Opportunity Arizona (c4)

Organization Description
We believe that by presenting a consistent message across many channels, with a variety of different ways to engage and plug in along the way, we can shift public opinion and awareness around issues of shared economic prosperity. We're creating public demand for a progressive economic policy agenda and building a public narrative that reaches Arizonans year round and inspires them to action in their communities, at the Capitol, and at the ballot.
2025 Programs
Public utilities have a rubber stamp from entirely Republican regulators at the Corporation Commission while Arizonans are left with skyrocketing power and natural gas bills. Voters are sensitive to rising electric bills but need education that they have a say in who is overseeing public utilities and can hold them accountable. Opportunity Arizona will expand our successful organizing campaigns at the Capitol with a uniquely economic message to hold corrupt commissioners accountable.
2024 Programs
Opportunity Arizona will run $2 to $3 million in paid communication persuasion campaigns for Arizona state legislative races through CTV/OTT, digital, mail, etc. For persuasion campaigns we target undecided likely voters and GOTV targets. We intend to translate our year-round organizing work to supplement turnout among our GOTV targets.
Mission
Opportunity Arizona builds political power by engaging and persuading voters. Our work strengthens policies that create opportunities for working class Arizonans to earn a dignified living wage.
