Our theory of change is a year-round, consistent engagement with neglected voters around the issues that matter most to them and their communities. Young people and people of color in Pennsylvania often don’t see themselves represented in the political process and need to be engaged about how voting, consistently, can bring positive change to their daily lives. We move our strategies forward through the model of integrated voter engagement: deep local organizing, broad-scale state level advocacy, year-long civic engagement programs integrated with local organizing campaigns, strategic communications and digital organizing, amd multiple leadership pipelines through which we are able to move people from the first interaction to members, activists, and leaders. Our model moves people not just into “habitual” voters or activists, but conscious, strategic and visionary leaders who anchor our work to build statewide power, and ultimately, governing power.
