Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions | FACS (c3)

Organization Description

Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions (FACS) organizes the power of Virginia’s faith communities and people of good will to advance local solutions to the urgent moral challenge of climate change. We began as a discussion group in a Unitarian church basement a decade ago. Today, we have some 3,000 supporters in five regional hubs, a small staff, influence with elected officials throughout Northern Virginia and the state capitol of Richmond, and a proud record of accomplishments. FACS is a trusted partner with local governments, state and local organizations, and over 225 faith communities in the region.

2026 Programs

This summer, we launched the Urban Heat Island Mapping Project and recruited 80+ citizen scientist volunteers. When George Mason University completes data analysis, we’ll advocate for local governments to address heat in low-income areas. Our second major program is to advocate for solar parking lot canopies. Earlier this year, our state-level advocacy was key to the passage of two laws: one requires our utility to assess and plan for Battery Electric Storage Systems; another is a national model for Data Center Transparency. We also host an annual Sustainability Champions Awards, a Climate Crisis Forum, and nurture congregational green teams.

Organization Description

MIS empowers justice-impacted individuals, incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people, and the families who love them, especially mothers of incarcerated sons, through advocacy, education, healing, leadership development, and civic engagement. We promote voter registration, voter education, and meaningful community participation to strengthen democratic engagement and amplify the voices of impacted communities. 2026 Programs

In 2026, MIS core programming will expand civic engagement through voter registration, voter education, and nonpartisan community participation initiatives that empower justice-impacted individuals and their families. We will provide community leadership training, strengthen our grassroots base through member recruitment and volunteer development, and advance legislative advocacy that elevates the voices and priorities of incarcerated people, formerly incarcerated people, and mothers of incarcerated loved ones. Rooted in lived experience, we will build collective power to influence public policy, strengthen communities, and create lasting systems change rooted in equity, dignity, and opportunity.

2025 Programs

In 2025, our organization facilitated community listening sessions, hosted nonpartisan voter education candidate forums, conducted successful voter registration drives, and mobilized voters through virtual phone banking, door knocking, and other Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts. We provided leadership development and legislative advocacy training, expanded our grassroots membership, and elevated the voices of justice-impacted individuals and families. We also strengthened community connections by hosting a holiday party and toy giveaway, while building partnerships and advancing equitable policies that support incarcerated people, formerly incarcerated people, and mothers of incarcerated loved ones.

CivicIQ’s 2026 programs target the "marginal" influence of Rural Electric Co-ops to identify pro-clean energy voters in Michigan, Missouri, and Indiana. We advance community benefit frameworks across 10–20 projects to secure tangible wins, modernize narratives, and streamline permitting through depolarization. Our digital strategy scales this impact by deploying a diversified social media brand reaching audiences from progressive youth to conservative ruralites. Finally, we leverage custom AI agents for "narrative regrounding," moving fence-sitters and entrenched opposition toward supporting local clean energy.

2025 Programs

In 2025, CivicIQ focused on scaling localized impact and refining data-driven outreach. We partnered with developers to manage community sentiment and benefits during both greenfielding and permitting phases. A key achievement was developing breakthrough methods for identifying landowner leads in high-priority greenfielding zones. We successfully activated our subscriber base across Facebook Messenger, email, and SMS, generating critical positive public comments that helped secure a landmark permitting victory for a major wind project in Wisconsin. These results validated our ability to move the needle on the ground while building a repeatable framework for national expansion.

Breach Collective focuses on: a just energy transition, labor movement resurgence, democratic freedoms, and cross-movement solidarity. We are a unionized, worker self-directed 501(c)(3) organization that partners with frontline workers and communities to target the forces undergirding the present toxic and exploitative energy system. Key 2026 campaigns include: 1) Defend the integrity of Portland’s historic Clean Energy Fund and successfully pass a Eugene Clean Energy Fund to ensure large companies pay their fair share towards a just transition; 2) Prevent legal immunity for Big Oil and protect efforts to hold it accountable for decades of knowledge about the harms of its activities; 3) Fight utilities that shoulder human ratepayers with infrastructure upgrade costs to maximize datacenter and other industrial profits; 4) Amend building standards to require safe, efficient, and climate resilient existing rental properties and new residential construction; and 5) Promote investor-owned utilities’ conversion into transparent, democratic, publicly-owned utilities.

2025 Programs

Prevented Zenith Energy — a large company that transports and stores fossil fuels near schools and hospitals in Portland — from winning a fast-tracked backroom deal and pushed 11 out of 12 City Councilors to declare that the company’s actions created the appearance of impropriety. Supported on-the-ground organizers in Ashland to win legislation that created a municipal fee on new gas construction. Presented at Portland City Council hearings to debunk fossil fuel industry greenwashing around so-called “renewable fuels” and expose the gas industry’s false solutions playbook. Forced the Multnomah County Commission to reverse proposed budget cuts to its well-respected office.

Save Our Schools Arizona Network (c3)

Organization Description

Save Our Schools Arizona Network works to build the organizing capacity and electoral power of Arizona communities that are most often ignored by and underrepresented in existing state and local power structures. We organize year-round around the issue of public education because the whole community is often invested in and responsible for the success of their local schools. This is particularly true in low-income and underrepresented rural, Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities, where chronically underfunded public schools remain the only education option.

2026 Programs

In 2026, we are strengthening community public schools by hosting town halls, listening sessions, and grassroots events to build civic engagement and rein in Arizona’s unaccountable ESA voucher program. We are training volunteers to defend immigrant families, oppose anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-equity policies, and combat school privatization. Through nonpartisan candidate forums and surveys, we will help voters evaluate candidates’ positions on public education. Finally, through our School Board Alliance and Fellowship pipeline, we are mentoring and supporting values-aligned school board members, providing training and resources to build lasting, community-centered leadership that serves students, educators, and families statewide.

2025 Programs

SOSAZN expanded our statewide organizing infrastructure, particularly in Southern and rural Arizona, adding 4,300+ volunteers and significantly increasing digital and email engagement. We mobilized parents, educators, and students through town halls, school board advocacy, and 57 Education Roadshow presentations to counter disinformation and advance pro-public education policies. We built Community Action Teams across Northern Arizona and in Yuma, Pinal, Cochise, and Santa Cruz counties, led voter registration and GOTV efforts, and strengthened youth leadership pipelines. We also helped defeat harmful legislation, blocked efforts to permanently expand vouchers, and launched a School Board Fellowship supporting 17 newly elected members statewide.

2024 Programs

Save Our Schools AZ engages voters most disadvantaged by cuts to state education funding, including low-income and underrepresented rural, Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities. Our 18,000+ statewide volunteer network employs phone/text banking, roadshows, community tabling, digital ads, and relational organizing.

Organization Description

Protect the Sacred is a Native-led organization cultivating Indigenous youth leadership through cultural reconnection, storytelling, and community organizing. Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis in Navajo Nation, we have grown into a nationally recognized movement advancing Native sovereignty, civic engagement, and long-term community power. Through initiatives like Ride to the Polls, Native Youth Summit, and intergenerational storytelling programs, we blend ancestral knowledge with creative strategy to mobilize rural Tribal communities across Arizona and New Mexico. Our work centers Indigenous identity, youth leadership, and collective action to build a just future for the next seven generations.

2026 Programs

In 2026, Protect the Sacred will expand Ride to the Polls across rural Tribal communities in Arizona and New Mexico, focusing on Navajo, Hopi, Apache, and Pueblo Nations. We will host culturally rooted activations including Hoop to the Polls (Rez Ball), three youth-led community events, a Skate to the Polls + Heavy Metal Concert in Tuba City, and a Solidarity Horseback Trail Ride + Country Concert in Monument Valley. These efforts will mobilize hard-to-reach Native voters, train youth organizers, and strengthen long-term civic infrastructure grounded in sovereignty, culture, and community power.

2025 Programs

Protect the Sacred will empower Native youth through voter engagement and policy advocacy at our 2025 Native Youth Summit. We'll provide training in civic engagement, organizing, and mobilization to increase Native voter turnout. Beyond 2025, we'll expand our Ride for Democracy program, integrating youth-led canvassing and digital tools for rural Native communities. Through policy advocacy, we amplify Indigenous voices, ensuring Native perspectives shape legislation on sovereignty, climate justice, and voting rights for generations to come.

2024 Programs

Our Ride to the Polls program aims to activate 50,000+ young Indigenous voters through art, media, and on-the-ground activations that tap into traditional culture as well as the subcultures of Indigenous communities (Cowboy Culture, Skate Culture, Hip Hop Culture, etc.) to combat disenfranchisement efforts and strengthen the right to vote.

New York Civic Engagement Table (c3)

Organization Description

The New York Civic Engagement Table (NYCET) is committed to supporting the organizing efforts of more than 70 motivated partner organizations in order to bring our state closer to realizing a vibrant, multiracial democracy. In the last 15 years, NYCET and its partners have built a base of 2.3 million people by integrating civic engagement into year-round issue campaigns and direct service provisioning. As a Table, we support the organizing efforts of our partners to build movements that center communities of color, immigrants, poor, and working people. NYCET is a member of the State Voices Affiliated Network.

2026 Programs

At a time of rising authoritarianism, ensuring every New Yorker can participate in our elections is more critical than ever. The stakes are enormous: In 2026, we’ll choose not only our next governor but also a large and highly influential congressional delegation that shapes federal policy. NYCET is fundraising to support a statewide nonpartisan voter engagement program in 2026 focused on mobilizing low propensity voters, with emphasis on reaching BIPOC, youth, and low-income voters in the Hudson Valley and Long Island.

2025 Programs

NYCET partners made more than 1.2 million attempts across New York in advance of the 2025 General Election, 90% of them to low-to-mid propensity voters. Our partners were able to successfully reach voters because they're trusted messengers in their communities. In door-to-door conversations, the average contact rate was 28% – significantly higher than the average 10-15%. And when they contacted voters, they were able to move voters to action and collect commitments to vote. About 70% of voters NYCET partners spoke to committed to voting.

2024 Programs

Since the summer of 2023, NYCET has been coordinating nonpartisan field programs across the state focused on reaching BIPOC, youth, and low-mid propensity voters in advance of the 2024 General Election. Through this effort, partners have made more than 151,600 attempts including knocking on 31,155 doors.

New Hampshire Youth Movement is building a youth-powered movement to make New Hampshire work for everyone. In 2026, New Hampshire Youth Movement will focus on turning out young voters, winning issue campaigns that matter to young people, and growing and training our volunteer base. We will run the most comprehensive nonpartisan youth voter education program in the state, rooted in campus and community organizing, statewide outreach, and digital engagement. Alongside this work, we will organize locally and at the State House for affordable housing, public education, LGBTQ+ rights, and voting rights, while investing deeply in leadership development so young people can build power and drive change now and for years to come.

2025 Programs

In 2025, New Hampshire Youth Movement provided a year-round political home for young people, organizing on the issues they care about most: the cost of education, affordable housing, LGBTQ+ rights, and protecting the right to vote. We mobilized over 1,000 young people to testify and advocate against cuts to public colleges, helped win major housing reforms at the state and local level, and grew strong campus and community hubs across New Hampshire. Through issue organizing, leadership development, and creative digital engagement, we expanded our base, strengthened our organizing capacity, and laid the groundwork to scale our work in 2026.

2024 Programs

NHYM is pledging to vote 10,000 and mobilizing 20,000 young people to vote in New hampshire, focused on college campuses. We will also distribute voter guides, help young people register to vote, and coordinate rides to the polls, and build and grow lasting chapters of young organizers.

At 1 Vote Counts we educate incarcerated individuals, returning citizens, and others living in at-risk communities about voting rights and how civic engagement and the electoral process can positively impact neighborhoods and change the trajectory of a community, city and state. Our long term goal is to create a pipeline of BIPOC community leaders who become committed to the electoral process and use it to demand positive change. 1 Vote Counts conducts voter registration inside and outside of correctional facilities, holds educational seminars, and provides transportation to the polls by partnering with the Capital Area Transit System and local partnerships on election days. We have a clear eyed vision and strategic plan that centers voting advocacy on a neglected, overlooked demographic. Our goal is to break harmful, suppressive cycles of political neglect through education and building community partnerships that are based on mutual respect and sincerity.

Organization Description

Amazon Employees for Climate Justice (AECJ) is a member-led organization of Amazon tech workers that uses our leverage as a highly valued workforce to pressure Amazon’s leadership to change course on environmental and climate justice. We are fighting for a world with a stable climate and thriving ecosystems, where corporations can no longer externalize impacts to our planet and communities, and workers hold collective decision-making power as a key part of healthier democratic systems. Since our launch in 2018, AECJ has consistently held Amazon accountable and won major climate victories, with our work featured in hundreds of press stories.

2025 Programs

AECJ’s Collective Watchdog Program works to daylight Amazon’s greenwashing and highlight tech workers’ stories and critiques to counter Amazon’s PR, in order to keep public and employee focus on the company’s climate and workers’ rights record. We also build cross-class solidarity with logistics workers, and support tech workers in collaborating with and augmenting the work of community-based groups on the frontlines of data center expansion. Meanwhile, our Strategic Organizing Program is building a durable worker-led organization by blending grassroots campaign techniques with labor organizing strategies. Currently, our work is centered around the theme of a “Workers’ Vision for AI.”

Ohio Families Unite Against Police Brutality (c3)

Organization Description

Our mission is to fight against police brutality and to support our extended families who, while not related by blood, are bonded to us through the needless bloodshed of our loved ones.

2025 Programs

In 2024, OFUAPB ran a large canvassing program in Dayton, Ohio focused on those who are directly impacted by police brutality. The canvassers knocked 52,614 doors and connected with 13,203 voters. We also called over 6,400 voters and texted an additional 4,800+ voters in Dayton to remind them to bring their ID to vote and help locate their polling place. In 2025 we are organizing year-round with direct voter engagement and state and local advocacy on police reform.

2024 Programs

Our layered approach includes canvassing, phonebanking, text banking, pollstanding on Election Day, digital and mail. We ensure investment into existing infrastructure in these communities, preserve the authenticity of the trusted messenger’s voice, and support longer term organizing and mobilization for the progressive movement in these spaces.

Through NGP Van and other analytics tools, we will strengthen data measurement, refine voter turnout tactics, and track policy outcomes to ensure sustainable, community-driven change. Black Phoenix Organizing Collective (BPOC/501(c)3) is building a bigger, better, Blacker future in PHX. The Alaska Voter Hub is a diverse coalition of nonprofit organizations. The coalition collaborates and runs collective programming to ensure that every woman, youth and voter of color in the state of Alaska has equitable access to the polls and receives voting education.
