Cambio Texas's 2024 campaign seeks to engage youth and Latino communities in the Rio Grande Valley, promoting leadership that truly represents our needs. Through block walking, digital outreach, and texting, we aim to educate, navigate voting processes, and significantly increase voter turnout for more reflective representation in Texas.

Mission

CambioTexas is dedicated to transforming Texas into a beacon of progressive leadership and civic engagement. By empowering the youth, Latino, and other minority communities, we strive to elevate voter turnout and advocate for leadership that mirrors our state's diverse ethos. Charlotte Gaymers Network Inc. (c3)

In 2024, the Charlotte Gaymers Network will leverage our Gaymer Gathering events to educate and engage LGBTQ+ young adults in Charlotte, NC, on the importance of voting. Through interactive gaming sessions and workshops, we’ll provide voter registration assistance, policy education, and mobilization strategies, targeting a diverse community often underrepresented at the polls.

Mission

With a foundation in fostering unity through our shared enthusiasm for gaming—including board games, tabletop games, video games, and related social gatherings—CGN is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive space where individuals from various backgrounds can connect. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and extending into the surrounding areas, our organization not only prioritizes creating welcoming environments for meeting new friends but also actively engages in promoting civic participation among our members. As part of our mission, we aim to empower our diverse community to be informed, active participants in the democratic process, emphasizing the importance of voter engagement and advocacy on issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

OC Action (c4/PAC)

We will target Latinx, Filipinx, Korean and other voters of color. Primarily through doors, phones, texts, emails, and in-language digital and print, the engagement would focus on 20+ federal and local candidate races spanning from the 45th congressional district to a variety of progressive city council and school board candidates the engagement across Orange County. Across these districts, voters would be engaged around issues of immigrant rights, local language access resource, housing affordability, wage / worker experience, and more.

Mission

Orange County PAC builds the political power of our AAPI-Latinx-Labor-Environmental Justice Alliance to pass progressive legislation, elect candidates and co-govern with progressive elected officials to bring forth a progressive transformation in our county. Orange County PAC is a project of OC Action.

Orange County Environmental Justice (c3)

Organization Description

OCEJ is a fiscally sponsored project of OneOC and our mission is to advance environmental justice in the ancestral lands of the Acjachemen and Tongva Nations, now known as Orange County. Our goals include building a grassroots movement by training resident leaders, especially youth; expanding an engaged base of voters and activists; and forming coalitions with diverse community stakeholders. We aim to improve environmental quality in underserved communities by addressing issues like lead contamination in Santa Ana, soil and blood lead levels in residents, water quality in communities of color across OC, and the protection of local Indigenous sacred sites.

2025 Programs

As a fiscal project of OneOC, OCEJ’s 2025 programs will build off of the momentum of our past year’s accomplishments to expand our work across the region and create new coalitions to advance environmental justice in Orange County. Our priorities for this year include: expanding access to soil, water, and air testing in residential communities across Orange County; building support networks so communities can collectively respond to natural disasters and other emergencies; and finally, building leadership among Orange County low-income youth of color through our Defending the Sacred internship and summer organizing academy.
