WISDOM (c3)
2025 Programs
In 2025, WISDOM will reach more than 100,000 Wisconsin voters in advance of the April 1 election for the State Supreme Court. In April, WISDOM will mobilize more than 1,000 members for "Madison Action Day" and visits to legislators, especially regarding state budget issues that impact the criminal legal system, immigrants, schools and health care for low-income people. 2025 will also kick off WISDOM's "Organizing Revival" and efforts to double our capacity by 2026.
2024 Programs
Voter registration throughout Wisconsin via relational organizing, door-to-door canvassing, tabling, events, and outreach in congregations. Focused on people impacted by the criminal legal system, by the immigration system, and people connected to progressive faith communities.
Mission
WISDOM organizes people directly impacted by the criminal legal system, by the immigration system, and people connected to progressive faith communities. We are Black, white, Latinx and Native American. We work to build community, to empower leaders, and to bring about real change in the systems that impact especially marginalized communities.
