by ICE, and our Narrative Change work where we will highlight and personify immigrant stories to fight the damaging narrative being spread by main-stream media. Additionally, we will run a non-partisan deep canvassing program to have one-on-one conversations with working class immigrants, and properly understand the elections results while educating them on legislative matters.

2024 Programs

CASA’s voter registration is primarily site-based, with our field team of canvassers engaging with the community at public locations amenable to registering our target voters, such as shops, groceries, places of worship, etc. Our canvass team are at least trilingual, comprising a mix of team members who speak English, Spanish, and French.

3. Partisan voter engagement in the same state, especially focused on the Gubernatorial General Election in Virginia.

CASA in Action turns out voters based on democracy-defense organizing, non-partisan voter canvassing, partisan voter canvassing to advocate for our member-endorsed candidates, and community-tailored communications. Our strength lies in community trust, cultural competency, and the leadership provided by our working-class, immigrant membership.

Chispa AZ PAC is running a strategic and robust statewide campaign focused on the Arizona State Legislature, Arizona Corporation Commission, and board of county supervisors, targeting New American and climate voters through investing in a field program (250k doors), a bilingual digital campaign, radio ads, billboards, and earned media.

Mission

Chispa Arizona is organizing within our Latinx communities to grow political power and civic engagement for environmental justice in Arizona, as a program of the League of Conservation Voters. We build the capacity of Latinx families to influence policymakers and pressure polluters to protect communities’ rights to clean air and water, healthy neighborhoods, and a safe climate for generations to come. We are growing the infrastructure and leadership necessary for Latinx families to hold polluters and decision-makers accountable, demanding environmental justice and equity for our communities.

Organization Description

Citizens' Climate Education and Citizens' Climate Lobby work together to advance climate action in the U.S. Congress. We train and empower our grassroots network of 360 active chapters and 62 national action teams to build political will through local organizing, media engagement, and direct lobbying. During election years, we mobilize volunteers to engage candidates on climate change and boost voter turnout.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Citizens' Climate Education is focused on training our grassroots network to defend hard-won climate victories in the U.S. Congress, such as the clean energy tax credits passed in the Inflation Reduction Act. We are also taking advantage of opportunities to make forward progress in the current political climate. These opportunities include climate-smart forestry, clean energy deployment, and building electrification.

Looking ahead, in 2025 and beyond, Common Defense will continue prioritizing ongoing base-building activities, providing members with the training and education necessary to hone their organizing skills, leverage the power of their voice, and participate in our current and future electoral, democracy, immigration and climate campaigns. We are looking forward to scaling up our direct voter contact campaigns in 2026 and reaching even more voters during the midterms.

2024 Programs

Common Defense is uniting veterans across party lines to ensure Vice President Kamala Harris becomes the next President of the United States. This is the only veteran-led effort with a track record of reaching voters through high-impact grassroots organizing, earned media, and visibility actions. In the remaining phase of the election, Common Defense will target voters in five key states which will determine the White House and control of Congress and use our twelve organizing staff and our “Corps” of 670 existing trained in-state super-volunteers to mobilize military veterans to support the Democratic ticket using an array of tactics. We aim to persuade the critical constituency of swing voters especially suburban, patriotic, working class and middle class voters who are a decisive component of reconstructing the anti-MAGA coalition.

FEC worked to ensure robust student voter turnout in the Wisconsin and Pennsylvania state Supreme Court races, Virginia legislative races, and important municipal elections in places like Harris County, TX, and Detroit, MI. We know good policy begins at the ballot box. That’s why we engage under-represented voters who often decide elections. From cost-conscious citizens to disengaged young people, we connect on the issues they care about most — lower costs, affordable energy, healthier food, cleaner air and water, and access to good jobs. We aim to continue running one of the largest voter registration and mobilization programs in the country in the lead up to 2026 midterms, with a focus on high-salience voters under 35 who hold decisive power up and down the ballot.

We believe in patient capital. We don’t believe in operating election cycle to election cycle — we invest in shaping public opinion and political discourse over time. GoodPower transforms voters’ voices into concrete policy wins — breaking down barriers to a better economy, advancing renewable-friendly policies, and demanding accountability. We cultivate dedicated volunteers in communities across the country who gain a deep understanding of how to influence lawmakers, win local fights, and build long-term power. Investments we make now will shape public opinion and behavior for decades if we invest consistently and in evidence-based strategies.

In 2022, CEA engaged 36M+ voters in the top 10 performing organizations nationwide with 57% turnout. In 2024, we will educate and engage 50M voters via field canvass and layered digital.

Lawyers for Good Government (L4GG) mobilizes lawyers to ensure that all levels of government - federal, state, and local - promote equal justice under the law and uphold civil and human rights, including the right to health and the right to live in a healthy environment. Under the Climate Change and Environmental Justice (CCEJ) program, L4GG's expert staff attorneys direct nationwide pro bono programs that ensure an equitable, just transition to a green economy. These programs aim to advance environmental justice and expedite the shift to clean energy at the state and local level, help disadvantaged communities obtain and safeguard federal funding for climate resilience and clean energy projects, and secure access to clean, affordable drinking water.

Organization Description

The Local Progress Impact Lab (the Impact Lab) brings together local leaders, partners, and experts to build the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to advance racial, economic, and gender justice at the local and state level. Our membership is made up of more than 1,500 local elected officials who together form the Local Progress network. The Impact Lab provides leadership development and governance training programming and policy, communications, and organizing support to our members and supports them in utilizing a model of collaborative governance that brings historically marginalized and oppressed communities to the center of policymaking.

2025 Programs

Our work is member-driven, and as such, our issue focus areas can shift to respond to dynamic environments that create windows of opportunity for elected officials to drive an equitable agenda forward. In 2025, we will focus on climate change and climate justice, housing, economic justice, public safety, public education, and immigrant rights. Programming includes policy primers, issue deep-dives, webinars to launch and distribute resources the Impact Lab creates in collaboration with our partners, such as reports, policy memos, messaging toolkits, and case studies. We will also hold regionally-tailored leadership and governance trainings for local and state elected officials.

2025 Programs

MOVE Texas plans to amplify its impact in 2025 through organizing, member-led advocacy, and leadership development, empowering young Texans to engage in the political process. With the 89th Texas Legislative session underway, we are rolling out key initiatives including our "Get Sh*t Done" Agenda, Youth Capitol Takeover, and Anti-Lege Lege Club to mobilize young people to take bold action against restrictive policies on climate, reproductive rights, and democracy.

2024 Programs

We will operate 25 campus chapters focused on civic engagement and issue advocacy, register 7,000 new voters, roll out an endorsement process, expand access to voting (campus polling locations, countywide polling), launch voting rights, climate, and gender justice issue campaigns to engage young issues-first voters, and conduct leadership development programs to grow youth-led power building capacity. Up until the election, we will follow up with registered voters to ensure that they are informed and prepared to vote.

MOVE Texas is a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to building the power of young people in underrepresented communities through civic engagement, leadership development, and issue advocacy. National Domestic Workers Alliance Inc. (c3)

2025 Programs

NDWA is dedicated to advancing domestic and care workers' rights nationwide. In 2025, we’ll prioritize Medicaid funding, defend gained worker wages, and counter anti-immigration policies. At state and local levels, we’ll advance the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights, data collection for HCBS policy advocacy, and initiatives to deliver the most impactful resources in this shifting political landscape. Additionally, NDWA will bolster worker protections, expand digital organizing, and enhance our rapid response networks.

Our civic engagement program is focused on educating voters about care and turning out women of color voters in Sunbelt states, where care and domestic workers have traditionally been left behind, and which is often home to areas with the worst care crisis in the nation.

Mission

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) works for respect, recognition, and rights for the more than 2.2 million nannies, house cleaners, and home care workers who do the essential work of caring for our loved ones and our homes. Driven by domestic workers’ priorities, NDWA is working to catalyze a paradigm shift in the way domestic work is understood, valued, and compensated to ensure that these much-needed jobs are good jobs with dignity, economic security, and labor protections. NDWA is a non-partisan charitable organization and does not endorse, support, or oppose any candidate for public office.

With newly elected Gov. Josh Stein and a one vote veto-sustaining margin in the House, we will be working to support Governor's Stein's pro-climate, pro-environment efforts, and defend against legislative attacks on our environment, our democracy, and our communities. We will also engage strategically on IRA defense and implementation, the Carbon Planning process, and continue our efforts to hold Duke Energy and the NC Utilities Commission accountable for meeting our clean energy goals.

2024 Programs

Working to elect climate champion Josh Stein over climate denier Mark Robinson. We will run a canvass with a relational text overlay in vote-dense Mecklenburg County targeting persuadable swing voters. We will also work to gain a veto-proof minority in the state House by winning four of ten competitive House seats with paid media/mail.

NCLCVF believes that voting is the most important thing you can do for the environment, and has registered 120,000 voters since 2014. The New Virginia Majority Education Fund works to create a powerful multi-issue, multi-racial movement to transform Virginia through large scale civic engagement, issue advocacy, and community organizing. We advance our vision for Virginia rooted in justice, democracy, and progress that will uplift and empower working class communities of color.

2025 Programs

Our multi-year voter engagement program continues, with a goal of expanding the electorate to better reflect Virginia’s rich diversity. An outreach plan with a goal of increased turnout among working class people of color will require robust direct voter contact through canvassing, phone, mail and social media strategies. Based on previous successes, such a program will include a multi-touch door-to-door program layered with phone calls and mail, and a robust social media and digital organizing strategy.

The OEC advocates for a healthier environment for all who call Ohio home. In the wake of SB 1070, four immigrant rights organizations came together with the goal of registering 12,000 Latino voters. Shortly afterwards, One Arizona was born. Poder Latinx targets 57,000 new and low-propensity Latinx voters through a canvassing program including door knocks, calls, and texts. Our leadership development program focuses on cultivating 25 new Latina leaders and our community organizing aims to expand our base by 5,200 members.

Power to the polls knocked on over 675,000 doors, engaging in nearly 94,000 conversations with voters. We deployed over 300 community organizers, and our digital, radio, and streaming advertisements were seen over 59,000,000 times. Thanks in part to these efforts, turnout in Milwaukee actually increased in 2024 vs 2020, and Milwaukee was the number one city in the United States for voter turnout percentage.

To help accelerate progress by 2030, Project Innerspace will deploy a disruptive roster of innovative geothermal start-ups and thought leaders to promote the need for project financing, leveraging our Geomap to identify high-impact pilot locations and working with local partners to investigate and overcome policy barriers to development opportunities. Key to our approach is engagement with the oil and gas industry which holds the technologies and workforce necessary to scale geothermal energy. Through these efforts, we aim to socialize geothermal and reduce risks associated with new geothermal concepts sufficiently to catalyze significant investment to realize carbon reductions at scale.

2025 Programs

Next generation geothermal is a zero-carbon source of electricity and heat/cooling that is at a critical inflection point to unlock massive decarbonization benefits in the US worldwide. According to a December 2024 IEA report, new geothermal technologies have the potential to meet all electricity and heat demand in Africa, China, Europe, Southeast Asia and the United States combined. Despite this, Geothermal has been absent from major conversations about decarbonization in the US. Project Innerspace is facilitating the rapid transfer of resources, technologies, and know-how from the oil and gas industry toward geothermal energy production through innovations like GeoMap.

As the legislature works to extend the program through 2045, environmental justice advocates are mobilizing to ensure that equity, not industry influence, shapes California’s clean energy future. Our narrative change and storytelling program creates, measures, and disseminates compelling content and messages about the power and promise of state policy. Our State Bridges program will raise funds for 501(C)(3) organizations running year round nonpartisan organizing programs in their local communities.

Within this approach, the Global Enteric Methane Impact Alliance (GEMIA) represents Spark’s commitment to fostering trusted, industry-wide collaboration on enteric methane mitigation. Together, we drive systems-level change that advances meaningful, measurable climate impact.

2025 Programs

Throughout 2025, Spark Climate Solutions advanced four major areas where better science and coordination can unlock rapid climate impact. Our Enteric Methane work focuses on scaling credible livestock mitigation through scientific roadmaps, market and policy alignment, and the Global Enteric Methane Impact Alliance (GEMIA) is the industry hub for coordinated action. Our Atmospheric Methane Removal program is developing the evidence, governance frameworks, and research community needed to assess and advance safe, system-level methane removal approaches. In Agricultural Nitrogen, we are mapping high-potential interventions and identifying catalytic pathways for field building. For Warming-Induced Emissions, we are strengthening science, monitoring, and policy readiness to address emerging risks.

Organization Description

TOP, founded in 2009, organizes Black and Latino communities in Dallas, Harris and Bexar counties with the goal of transforming Texas into a state where working people of color have the power and representation they deserve. Texas Organizing Project Education Fund (c3)

Organization Description

TOPEF is an explicitly pro-Black organization with the mission of improving the lives of working class Black and Latino Texans building power through community organizing and civic engagement in the three largest metro areas (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio). Leadership development is the cornerstone of TOPEF’s organizing model. We develop networks of community leaders and organized residents, equipping them to address the issues they identify, increasing their power in decision making and the electoral process. Our current issue campaigns, determined by our community members, include access to healthcare, economic justice, affordable and quality housing, criminal legal reform, and immigrants’ rights.

2026 Programs

In 2026, we will shift our organizing model to focus on two campaigns, access to affordable healthcare and legal reform (both criminal and immigration systems). This shift is pivotal in our organization reacting to the times we are in and our reflection on what is needed to shift Texas into a state that works for everyone - not just a select few in the changing landscape. We will continue to conduct leadership development and building our base of Black and Latino Texans interested in creating aTexas that works for all, no matter our race, income, or language we speak.

2025 Programs

In 2025, we continue organizing working class Black and Latino communities in our core counties within our current priority issue campaigns. We are also conducting outreach within our communities to identify a new single issue campaign with enough momentum to galvanize our communities and shift the power dynamics in Texas away from the monied interests and back into the hands of the people. We are conducting this in-depth leadership development on topics including organizing best practices, political education, data and research analysis, racial capitalism (what it means, what it looks like in today’s economy, how to counteract it), and others.

Texas Organizing Project Political Action Committee (PAC)

Organization Description

TOP PAC runs one of the largest (independent) grassroots field operations in the state focusing on candidates and issues based on TOP’s endorsement processes of our grassroot leaders. We build relationships with Texas’ most disenfranchised voters year-round and don’t sit out any election – we talk to voters in municipal, special elections, state and presidential election cycles.We run multi-layered campaigns rooted in the belief that when we engage unlikely voters in conversations about issues that matter most to them and the impact their vote can have on those issues, we can turn them into frequent voters.

2026 Programs

TOP PAC will run a multi-layered Get-Out-The-Vote program supporting TOP’s membership endorsed candidates. Our programs will target unlikely Black and Latino voters in our priority counties, Dallas, Tarrant, Harris, Fort Bend, amongst others. We will likely engage in the County Judge races, District Attorney races and experiment with some engagement in South Texas. We are currently mapping out our plan for 2026.

2025 Programs

We are preparing for the midterm elections and plan to engage in local, state and potentially federal races. Due to the unprecedented redistricting in Texas, we expect to have competitive primaries at the state level, in newly formed congressional districts, as well as for Bexar County DA and County Judge (executive at large position) in Harris County, the largest, most populous county in Texas. Our GOTV program will likely target unlikely, infrequent, newer voters, and newly registered voters. Many of these voters are people that we have built relationships with over time through our year-round organizing and across election cycles.

Down Home will engage the multiracial working class over an18-county area larger than the state of New Jersey via an integrated voter contact program including more than 500,000 door attempts. Our program is best-in-class and covers the lowest density, highest opportunity rural turf home to 20% of the state’s population.

Down Home North Carolina (DHNC) is a project to build a multiracial statewide organization of rural and small town communities that advocate for economic, gender, and racial justice. Western Resource Advocates (c3)

Organization Description

WRA fights climate change and its impacts to sustain the environment, economy, and people of the West. We're tackling the largest sources of carbon pollution, improving air quality for nature and people, safeguarding and restoring our rivers and water supply, and protecting and connecting our region’s unparalleled landscapes. WRA is unique among environmental organizations. We leverage our legal, policy, communications, and government affairs expertise developed over three decades to lead state action --where the most important decisions and climate progress is made. We've achieved measurable results in reducing emissions and protecting rivers and lands in the face of climate change.

2025 Programs

WRA completed its recent three-year strategic plan in 2025, and final outcomes are under evaluation. Some of our core 2025 plans included:
1) Advancing clean energy and reducing climate pollution by accelerating power sector emission reductions, electrifying the building and transportation sectors, and developing the framework for organized and expanded regional electricity markets across the West.
2) Improving management and protection of the Colorado River and its tributaries and accelerating municipal efficiency.
3) Modernizing state wildlife agency effectiveness and securing conservation financing for land conservation, prescribed fire resiliency, and regional outdoor equity funding.

We use a wide variety of tools and competencies to reach and engage working class people of all races, including texting, phonebanking, door-to-door canvassing, digital ads, mass mail, physical postcards, radio ads, cultural organizing, and strategic partnerships across the state of Georgia.

With every investment, we seek not only to advance our candidates and policies in the near term, but to build toward governing power for the long term.
