North Scottsdale Democrats (PAC)
Organization Description
We are an unaffiliated/independent, grassroots, pro-democracy PAC based in northern Scottsdale AZ. Our mission is to build a visible, well-informed and politically active community of Democrats and like-minded independents in our area for the the purpose of helping to elect state, county and local (city and school board) Democratic candidates -- candidates who are committed to defending the Arizona and United States constitutions, the rule of democratically enacted law, our civil liberties, the right to vote, and other precious democratic institutions.
2026 Programs
In 2026, NSD will work to: 1) increase the number of registered Democrats in North Scottsdale; 2) persuade non-Democrat registered voters to vote for Democratic candidates; 3) Maximize election turnout of all North Scottsdale voters, regardless of party affiliation, who will vote for Democratic candidates (Get Out the Vote); 4) support values and public policies that are consistent with our mission and strategic plan; 5) promote accurate, fair, and transparent elections; 6) raise funds to support the above activities and to advance the NSD mission; and conduct other activities that strengthen and promote the aims and objectives of NSD.
2025 Programs
We publish a weekly newsletter (NSD Bulletin), sponsor a political book club (Blue Book Club AZ), and host "Democrats and Coffee," a weekly Zoom discussion group for registered Democrats and invited friends exploring current political news and culture since 2018. In 2025, our focus was on educating voters, recruiting members and volunteers, raising money for our PAC and formulating our election action plan for the 2026 election year.
