PowerMoves (c3)

Organization Description
PowerMoves is on a mission to build a more civil, just and inclusive society by helping people who are moving find communities where they will be happy, safe, and welcome – and where their votes will be powerful.
2025 Programs
We are developing and promoting a vote impact index fund that will link every US zip code to a Vote Impact score based on data from six elections (president, senate, house, governor, state senate, state assembly). Individuals can utilize it to understand how "powerful" their vote is where they currently live...and where it would be even more powerful. We are providing support and information for individuals who are moving because they no longer feel safe or welcome where they currently live, focusing on people moving for LGBTQ+ rights, access to reproductive health care, climate change and tax relief.
