Maine Labor Climate Council (c4)
2024 Programs
We will deploy a robust field operation -- doors, events, follow-up texts/calls -- to persuade and activate independent and Democratic voters in ME-02's coastal communities near the proposed OSW port to support a slate of federal and down-ballot D candidates that support a climate/OSW + good jobs agenda.
Mission
We are a coalition of Maine labor unions representing working Mainers across our state. We seek to develop the labor movement’s vision for how to tackle the twin crises of climate change and inequality in a way that creates good Maine union jobs, reduces carbon emissions and racial and economic inequality, and provides a seat at the table for workers and their unions and communities in this process.
