Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia (PPAV) is a statewide advocacy organization whose mission is to preserve and broaden access to reproductive health care through legislation, public education, electoral activity and litigation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. PPAV works to ensure that individuals and families have the freedom, information, and ability to make their own informed reproductive choices.

In 2025, we’re fighting to secure reproductive freedom in Virginia by advancing a constitutional amendment to the 2026 ballot. We’ll grow and mobilize our supporter base across the commonwealth, elect champions who will expand the pro-reproductive freedom majority in the House of Delegates, and hold anti-abortion politicians accountable. Through our Planned Parenthood Generation Action college chapters, we’re building the next generation of leaders to defend and advance reproductive rights.
