Jane Fonda Climate PAC (PAC)
Organization Description
Jane Fonda Climate PAC was founded by Jane Fonda and a team of legal and policy experts to combat the political influence of the fossil fuel industry and elect climate champions at all levels of government. JanePAC identifies races that will have a significant climate impact and deeply vets candidates to determine their climate record, the viability of their campaigns and their opponents' weaknesses. JanePAC supports its endorsed candidates with deep wraparound support including fundraising, event support, social media, earned media, volunteer recruitment, and field and digital organizing.
2026 Programs
In 2026, JanePAC is building a deep bench of climate champions at the state, county and local level. JanePAC is focused on winning control of several state legislative chambers where the balance of power is up for grabs, and electing climate champions in key down ballot positions such as county-level races in oil and gas producing states, public service commissions and utility boards. Due to ongoing threats to our democracy and planet, JanePAC is also working to elect Attorneys General, Governors and flip the US House in Congress.
2025 Programs
In the 2025 election cycle, JanePAC supported 79 climate champions and won 82% of those races. We grew Virginia's state legislative majorities, elected climate champions to the New Jersey state legislature, flipped the Luzerne County Council, elected the first Democratic District Attorney in Bucks County since 1891, helped pass Prop 50 in California and more. From city councils and school boards to state legislative seats, all the way to Congress, these wins reflect JanePAC’s continued commitment to electing leaders at every level of government who will stand up to corporate polluters and build power for our communities and our planet.
