Neighbor Voices (PAC)

Organization Description

Neighbor Voices PAC, Empower Project's affiliated political action committee, unlocks the power of personal connections to break down barriers, empower communities and enact change. We have built the largest friend-to-friend social influencing program in the country. In 2024, we facilitated 80 million social media impressions and 9 million 1:1 conversations with 3 million potential voters across 10 states. And this year, we’re aiming to take our program to 23 states in the fight to protect democracy. In an impersonal world dominated by algorithms, we can break through the noise using the power of personal conversations and connections.

2026 Programs

In 2026, Neighbor Voices PAC will recruit and manage trusted messengers, coordinate with partner organizations, organize trainings, and direct strategy around relational organizing across 23 states. Our program works because people value what their friends and family think. Our relational outreach strategies are centered on people and their trusted networks of relationships. We can also turn your social media channels into a storytelling machine - helping you create compelling content that will break through information silos and online clutter.

2025 Programs

In 2025, our programs in Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania generated 2.16 million one-on-one friend-to-friend conversations with 770,000 potential voters. Our Community Mobilizers shared prepared content and social media videos online that garnered 21.9 million impressions. These 'real people' social media videos were so compelling that the Spanberger for Governor campaign used four of our people in their paid media ads. We received an Expy Award from the Analyst Institute for our work testing Selfie-Style Direct-to-Camera (DTC) videos vs Official Campaign ads in Virginia in 2025.

United for Respect (c4)

Organization Description

United for Respect (UFR) is a national grassroots organization building a movement led by low-wage workers, especially women and Black, Indigenous, and other people of color. These workers, earning under $18/hour, make up over 31 million people across the U.S. UFR organizes this multiracial workforce to improve wages, benefits, and working conditions while strengthening democratic participation. By engaging workers often overlooked by traditional outreach – many of whom face barriers to voting – UFR connects workplace organizing with civic action, empowering people to advocate for economic security, healthcare access, and a stronger voice in their workplaces and communities.

2026 Programs

UFR’s theory of change centers workplace organizing as a pathway to sustained civic leadership. Workers who organize on the job become trusted messengers, shaping narratives about economic justice and corporate accountability while influencing their communities and elections. In 2026, UFR’s civic strategy combines bold, worker-centered messaging; peer storytelling; digital-first outreach; and volunteer engagement, with a focus on key down-ballot races. UFR will activate its network of over 373,000 workers and supporters, run state-based programs in GA, MI, CA, TX and NC reaching 1.65 million target voters, and share tools and insights with partners to expand impact and turnout.

2025 Programs

UFR advanced worker power through organizing, policy advocacy, and leadership development. We expanded OSHA accountability efforts by documenting Amazon warehouse conditions and elevating worker voices. We mobilized thousands of workers to respond to threats to SNAP and Medicaid and built bipartisan coalitions in Michigan to challenge corporate tax loopholes. In Georgia, we drove safety improvements and advanced worker protection legislation, while in California we helped preserve $30M in state worker outreach funding. We grew our network to 373,368, and delivered 27,532 messages to decision-makers. We also launched an AI and workplace tech survey for low-wage workers.

2024 Programs

UFR's civic engagement program integrates online/offline organizing to boost voter turnout from a low-wage, majority women and BIPOC voting bloc of 2 million people across urban, rural, and suburban geographies. We move our base through deep relationship building into action, and leverage persuasion messaging to turn out low-propensity voters.

Michigan League of Conservation Voters (c4)

Organization Description

Michigan League of Conservation Voters (Michigan LCV) is the state’s leading political voice for protecting Michigan’s environment and public health. We work to elect pro-environment candidates, hold policymakers accountable, and pass equitable climate and environmental policies. Through advocacy, organizing, communications, and coalition leadership, we fight for clean air and water, climate action, environmental justice, and a strong democracy. Michigan LCV operates across c3, c4, and PAC entities to build political power for climate action in the Great Lakes State.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Michigan LCV led state-wide advocacy to lower energy costs and hold utilities accountable amid repeated rate hikes. We successfully introduced our “No Utility Money Challenge,” a signed pledge for Michigan lawmakers and candidates to commit to not taking political donations from corporate utility companies – and successfully secured more than 50 signatures since April 2025. We also advanced legislation for a multi-year rate hike moratorium and to establish a Michigan Ratepayer Bill of Rights to ensure a fair, affordable energy system for all. Our team worked to defend Michigan’s clean energy standards and access to community solar.

2024 Programs

MLCV is scaling current canvassing efforts to train youth organizers through their intensive “Our Water Activist” program and by coordinating with Student Organizations on targeted campuses, empowering youth leaders with the skills, resources and training they need to organize and mobilize their peers to vote for pro-climate/democracy champions.

Organization Description

Free Press Action was created to give people a voice in the crucial decisions that shape our media. We believe that positive social change, racial justice and meaningful engagement in public life require equitable access to technology, diverse and independent ownership of media platforms, and journalism that holds leaders accountable and tells people what’s actually happening in their communities. We seek to change the media to transform democracy to realize a just society.

2026 Programs

Free Press Action closely watches as the decisions shaping the media landscape are made and sounds the alarm when people’s rights to connect and communicate are in danger. In 2026, Free Press Action will focus on the following: 1) Protect free speech and free expression in the face of authoritarianism. 2) Lead the creation of a new public media system that expands independent local news and serves people across class, cultures and languages. 3) Challenge the powerful tech, broadband and AI companies by creating public policy to protect people's access, privacy and public safety.

In 2025, Free Press Action Fund focused on saving Net Neutrality, achieving affordable internet access for all, uplifting the voices of people of color in the media, challenging old and new media gatekeepers to serve the public interest, ending unwarranted surveillance, defending press freedom and reimagining local journalism. Berrien Forward is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization committed to civic engagement, electoral education, and ensuring our social safety fabric weaves together all of our collective stories and strengths to make a more united community. Berrien Forward does door-to-door canvassing, television advertisement, creation and distribution of mail programs, electoral engagement, and contracted canvassing for non-profits, organizations, and initiatives to spread their message across Southwest Michigan.

2026 Programs

Berrien Forward and it's chapter organizations in Allegan County, Van Buren County, Kalamazoo County, and Ottawa County strive to engage, educate, and empower residents on their civic power across the region. Our plan is to stand up chapter organizations across each of those counties, with programming that includes: canvassing, phone-banking, postcard writing, digital advertisements, and community events, with a focus on local, state, and national elections. Our key electoral targets are local city council and commissions, state legislative races, Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General, with the added goal of flipping MI-04, a critical seat in Congress.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Berrien Forward held candidate forums, community events, organized and won two city council elections in Benton Harbor and Saint Joseph, Michigan, taking a once conservative community in Saint Joseph and over the tenure of the organization flipping the commission to a 4-1 progressive majority and electing the first openly gay Mayor of Saint Joseph. We expanded into Van Buren County, investing in the South Haven mayoral race, and expanded our operations to include all of MI-04 congressional district in anticipation of our investments in 2026. Organization Description

Wild Montana Action Fund builds the political power necessary for protecting and conserving public lands and wild places across the state by elevating the voices of Montanans who cherish our outdoor way of life. We organize and mobilize our fellow Montanans and supporters of public lands to: 1. Advance legislation that safeguards our public lands; 2. Protect access to the public lands we cherish; 3. Find solutions for funding our public lands; 4. Hold elected officials accountable when they don’t stand up for public lands; 5. Ensure that public lands supporters are informed and get to the ballot box.

2026 Programs

Core 2026 focus areas: 1. Candidate recruitment; 2. Vote pledge and get out the vote engaging thousands of young and inconsistent voters; 3. Support the non-partisan courts ballot initiative in qualifying for the ballot and passage; 4. Member education on state legislative and supreme court candidates, including creating a voter guide.

2025 Programs

Through Wild Montana Action Fund, our 501(c)(4), we will ensure that public land voters turn out in large numbers to elect public land champions up and down the ticket, from state legislators to Supreme Court to the Senate.

2024 Programs

We will engage public land supporters from across the political spectrum by talking to them on the doors, at events, through pledge postcards and mailers, and via text and email to ensure that they vote and that they know which candidates share their public land values.

Citizens' Climate Education (c3)

Organization Description

Citizens’ Climate Education (CCE) empowers people across the United States to build political will for effective climate solutions in Congress. Through grassroots organizing, leadership development, and evidence-based training, CCE equips volunteers with the skills and knowledge to engage policymakers constructively. Its nationwide network supports citizen advocacy through meetings with members of Congress, local media outreach, community engagement, and strategic campaigns aligned with key policy moments. By enabling everyday people to engage their elected officials effectively, CCE helps strengthen long-term support for climate solutions.

2026 Programs

CCE will focus on strengthening the effectiveness of citizen engagement with Congress on climate policy. Core programs include expanding the BRIDGE (Building Relationships in Dialogue, Growth, and Engagement) relational advocacy training program, providing policy education on key federal climate issues, and investing in volunteer leaders who coordinate advocacy across the country. CCE will continue mobilizing constituents to meet with members of Congress, engage in local media, and participate in targeted advocacy campaigns aligned with key legislative moments. By strengthening volunteer training, policy fluency, and strategic coordination, CCE equips citizens nationwide to engage policymakers and advance climate solutions.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Citizens’ Climate Education mobilized citizens nationwide to engage Congress on climate policy. More than 17,000 volunteers took 143,000 advocacy actions, including 824 meetings with congressional offices and 430 earned media placements. CCE delivered 315 trainings, reaching 13,000 live participants and 465,900 recorded views, and developed BRIDGE (Building Relationships in Dialogue, Growth, and Engagement), a relational advocacy training program to strengthen communication across political differences. Volunteers also used district-level clean energy investment data to highlight local economic benefits of federal climate policy. These efforts strengthened citizen engagement and helped defend key clean energy provisions during major federal policy debates.

The 2025 momentum brought a wave of young voters to the polls. Vote.org helped over 210,000 people register to vote in 2025 and an astonishing 88% were under the age of 35. We sent out over 12 million election alerts. Worked with partners throughout the country to reach local markets.

Allies for Democracy (Group)

Organization Description

Allies for Democracy is a group of grassroots activists based in Baltimore County, Maryland. Through strategic actions we champion freedom, diversity, and justice for all. From our local communities to the state and the region we work to stiffen the spines of our representatives in Washington, DC to stand up for progressive American values and refuse to obey the MAGA agenda in advance, but instead work to expand our coalition, and prepare to win elections in 2026 and 2028. Every one of our actions is shaped by our core principles: collaboration, non-violence, and the sense of joy and community.

2026 Programs

Activities planned include: Underground Supper Clubs, creative dissent actions (Melt ICE hat knit-ins, flash mobs, & dance parties). Also continue to distribute Know your Rights information, and immigrant protection actions. Canvassing continues to be a core Allies activity, and we plan to start canvassing in South-Central Pennsylvania in the Fall, in preparation for the 2026 mid-term elections.

2025 Programs

In 2025, we held three Underground Supper Clubs, monthly joyful dissent dance parties, two flash mobs, supported multiple groups by sharing our Mobilize page, support for immigrant protection legislation, Know your Rights information distribution, and more. Our "NO REGRETS 2024" campaign is a plan to wake up happy on November 6! Through weekly canvasses to swing districts we talk directly to the swing voters who will decide the general election. Core programming includes large scale phonebanks, targeted mail outreach, and educational briefings that help residents understand public policies affecting elections, infrastructure, energy investments, and community resources. In 2026, CFCG will also expand rural climate and energy education focused on federal clean energy investments such as New ERA and PACE, helping cooperative member owners and local leaders understand implementation, infrastructure impacts, and opportunities for community engagement in energy transition decisions.

Center for Common Ground works to educate and empower voters of color in voter suppression states. We work in voter suppression states where more than 20% of voters are voters of color – Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. Our work includes community surveys to help communities find their voice, community canvassing, candidate forums, making phone calls and teaching advocacy. Save Our Schools Arizona Network (c3)

Organization Description

Save Our Schools Arizona Network works to build the organizing capacity and electoral power of Arizona communities that are most often ignored by and underrepresented in existing state and local power structures. We organize year-round around the issue of public education because the whole community is often invested in and responsible for the success of their local schools. This is particularly true in low-income and underrepresented rural, Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities, where chronically underfunded public schools remain the only education option.

2026 Programs

In 2026, we are strengthening community public schools by hosting town halls, listening sessions, and grassroots events to build civic engagement and rein in Arizona’s unaccountable ESA voucher program. We are training volunteers to defend immigrant families, oppose anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-equity policies, and combat school privatization. Through nonpartisan candidate forums and surveys, we will help voters evaluate candidates’ positions on public education. Finally, through our School Board Alliance and Fellowship pipeline, we are mentoring and supporting values-aligned school board members, providing training and resources to build lasting, community-centered leadership that serves students, educators, and families statewide.

2025 Programs

SOSAZN expanded our statewide organizing infrastructure, particularly in Southern and rural Arizona, adding 4,300+ volunteers and significantly increasing digital and email engagement. We mobilized parents, educators, and students through town halls, school board advocacy, and 57 Education Roadshow presentations to counter disinformation and advance pro-public education policies. We built Community Action Teams across Northern Arizona and in Yuma, Pinal, Cochise, and Santa Cruz counties, led voter registration and GOTV efforts, and strengthened youth leadership pipelines. We also helped defeat harmful legislation, blocked efforts to permanently expand vouchers, and launched a School Board Fellowship supporting 17 newly elected members statewide.

2024 Programs

Save Our Schools AZ engages voters most disadvantaged by cuts to state education funding, including low-income and underrepresented rural, Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities. Our 18,000+ statewide volunteer network employs phone/text banking, roadshows, community tabling, digital ads, and relational organizing.

The Arizona Students' Association (c4)

Organization Description

The student-led Arizona Students’ Association works to actively empower the student voice, create concrete change, and advocate for student issues by developing student leaders; initiating and executing grassroots campaigns; raising awareness; creating a firm foundation on our stances through proper research; and engaging our government officials at a local, state, and national level.

2026 Programs

The youth and student populations are a growing voting bloc, yet still underrepresented. Young people (18–30) make up a large share of eligible voters, but historically vote less often than older age groups, which means elected officials don’t always listen to your priorities. Students face specific barriers like moving frequently, confusing registration rules, and a lack of targeted outreach — things GOTV efforts are designed to overcome. ASA plans to organize students 18-35 years old by providing them a fellowship program where they get college credit and get paid to participate in the local & federal elections.

2025 Programs

In 2025, ASA registered 5,000 students to vote across the state. Held town halls and listening sessions on issues impacting students, and a major topic of discussion was public transportation for our rural colleges, Northern Arizona University, and Arizona Western College. ASA did federal accountability work around HR1 (The Big Ugly Bill) to fight for no cuts to Pell Grant funding in CD7, CD2, CD6, and CD4. ASA also had a major win in historic funding from the Arizona state budget to Arizona Universities.

2024 Programs

ASA plans to hire and train 120 fellows for GOTV and hopes to knock on over 100,000 doors, run digital ads, text, and class wrap to turn out 18-30 year olds across the state to help our issues of focus candidates get elected and create the concrete change we hope to see in Arizona.

We're fighting against Trump's anti public health nominees to run key health departments, for protecting our health care including defending against cuts to the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and Medicare including privatization, pushing for more affordable prescription drugs nationally and in the states, fighting against predatory medical debt, for lowering the costs of care including fighting mergers, hospital consolidation, private equity takeovers, outrageous facility fees for patients, for reining in insurance company abuses, and fighting for Medicaid expansion and public options to private insurance.

We're distributing health care and general progressive digital content now to educate and motivate health care voters through our own social media and a network of state-focused Facebook pages. Targeting health care voters in key Presidential battlegrounds, educating and activating on abortion and repro issues including IVF and contraception, access to health care, affordable prescription drugs. Reaching through our email list and organic and paid social media, nationally and in key states.

Organizing Empower Project (c4)

Organization Description

Empower Project unlocks the power of personal connections to break down barriers, empower communities and enact change. We have built the largest friend-to-friend social influencing program in the country. In 2024, we facilitated 80 million social media impressions and 9 million 1:1 conversations with 3 million potential voters across 10 states. And this year, we’re aiming to take our program to 22 states in the fight to protect democracy. In an impersonal world dominated by algorithms, we can break through the noise using the power of personal conversations and connections.

2026 Programs

In 2026, Empower Project will recruit and manage trusted messengers, coordinate with partner organizations, organize trainings, and direct strategy around relational organizing across 22 states. Empower Project works because people value what their friends and family think. Our relational outreach strategies are centered on people and their trusted networks of relationships. Empower Project can also turn your social media channels into a storytelling machine - helping you create compelling content that will break through information silos and online clutter.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Empower Project’s programs in Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania generated 2.16 million one-on-one friend to friend conversations with 770,000 potential voters. Empower Project’s Community Mobilizers shared prepared content and social media videos online that garnered 21.9 million impressions. These 'real people' social media videos were so compelling that the Spanberger for Governor campaign used four of Empower Project’s people in their paid media ads. Empower Project received an Expy Award from the Analyst Institute for our work testing Selfie-Style Direct-to-Camera (DTC) videos vs Official Campaign ads in Virginia in 2025.

2024 Programs

Organizing Empower Project has launched a multi-state paid relational program to build the largest incentivized relational organizing program in history in 10 high-profile states to reach voters not typically reachable by other means and leverage the power of relational organizing to maximize impact.

Empower Project is a communications, organizing, and technology non-profit that is a leader in relational organizing - leveraging the power of trusted messengers by having community members build lists of friends and family to communicate and influence behavior, promote informed decision-making, and increase meaningful civic engagement. We recruit and manage the trusted messengers, build the technology, coordinate with partner organizations, organize trainings, and direct the strategy that allows this sophisticated approach to communications to happen.

New York Civic Engagement Table (c3)

Organization Description

The New York Civic Engagement Table (NYCET) is committed to supporting the organizing efforts of more than 70 motivated partner organizations in order to bring our state closer to realizing a vibrant, multiracial democracy. In the last 15 years, NYCET and its partners have built a base of 2.3 million people by integrating civic engagement into year-round issue campaigns and direct service provisioning. As a Table, we support the organizing efforts of our partners to build movements that center communities of color, immigrants, poor, and working people. NYCET is a member of the State Voices Affiliated Network.

2026 Programs

At a time of rising authoritarianism, ensuring every New Yorker can participate in our elections is more critical than ever. The stakes are enormous: In 2026, we’ll choose not only our next governor but also a large and highly influential congressional delegation that shapes federal policy. NYCET is fundraising to support a statewide nonpartisan voter engagement program in 2026 focused on mobilizing low propensity voters, with emphasis on reaching BIPOC, youth, and low-income voters in the Hudson Valley and Long Island.

2025 Programs

NYCET partners made more than 1.2 million attempts across New York in advance of the 2025 General Election, 90% of them to low-to-mid propensity voters. Our partners were able to successfully reach voters because they're trusted messengers in their communities. In door-to-door conversations, the average contact rate was 28% – significantly higher than the average 10-15%. And when they contacted voters, they were able to move voters to action and collect commitments to vote. About 70% of voters NYCET partners spoke to committed to voting.

2024 Programs

Since the summer of 2023, NYCET has been coordinating nonpartisan field programs across the state focused on reaching BIPOC, youth, and low-mid propensity voters in advance of the 2024 General Election. Through this effort, partners have made more than 151,600 attempts including knocking on 31,155 doors.

The New York Civic Engagement Table (NYCET) builds power with communities of color, immigrants, poor, and working people to tackle racial and economic inequality in New York. Collaborating with a diverse group of social justice and service-based organizations, we produce lifelong voters, develop leaders, and win concrete changes in people’s lives. NYCET fosters a culture of innovation and creativity by piloting and implementing tools, tactics, and organizing strategies. Through our seamless and continuous coordination of electoral, base-building, issue advocacy, and mass engagement strategies, we work to create a better democracy.

2026 Programs

In 2026, we will continue to grow our base, working to enhance our membership experience and build lasting connections with our members and volunteers. We will expand our advocacy and accountability work protecting those most harmed, and fighting for affordability, public education, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights, and economic prosperity, including increasing PA’s minimum wage. We will expand trainings and educational programs and endorse in key statewide races and congressional races.

2025 Programs

Action Together NEPA greatly expanded in 2025, doubling our membership and growing our regional capacity to include 19 counties in northeastern Pennsylvania.

2024 Programs

Action Together NEPA engages voters in an accountability campaign, focusing on outreach and early voter education. This campaign focuses on office holders for President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives. ATNEPA works to educate voters and raise awareness around issues and how the Pennsylvania legislature impacts their priorities.

Georgia Advancing Communities Together, Inc. is a statewide organization dedicated to strengthening communities by advancing housing stability, equity, and opportunity across Georgia. Georgia ACT brings together local leaders, nonprofit organizations, policymakers, and residents to develop practical, community-centered solutions to housing and community development challenges. Grounded in lived experience and informed by data, Georgia ACT works to align policy, resources, and leadership to expand access to safe, affordable housing and to build vibrant, resilient neighborhoods where all Georgians can thrive.

2026 Programs

Georgia ACT’s 2026 programming focuses on advancing statewide housing policy, strengthening local capacity, and developing the next generation of housing leaders while promoting informed civic participation. Core activities include housing policy advocacy and convenings aligned with Georgia ACT’s state priorities; the Thriving Together Initiative, providing technical assistance to nonprofits and local governments to expand affordable housing; leadership development through fellowships for young adults and individuals with lived experience; nonpartisan voter education and engagement activities that connect housing issues to civic participation; and community-based partnerships that support housing stability and homelessness prevention across urban, rural, and small-town Georgia.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Georgia ACT advanced housing stability across Georgia through statewide policy leadership, local capacity building, and community engagement. Georgia ACT convened housing and community development leaders, supported local governments and nonprofit developers in aligning and leveraging housing investments, and expanded the Thriving Together Initiative to address affordable housing, homelessness, and workforce housing needs in urban and rural communities. Georgia ACT also strengthened leadership development through fellowships for young adults and individuals with lived experience. In addition, Georgia ACT conducted nonpartisan voter education and engagement activities on college campuses, at community centers, and within low-income apartment complexes, connecting housing issues.

2024 Programs

Georgia ACT is currently conducting coordinated voter engagement efforts in Georgia (including voter registration, education, and mobilization). We are doing tabling, social media campaigns, targeted canvassing, email campaigns and rallies. Our target areas are Clayton, DeKalb, Fulton, Bibb and Ben Hill Counties that include traditionally underserved lower propensity areas (i.e. low-income apartment complexes, rural communities, and HBCU campuses).

New Era Colorado Action Fund (c4)

Organization Description

At New Era, we are building a youth movement toward our collective vision by organizing and building the power of young people to participate in the political process and pressure the systems to create the world we deserve. We aim to do this through organizing communities of young people across the state to recognize and harness their power, electing young leaders and champions into office, and breaking down systemic barriers to accessing that power. By investing in the potential of young leaders, we are investing in the movement towards our collective vision.

2026 Programs

The path to winning back the U.S. House of Representatives runs directly through Colorado’s Congressional District 8, and we have our sights set on electing a Democratic candidate in one of the country’s most competitive races. We must also pass a Graduated Income Tax on the 2026 ballot by turning out young people in support; elect strong democracy defenders in state constitutional offices; and grow our bench of Youth Agenda Champions in the State House and Senate by endorsing in the regions where we organize year-round, prioritizing tight races nestled in congressional districts 3 and 8.

2025 Programs

In 2025, for the first time, New Era endorsed candidates in city council races because local government is a true locus of control in our daily lives — determining everything from schools to policing — and because it shows young people the tangible power of their vote. We ran our most ambitious municipal election program to date, reaching over 120,000 young people in our key regions across Colorado whose votes helped elect seven Youth Agenda Champions to local office. In Aurora, despite being outspent 15-to-1 by conservative dollars, every single New Era-endorsed candidate won, flipping the majority at city hall.

2024 Programs

NECAF will be targeting 18-34 year-olds, prioritizing young people of color, to turn out in targeted districts like CO-3 and CO-8 and to vote for a ballot measure that protects abortion rights. NECAF will endorse Youth Agenda champions in state legislative races, including the June state primary.

New Era Colorado Foundation (c3)

Organization Description

New Era Colorado Foundation organizes young people to participate in the political process, develop as leaders, and find a political home.

2026 Programs

In 2026, we are turning out young voters across the state to pass a Graduated Income Tax on the ballot. Colorado currently has a flat income tax rate and a recurring state budget deficit of up to $1 billion, because our tax system does not generate sufficient revenue. Combined with federal budget cuts, we must rewrite the rules so that the ultra-wealthy and corporations pay what they owe. We'll use this ballot measure to turn out young voters who will also elect our next governor, attorney general, secretary of state, and state legislators.

2025 Programs

In 2025, New Era Colorado organized young BIPOC voters across the state to Get Out The Vote in their local elections, including Colorado Springs, Aurora, Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley and Pueblo. We also spent the year talking with young people about tax equity, hearing the impact of economic injustice in their lives, and getting them primed to vote for a graduated income tax ballot measure in 2026. A survey we did in the summer showed that 96% of our base agreed that the wealthy should pay their fair share!

Illinois Environmental Council (c4)

Organization Description

The Illinois Environmental Council’s mission is to advance equitable public policies that ensure a healthy environment across Illinois through collaboration, building power, and advocacy. We are Illinois’ trusted voice for creating sound environmental policy, and we have been at the heart of every legislative environmental win in the state over the past two decades. Founded in 1975 by a group of dedicated grassroots environmentalists, IEC now convenes a growing statewide coalition of 130-plus environmental organizations and represents more than 600 individual members. Ultimately, we envision an Illinois where informed decision-makers and empowered communities successfully champion the environment.

2025 Programs

Last year, the Illinois General Assembly passed two major climate bills in the final hours of veto session: the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act, which safeguards Illinois’ climate commitments and protects consumers from volatile prices, and the Northern Illinois Transit Authority Act, which reduces carbon emissions by fixing and funding the Chicagoland public transit system. IEC—alongside our partners in the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition—were integral to securing the bills’ passage, driving an ambitious lobbying, grassroots, and communications program that included hosting three lobby days that brought 800+ people to the State Capitol and delivering 5,000+ messages to lawmakers.

CIRC Action Fund (c4/PAC)

Organization Description

CIRC Action Fund (501(c)4) was established in 2012 to build a strong and thriving Colorado where all residents are treated with dignity and respect, have equal access to a fair quality of life, and the opportunity to live united with family. Our mission compels us to elect and protect candidates with a history of championing immigrant rights issues and to mobilize an electorate of People of Color and New Americans that reflects the populations where we work.

2026 Programs

In 2026, CIRC Action Fund is planning to lead a nonpartisan and partisan voter engagement program in Congressional District 8, one of the most competitive districts in the state. At the state level, we are looking at the Governor and Attorney General races (to be confirmed). Additionally, our focus will continue to be on maintaining and expanding pro-immigrant majorities in the State Senate and House. We will target low-propensity BIPOC voters through door knocking, texts, mailers, and ads.

2025 Programs

In 2025, our goal was to mobilize voters in Colorado’s Congressional District 8 (CD-08) to support pro-immigrant candidates and policies through targeted, community-driven campaigns. We focused on municipal elections in Adams County, specifically in Westminster, Aurora, Greeley, and Commerce City – all overlap with CD8 – to lay the groundwork for stronger turnout in 2026. By connecting local issues to immigrant rights and building relationships through trusted community networks, we prepared the foundation for large-scale mobilization this year. We knocked on close to 5,000 doors and seven of our local endorsed candidates won their races.

Center for Racial and Gender Equity (c4)

Organization Description

Through leadership development, policy advocacy, civic education and political engagement, CRGE advances a grassroots vision for racial and gender justice. We run grassroots policy and electoral campaigns, engaging Black voters and building Black women’s leadership to advance legislation and candidates that explicitly support Black women’s liberation. We invest in long-term relationships with communities across Wisconsin and Illinois, to mobilize a powerful electorate behind progressive candidates and policies that authentically reflect our communities’ needs and values.

2026 Programs

Electoral: Deep engagement/relationship-building in WI and IL communities of color; Voter education/mobilization leading up to primaries and general elections; Focus on congressional swing districts (IL and WI), WI gubernatorial race, and select state legislature races.
Policy: Launch a Clean Slate campaign to bring automated records relief to Wisconsin; High potential for relationship-building in new communities, which will feed into our electoral work; Continue IL campaigns to expand childcare assistance and generate new revenues for the state.
Education: Continue our virtual series of monthly teach-ins focused on federal policy and actions, including HR1 and Know-Your-Rights/response to ICE activity.

2025 Programs

Electoral: Reached 100,000+ voters in Wisconsin before the state Supreme Court Race, educating them about the Supreme Court’s role; Changed the narrative about the race, moving voters from apathy to participation.
Policy: Passed Clean Slate legislation, which automates records sealing/expungement for eligible Illinoisans with old arrest/conviction records, and will improve access to stable housing, jobs, education, etc.; Developed plans to launch a Wisconsin Clean Slate campaign in 2026.
Leadership: Initiated a new 9-week civic-leadership program; graduated the first cohort; Offered monthly trainings on grassroots advocacy and voter mobilization; Launched a new political education series about federal policy/actions.

2024 Programs

CRGE will reach low-to-moderate-propensity Black voters in six Wisconsin counties, knocking 70,000+ doors to have deep, issues-focused conversations that promote electoral participation. We’ll supplement our canvassing with texting, phone banking, digital ads, mailers, a robust relational organizing program, and an online hub of voter resources/information.

New Pennsylvania Project (c4)

Organization Description

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, those who are justice impacted, immigrant communities and the youth (under 35) in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.

2026 Programs

NPP will focus on year-round voter engagement, civic education, and mobilization while protecting and expanding voting rights. NPP will host community events and engage in issue advocacy centered on the judiciary, raising the minimum wage, environmental/climate justice, and building a more representative democracy. Digital engagement will include “Slingshot The Podcast”, e-blasts, and social media. NPP’s lobbying efforts will codify voting rights for those who are justice impacted, advance a state Voting Rights Act, advance same-day voter registration and true early voting on machines, and oppose restrictive voter ID laws. NPP will run a Get-Out-The-Vote program for the November general election.

2025 Programs

Launched “Slingshot The Podcast” in March with biweekly episodes. Digital engagement (biweekly e-Blasts and social media). Hosted 39 “Why Courts and Judicial Elections Matter” presentations and traveled across PA as a part of the “Why Courts Matter Roadshow”. Hosted more than 50 events providing education about the state judiciary, voting rights, and democracy issues. Mobilized voters to the polls during the two-week independent expenditure Get-Out-the-Vote program for the November general election. More than 15,000 doors knocked - 15.53% contact rate. Staff encouraged voters to vote YES on judicial retention at precincts on E-day.

2024 Programs

NPP, a voting rights organization will engage in community conversations, candidate forums, voting rights protection, expansion and advocacy by meeting our centered communities (Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth) where they are and providing all the necessary civic education needed to expand the electorate.

Make the Road Action in Nevada (MRA-NV) will continue to build grassroots political power by engaging working-class and immigrant communities in voter education, mobilization, and issue advocacy. Eastern Kentucky Community Land Trust works to create permanently affordable, community-controlled housing and land in Eastern Kentucky. In 2026, Eastern Kentucky Community Land Trust will focus on building the foundation for long-term, community-owned housing across Eastern Kentucky. Our core programs include organizing community members into a strong, representative CLT membership; developing democratic governance and board leadership; advancing land acquisition and predevelopment planning; and deepening community education through workshops and cultural organizing. We will strengthen partnerships with tenants, students, and local institutions to build support for permanently affordable housing and prepare for the development and stewardship of our first CLT homes. We are building capacity and looking to buy our first property.

In 2025, Eastern Kentucky Community Land Trust focused on establishing the groundwork for permanent, community-owned housing in Eastern Kentucky. We incorporated as a nonprofit, built a diverse founding board, and developed core governance documents and policies. We engaged residents through community meetings, educational workshops, and cultural organizing projects that connected housing, land, and Appalachian identity. We advanced early site exploration and partnerships while beginning fundraising and capacity building efforts, positioning the organization to move from planning to land acquisition and development in 2026.

Organization Description

The People’s Lobby is a membership-driven organization devoted to organizing widespread support for legislation and candidates that put the needs of people and the planet before the interests of corporations and the very rich.

2026 Programs

We plan to do significant campaign work for our slate of endorsed candidates in the months leading up to the primary election in March of 2026. The bulk of that work will go toward winning votes for State Senator Robert Peters in his race for US Congress. Robert formerly served as The People’s Lobby’s political director, and has worked closely with us for years to help us advance our legislative goals. After the primary, we will pivot toward a general election program, targeting State Representative and State Senate races in the western suburbs of Chicago.

In 2025, we recruited a team of experienced members to select, interview, and evaluate candidates running for office in 2026 for endorsement. We began that process toward the end of the year, and will continue to add new candidates to our slate in the new year.

Workers Center for Racial Justice (c3)

Organization Description

WCRJ is a grassroots organization fighting for Black liberation, and for a fair and inclusive society that benefits all people. We organize marginalized Black workers and families to address root causes of the high rates of unemployment, low-wage work and over-criminalization plaguing Black communities. To do this, we focus on direct action organizing, policy advocacy, leadership development and voter engagement at the municipal and state levels, with the objective of building a caring economy and society that allow Black people to reach their full human potential.

2026 Programs

Electoral priorities: 1) Deep relationship-building in Wisconsin and Illinois communities with large populations of color (base building). 2) Voter education/mobilization activities leading up to primaries and general elections.
Policy priorities: 1) Launch a Clean Slate campaign to bring automated records relief to Wisconsin. 2) Work on Clean Slate Act implementation in Illinois. 3) Pursue expanded childcare investments in both states. 4) Build public support for guaranteed income programs in both states.
Leadership development priorities: 1) Continue our Civic Engagement Cohort program, a 9-week training program for emerging civic leaders. 2) Continue offering regular trainings on the legislative process, advocacy tactics, neighborhood organizing, and volunteer-driven voter engagement.

2025 Programs

WCRJ’s programs include:
1) Deep canvassing in low-income, system-impacted Black neighborhoods, with the goal of engaging new supporters (base-building);
2) Leadership development including consciousness-raising programs, civic education and organizing 101;
3) Nonpartisan voter engagement, to drive informed electoral participation and increase Black voter turnout;
4) Grassroots policy advocacy, focused on issues that impact Black individuals and families; and
5) Direct actions, engagement with elected officials, community forums, and other activities designed to hold officials accountable and build support for key structural reforms. 2025 included work around the Wisconsin Supreme Court Race, as well as city and state-level policy campaigns.

Organization Description

Just Harvest works to ensure that everyone has the food, income, and dignity they need to thrive. We connect people to essential benefits, fight hunger through direct service, and challenge the policies that create poverty in the first place. Rooted in community and driven by justice, we stand beside our neighbors, remove barriers, and push for systems that truly serve people. Our work is guided by the belief that access to food is a human right and that lasting change comes from both meeting urgent needs and transforming the conditions that cause them.

2026 Programs

Just Harvest will pilot a community-driven SNAP access system that makes it simpler for people to get and keep the support they’re entitled to. We’ll strengthen Fresh Access by listening closely to vendors, shoppers, and neighborhoods to shape the next phase of the program to bring affordable, fresh food to our neighbors. Our Free Tax Prep program will continue helping families build financial stability through trusted, year-round support. Our policy work will elevate community voices, defend essential resources, and push for income policies that help families thrive.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Just Harvest will expand SNAP outreach and strengthen access to fresh, local food through a dollar for dollar match for SNAP shoppers at CitiParks farmers markets. We’ll continue to lead the Free Tax Prep coalition to help thousands of households file tax returns, maximize refunds, and keep more money in their pockets. We’ll deepen policy advocacy on SNAP, and tax justice, while piloting new tech tools that simplify applying for and keeping benefits. We’ll invest in community and organization partnerships, and push for long-term solutions that reduce hunger and advance economic justice across the greater Pittsburgh region.

EOPA Code Blue Water Solutions (c4)

Organization Description

EOPA Code Blue is a nonpartisan network mobilizing former and current lawmakers to solve the climate emergency, ensuring environmental justice, and protecting our lands, waters, and democracy. EOPA Code Blue trains lawmakers through our Public Leadership Certificate Program with the University of San Francisco, inspires through value-based storytelling/media and video production, and organizes via peer-to-peer policy advocacy to enact climate solutions via international, national, state, and local programs. EOPA Code Blue is the only national organization mobilizing veterans who are lawmakers peer-to-peer to impact environmental policies. We work with elected officials in all 50 states and increasingly globally.

2025 Programs

1. Mobilizing veterans to defend democracy, public lands, and nature-based climate solutions.
2. Clean energy deployment, including advancing offshore wind and highlighting local renewables projects.
3. Phasing out fossil fuels, including building electrification with SAFE Cities local officials network.
Our Energy Security Summit featured former DOE directors and brought 48 lawmakers to Capitol Hill to educate Congress and defend IRA. Organization Description

Air Alliance Houston (AAH) believes everyone deserves to breathe clean air. We are now the longest-running advocacy nonprofit in Houston/Harris County dedicated solely to this goal. We do this through research, education, and advocacy campaigns that address all of the major sources of air pollution while centering the lived expertise of those who are most impacted by its health harms. We run the area’s largest community air monitoring program and, every year, notify 50,000 households about air permit decisions and teach and train over 5,000 community members to to be vocal and engaged advocates for their health.

We address the major sources of air pollution in the Houston area through 3 core programming areas:
1) Community Science: We generate new insights on air pollution to inform the public narrative, design effective campaigns, and guide hyper-local community action planning.
2) Narrative Change: We communicate to the public, media, elected officials, and decision-makers at all levels about air quality concerns and true climate solutions.
3) Advocacy: We create pathways for people to engage in environmental decision-making for themselves and their communities and to promote policy and practice solutions to poor air quality and climate impacts.

We will train a new cohort of Diane Nash Fellows to lead nonpartisan civic education and healing-centered engagement, while continuing to reach over 500,000 unregistered voters with tools to register and vote. We will also launch our Rooted in Rural campaign—an environmental and civic education initiative that uplifts rural Black Women leaders, builds organizing capacity, and strengthens rural communities through equity-centered environmental justice.

Through leadership development, coalition partnerships, and issue-based advocacy, we will strengthen civic participation and elevate Black Women’s leadership across all eight core states.

In 2025, 1K Women Strong Inc. will expand year-round organizing across our eight core states, with a focus on key statewide and municipal races. Our fellows, digital organizers, and field teams will engage Black Women and their communities through leadership development, community events, and coordinated door-knocking efforts. We will focus heavily on Georgia’s Public Service Commissioner race, the Virginia gubernatorial election, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court race, and mayoral contests in New Jersey and New York City. Through sustained outreach, digital engagement, and coalition partnerships, we will strengthen civic participation and ensure Black Women’s voices shape the policies impacting their lives.

FLIC strengthens immigrant power in Florida by offering pro-bono services, education, and advocacy. FANM works toward an inclusive, equitable, and a just society for all. FANM’s mission is to train, educate, organize and mobilize grassroots citizens from the bottom up. Family Action Network Movement (FANM) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the social, economic, financial and political empowerment of low to moderate-income families to give them the tools to transform their communities. FANM serves 10,000 families per year through direct services such as mental health, domestic violence intervention, adult education and financial literacy, access to health care, immigration services and advocacy, after school and youth leadership programs, community economic development. In 2025, Nonprofit VOTE will resource and support community-based nonprofits across the nation and lay the foundation for a robust field program across 8+ states in 2026. We will train thousands of nonprofit leaders through webinars, expand access to state-specific toolkits, and coordinate National Voter Registration Day efforts. Our resources will support nonprofits in engaging hard-to-reach voters, particularly in rural, immigrant, low-income, and disability communities. Through data-driven strategies, we’ll ensure underrepresented groups have access to the ballot and are reflected in our democracy.

FTW's envisions a world in which public funds are invested equitably in communities fighting the climate crisis and to strengthening public institutions. Our mission is ensuring that public investments in Wisconsin are effective, efficient, and equitable. FTW does this coalition organizing at scale, direct outreach in communities, and strategic charitable investment designed to fill gaps and fully leverage public investments. Since our founding in 2023 we have held multiple convenings to bring hundreds of ally groups togethers, visited more than 400,000 doors with our message, and leveraged millions of dollars in public funding through charitable investments.

2025 Programs

In 2025, FTW is continuing to promote and educate Wisconsinites on how they can access transformative IRA funds, including Direct Pay, HOMES and HEAR funding, and more. We are focusing on funds that have already moved or are less likely to be clawed back. We are also focusing on finding, creating, and promoting success stories to aid in the fight to defend this legislation, including investments to close funding gaps in low income communities. We will also run education campaigns at the door to help promote public benefits, increase civic engagement, and to register new voters.

2024 Programs

FTW’s door program highlights community-level IRA investments and how individuals can access IRA funds and a voter registration and commit to vote ask. We target urban BIPOC and low-income communities including Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and La Crosse and layer paid digital ads over our knocks.

Organization Description

GALEO is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2003. GALEO strives for a better Georgia where the Latinx community is engaged civically. Voter Registration and Civic Engagement: Between 2025 and 2026, we will register 2,000 voters and support them in their voter education and voter engagement activities. We will also run 24 Know Your Rights and/or Community Town Halls to educate and engage our community. We will host a monthly podcast to reach Latinos throughout the state, so they are fully informed.
Leadership Development: Our GIL program’s popularity has increased exponentially since the 2024 Presidential Election. During the next two years, we will accommodate the increased demand in our traditional program and expand our “El Pueblos Unido” civic engagement program.

GALEO is involved in increasing civic participation of the Latinx community and developing prominent Latinx leaders throughout Georgia. Organization Description

The GALEO Impact Fund was established in 2019 to help organize the Latino community's growing political power in Georgia. GALEO has been working to increase civic engagement and leadership in the Latino community in Georgia since 2003. Through this work, the GALEO team saw a need to continue the invaluable non-partisan work of the GALEO along with a separate institution to engage in more political activism. In 2025, we plan to do c3/c4 nonpartisan Know Your Rights efforts in Q1/Q2. Our goal for the KYR is to have 24 community town halls, informational sessions, and/or virtual gatherings in 2025. Additionally, we will build up the audience in the revamped podcast to include 300 views and social media following. We are focusing on KYR, Immigration, Executive Orders, potential legislation that can impact our community, and leadership in the podcast to continue to educate and empower our community. Our podcast provides access to our community to subject matter experts and legislators who directly impact their lives.

The Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund (OEC AF) builds the political power of the environmental movement in Ohio through strategic issue and electoral campaigns as well as elected official accountability. VoteRiders’ mission is to ensure that no eligible voter is prevented from casting a ballot that counts due to voter ID laws, either directly from lack of acceptable ID or indirectly because of voter confusion. VoteRiders educates voters and assists citizens to secure their voter ID. We inspire and support organizations, volunteers, and communities to sustain such voter ID education and assistance efforts.

We provide information about voter ID requirements for every voter in every state, via our toll-free Voter ID Helpline (866-ID-2-VOTE), online resources, educational wallet cards and our on-the-ground teams. Voters can always connect with a VoteRiders team member through our Chatbot, Helpline, and website to ask questions and receive free assistance. Asian Texans for Justice (c3)

Organization Description

Asian Texans for Justice (ATJ) is a statewide, 501(c)(3) organization that serves more than 1.9 million Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) in Texas. ATJ envisions a future where all people feel bold in their belonging. Our mission is to connect Asian Texans to meaningful civic action to build personal and political power. Texas is home to the third largest and fastest growing Asian American population in the country.

2025 Programs

For 2025, Asian Texans for Justice will focus on advocacy, youth leadership development, and civic engagement. We will prioritize state policy advocacy to protect AAPI rights, combat xenophobic laws, and expand language access and voting rights. Through advocacy days, coalition work, and in-language resources, we will engage and mobilize AAPI communities. Following session, we will host our Civic Engagement Fellowship to train young AAPI leaders in policy and organizing. We will also support voter registration, education, and turnout efforts through subgrants and partnerships, aiming to empower AAPI Texans to participate in democracy and shape policy.

Organization Description

Rise AAPI is a state-wide 501(c)(4) organization strengthening progressive power at all levels of government. Our mission is to win lasting power and policy change that benefits all. We strive for equity and justice by building power through community directed organizing, increasing civic engagement, and empowering our community to actively advocate for their interests within the legislative framework.

2025 Programs

Rise AAPI will focus on three areas: advocacy, candidate leadership development, and civic engagement. In the first half of the grant period, we will prioritize state policy advocacy to protect AAPI rights and combat xenophobic legislation like anti-alien land laws. This includes advocacy days at the Texas Capitol, coalition work, and in-language education materials. After session, we will launch a candidate leadership development program to train future AAPI candidates on civic engagement, policy, and community organizing. Throughout the grant period, we will also lead voter registration, education, and turnout efforts in high-density AAPI communities across Texas.

Indivisible Marin (Group)

2025 Programs

Indivisible Marin is a community of nearly 12,000 volunteers committed to taking action to create a more just, caring, and inclusive America. Nearly half of our volunteers are from outside California. Currently, our focus is to help our members take action in the fight to protect our democracy and the American people from the harms of the current Administration. Protesting, advocacy with elected officials, and other programs covered on our website are important ways to take action. We will also campaign for Democrats in various elections this year and ready ourselves for the crucial work of winning in 2026.

2024 Programs

IndiMarin runs weekly phonebanks and postcarding events supporting Democratic candidates in battleground toss up races. We also have an online postcarding program and participate in canvasses in the Central Valley. We work with our state party and Activate America with platforms that target low propensity/low information Democrat leaning voters.

Mission

Indivisible Marin is a community of over 4,300 volunteers committed to taking action to create a more just, caring and inclusive America. Many of our events and actions are virtual and we welcome volunteers from all locations! In election years, we focus on helping elect Democrats to both chambers of Congress, as well as the White House. In off-election years, we focus on advocacy with elected officials and other influential leaders to promote a government that functions by and for the people.

350 Wisconsin (c3)

2025 Programs

350 Wisconsin is planning a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort to promote voter turnout and highlight the importance of the upcoming election. We will also be conducting GOTV efforts via our c4 sister organization, 350 Wisconsin Action. Our efforts will include sharing nonpartisan candidate information, providing background on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, supplying voter registration information, and offering inclusive opportunities for civic engagement with elected officials and other leaders throughout the year.

2024 Programs

350 Wisconsin is registering new voters, primarily focusing on college campuses and surrounding cities. They host events, table, send postcards, and use relational organizing to register students.

350 Wisconsin Action (c4)

2025 Programs

In 2025, 350 Wisconsin Action will focus on rural deep canvassing, youth/campus organizing, and relational voter engagement to mobilize voters for the Wisconsin State Supreme Court election. We’ll prioritize UW-Stevens Point, UW-Platteville, and UW-Madison, hiring a campus organizing fellow and conducting high-traffic canvassing. We'll continue to grow our deep canvassing program, engaging rural voters in transformative conversations. We will also support the development of youth leadership for year-round civic engagement with elected officials and leaders.

2024 Programs

350 Wisconsin Action mobilizes grassroots power to impact crucial local, state, and national elections. We rally rural and BIPOC populations, climate activists, and youth in strategic districts using deep canvassing, relational organizing, and campus engagement. We develop leaders and empower individuals to forge a just, democratic, and sustainable future.

We mobilize concerned voters to push for bold climate action from government and elected officials by endorsing, uplifting, and electing climate champions who support the rapid change we need. California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) builds political power to solve the climate crisis and advance environmental justice. 2025 Programs

In 2025, California Environmental Voters will focus on four core areas. Our global leadership work will position California as the leading U.S. voice on international climate action, building global partnerships, and advancing initiatives like the UN’s 30x30 conservation goals. We will defend landmark climate wins through a litigation strategy in collaboration with state and local legal partners. Our state action efforts will advance bold legislation to hold polluters accountable, expand clean energy, and prioritize equity. Through strategic communications work, we will counter anti-environmental narratives and strengthen public support for climate action.

2024 Programs

California Environmental Voters builds the political power to solve the climate crisis while advancing justice. We prioritize building power in regions on the frontlines of climate impacts, and with the least representation and lowest voter turnout. In 2024, we will do so through direct voter outreach in coordination with campaigns, and complimentary direct mail, texting, paid ads, and earned media programs.

Building Decarbonization – influence Governor’s housing plan, work with municipalities and housing agencies, support state implementation of $100M home energy rebate program.
Electrified Transportation – work with fleet operators to provide tools and resources for electrification.
Grid Decarbonization – drive clean energy development through utility regulatory intervention and Governor’s Operation Gigawatt, support Solar4All, and advocacy and education on federal incentives.

This funding supported a small board of community organizers to begin making steps towards an established and recognized organization. Five days before Veterans Day, and just months after their Independence Day 2024 founding, Independent Veterans of America (IVA) celebrated a historic performance by eleven IVA-endorsed candidates in five states. IVA supported independent veteran candidates at all levels — from local school boards to the US Senate. And we sent shockwaves across the political world by winning an unprecedented 36% of our races.

IVA is the first organization in American history to focus specifically on recruiting, supporting and electing independent and unaffiliated veteran candidates and incumbents. Planned Parenthood Texas Votes will run a targeted statewide voter outreach and registration program in 2026, engaging over 200,000 low-propensity identified Planned Parenthood supporters. Through field outreach, phone banks, digital efforts, and social pressure mail, we’ll use our data to activate this warm contact list, maximizing impact with proven tactics. Our 2024 program achieved a 39% turnout rate among identified low-propensity voters.

Planned Parenthood Texas Votes furthers the mission of Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas by advocating for sexual and reproductive health care and information through educating policy makers and the public, and by empowering Texans to elect candidates who prioritize equitable access to sexual and reproductive health care.

SOWEGA Rising (c3)

SOWEGA Rising will be focused on training the next generation of youth leaders in rural communities. We are working to build leadership pipelines for youth and hiring youth in roles in our organization. Currently, 75% of our staff are youth 18-30. We will continue to take large groups of youth with us on advocacy day trips to the state capitol annually, engage youth in organizing trainings and develop youth leadership programs.

Prioritizing communities of color that have a low voter registration/turnout count but high opportunity to shift political power in local elections. Will host engaging actions and bring voter registration to community events. In addition, team will be rolling out a digital VR Campaign to increase online voter registration engagement and Civics for Lunch Campaign focused on graduating seniors.

Common Defense Civic Engagement (c4/PAC)

Looking ahead, in 2025 and beyond, Common Defense will continue prioritizing ongoing base-building activities, providing members with the training and education necessary to hone their organizing skills, leverage the power of their voice, and participate in our current and future electoral, democracy, immigration and climate campaigns. We are looking forward to scaling up our direct voter contact campaigns in 2026 and reaching even more voters during the midterms.

2024 Programs

Common Defense is uniting veterans across party lines to ensure Vice President Kamala Harris becomes the next President of the United States. This is the only veteran-led effort with a track record of reaching voters through high-impact grassroots organizing, earned media, and visibility actions. In the remaining phase of the election, Common Defense will target voters in five key states which will determine the White House and control of Congress and use our twelve organizing staff and our “Corps” of 670 existing trained in-state super-volunteers to mobilize military veterans to support the Democratic ticket using an array of tactics. We aim to persuade the critical constituency of swing voters especially suburban, patriotic, working class and middle class voters who are a decisive component of reconstructing the anti-MAGA coalition.

Mission

Founded in 2016, Common Defense is the nation’s largest grassroots organization of US military veterans and the only one that invests in the leadership of its members through training and deployment in campaigns that connect directly to their history of service, including voting rights, climate justice, and anti-militarism.

We mobilize our base of women of color voters through year-round basebuilding, focusing on direct voter contact and community care events. We invest in building political power for women of color and domestic workers to ensure they have the economic support they need to thrive. National Domestic Workers Alliance Inc. (c3)

NDWA is dedicated to advancing domestic and care workers' rights nationwide. In 2025, we’ll prioritize Medicaid funding, defend gained worker wages, and counter anti-immigration policies. At state and local levels, we’ll advance the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights, data collection for HCBS policy advocacy, and initiatives to deliver the most impactful resources in this shifting political landscape. Additionally, NDWA will bolster worker protections, expand digital organizing, and enhance our rapid response networks.

Our civic engagement program is focused on educating voters about care and turning out women of color voters in Sunbelt states, where care and domestic workers have traditionally been left behind, and which is often home to areas with the worst care crisis in the nation.

Mission

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) works for respect, recognition, and rights for the more than 2.2 million nannies, house cleaners, and home care workers who do the essential work of caring for our loved ones and our homes. Driven by domestic workers’ priorities, NDWA is working to catalyze a paradigm shift in the way domestic work is understood, valued, and compensated to ensure that these much-needed jobs are good jobs with dignity, economic security, and labor protections. NDWA is a non-partisan charitable organization and does not endorse, support, or oppose any candidate for public office.

With newly elected Gov. Josh Stein and a one vote veto-sustaining margin in the House, we will be working to support Governor's Stein's pro-climate, pro-environment efforts, and defend against legislative attacks on our environment, our democracy, and our communities. We will also engage strategically on IRA defense and implementation, the Carbon Planning process, and continue our efforts to hold Duke Energy and the NC Utilities Commission accountable for meeting our clean energy goals.

2024 Programs

Working to elect climate champion Josh Stein over climate denier Mark Robinson. We will run a canvass with a relational text overlay in vote-dense Mecklenburg County targeting persuadable swing voters. We will also work to gain a veto-proof minority in the state House by winning four of ten competitive House seats with paid media/mail.

One Fair Wage Action Inc (c4)

After the 2024 election, Democrats have committed to working on wage increases and ending subminimum wages. In 2025, we’re seeing momentum for policy changes in Illinois, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Arizona, and California. One Fair Wage Action will support legislative campaigns in IL, MD, and NY, while in OH, AZ, and CA, we’ll push for ballot measures, mobilizing workers to gather signatures and engage voters.

Led by women of color, One Fair Wage Action is collecting voter registrations while gathering signatures for a minimum wage ballot measure. Mission

One Fair Wage Action is a national organization seeking to raise wages, improve working conditions, and build power for workers in the service sector, and end all subminimum wages in the United States. In particular, we organize service workers to lead legislation and ballot measure campaigns to raise wages in their industry, and also engage them in large-scale peer-to-peer voter engagement programs to support these wage increases and candidates who support them, driving change from the ground up.

2025 Programs

Volunteer Community Outreach is our top priority. We volunteer to:
Provide services at Senior Centers (reception, luncheon, meals-on-wheels);
Attend local LGBTQ meetings, support their/our priorities and engage in their/our actions;
Assist our Latinx neighbors with transportation upon release from detention, for medical appointments, for visits to lawyers. We work to provide help for children whose parents are detained, and highlight education on rights and protections. We engage in local government meetings–County Commissioners, School Boards, Senior Center Boards, Township Trustees, City Council. We will engage in targeted voter outreach as the 2025 primary and general elections draw nearer.

2024 Programs

We are volunteers dedicated to democracy in a deeply red, rural county. Goals:
1) Contact like-minded and persuadable voters–empower them to vote.
2) Reach voters via conversations at events and in public venues, canvass (“standard” and “deep”), promote our Talk Teams, distribute cards/pamphlets, text, engage through social media and billboards.

We are an all-volunteer group that came together in January 2019 with the goal of supporting the democratic principles of freedom, justice, equality, and inclusion. We are dedicated to promoting fairness in elections as well as educating and turning out voters so that all our voices can be heard.

Project Innerspace (c3)

Organization Description

To help accelerate progress by 2030, Project Innerspace will deploy a disruptive roster of innovative geothermal start-ups and thought leaders to promote the need for project financing, leveraging our Geomap to identify high-impact pilot locations and working with local partners to investigate and overcome policy barriers to development opportunities. Key to our approach is engagement with the oil and gas industry which holds the technologies and workforce necessary to scale geothermal energy. Through these efforts, we aim to socialize geothermal and reduce risks associated with new geothermal concepts sufficiently to catalyze significant investment to realize carbon reductions at scale.

2025 Programs

Next generation geothermal is a zero-carbon source of electricity and heat/cooling that is at a critical inflection point to unlock massive decarbonization benefits in the US worldwide. According to a December 2024 IEA report, new geothermal technologies have the potential to meet all electricity and heat demand in Africa, China, Europe, Southeast Asia and the United States combined. Despite this, Geothermal has been absent from major conversations about decarbonization in the US. Project Innerspace is facilitating the rapid transfer of resources, technologies, and know-how from the oil and gas industry toward geothermal energy production through innovations like GeoMap.
