1 Vote Counts is innovative in educating high-risk communities on issues that will impact their future, advocate environmental justice, foster social and judicial equity, and increase voter registration participation through door knocking, deep dive canvassing, texting, phone calls, social media and citizen advocacy. 1 Vote Counts provides services primarily to Pennsylvania’s Dauphin County, concentrating on the City of Harrisburg and its surrounding communities. We have an active Voter Registration Program in the County Prison.

1 Vote Counts educates high-risk communities, fostering growth and voter registration through grassroots efforts. Their vision envisions social change in Pennsylvania, ensuring electoral representation for all, including underserved communities and citizens returning from incarceration. Core values include removing voting obstacles, strengthening democracy through universal participation, and promoting government responsibility for all citizens, emphasizing community unity.

Mission

OUR MISSION is to educate at-risk communities, including returning citizens and, our youth on pertinent issues that will impact their future, as well as increase voters’ registration and participation through grassroots lobbying, educational seminars, and citizen advocacy. Our overall objective is to build a pipeline of young, committed BIPOC leaders to support, protect and serve the communities they live in. ​WE BELIEVE when all individuals are informed on issues that negatively impact their neighborhoods, they utilize the vote to make a positive change!

Activate America mobilizes volunteers to help Democrats win majorities in Congress. We’ve built a vast network of passionate volunteers and grassroots groups who participate in voter outreach. Through this network, both individuals and community-based groups can act locally while accessing top-notch scripts, tools, and targeted data. We value our volunteers as essential partners, not mere participants, earning us praise for providing the best volunteer experience.

2025 Programs

We recently launched The Multiplier Project, which aims to train thousands of organizers in the 18 most vulnerable GOP-held districts in the country. These organizers are going to throw up "speedbumps" to the Trump MAGA agenda trying to dismantle our democracy, destroy our economy, and strip the most vulnerable of essential services. Our goal is to make these vulnerable Republicans more scared of their constituents holding them accountable than of Trumo and his MAGA allies.

Allies for Democracy (Group)

Organization Description

Allies for Democracy is a group of grassroots activists based in Baltimore County, Maryland. Through strategic actions we champion freedom, diversity, and justice for all. From our local communities to the state and the region we work to stiffen the spines of our representatives in Washington, DC to stand up for progressive American values and refuse to obey the Project 2025 agenda in advance, but instead work to expand our coalition, and prepare to win elections in 2026 and 2028. Every one of our actions is shaped by our core principles: collaboration, non-violence, and the sense of joy and community.

2025 Programs

In 2025, we are hosting our Underground Supper Clubs - periodic potluck gatherings where 100 + activists and allies across Baltimore come together for food, conversation and camaraderie. These events energize people already engaged and welcome newcomers to participate in activities that defend our Democracy. Through multiple collaborations with local and national groups, we mobilize an increasing number of volunteers to join marches and rallies, meet with Congressional representatives, distribute flyers while dancing in public spaces, and more. We plan to start canvassing in South-Central Pennsylvania in the Fall, in preparation for the 2026 mid-term elections.

2024 Programs

Our "NO REGRETS 2024" campaign is a plan to wake up happy on November 6! Through weekly canvasses to swing districts we talk directly to the swing voters who will decide the general election. We provide volunteer training, materials, buddies, carpools and excellent downballot candidates that inspire people to vote.

Allies for Democracy works to defeat authoritarianism by mobilizing voters in swing states to vote for Democratic candidates.

BMVH has partnered with Bethlehem NY Indivisible to form WeGOTV.NY. Since 2020 we have written 70,000 letters to swing states and thousands of postcards to voters to get out the vote. We engage our supporters through bi-monthly writing parties, home parties, and a network of letter distribution locations throughout the Albany capital district.

We meet weekly to educate ourselves and organize actions to affect change in our communities, state, and nation. We evaluate and support candidates who align with our values. California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) builds political power to solve the climate crisis and advance environmental justice. We work to elect climate champions, pass bold policies, and hold lawmakers accountable to ensure California leads with equity, urgency, and impact. Through advocacy, public education, and coalition building, we push for a just transition to clean energy, protect communities from pollution, and invest in those most affected by climate change. Our vision is a healthier, more equitable future powered by people and grounded in climate action that works for all.

2025 Programs

In 2025, California Environmental Voters will focus on four core areas. Our global leadership work will position California as the leading U.S. voice on international climate action, building global partnerships, and advancing initiatives like the UN’s 30x30 conservation goals. We will defend landmark climate wins through a litigation strategy in collaboration with state and local legal partners. Our state action efforts will advance bold legislation to hold polluters accountable, expand clean energy, and prioritize equity. Through strategic communications work, we will counter anti-environmental narratives and strengthen public support for climate action.

2024 Programs

California Environmental Voters builds the political power to solve the climate crisis while advancing justice. We prioritize building power in regions on the frontlines of climate impacts, and with the least representation and lowest voter turnout. In 2024, we will do so through direct voter outreach in coordination with campaigns, and complimentary direct mail, texting, paid ads, and earned media programs.

With over 155,000 lifetime members across 46 US states, CASA is a national powerhouse organization building power and improving the quality of life in working-class, Black, Latino/a/e, Afro-descendent, Indigenous, and Immigrant communities. CASA creates change with its powerbuilding model blending human services, community organizing, and advocacy in order to serve the full spectrum of the needs, dreams, and aspirations of members.

2025 Programs

We plan to engage in membership protection. We aim to safeguard our members by providing resources such as the 24-hour hotline which will be for members being targeted by ICE, Know Your Rights training to inform our members of their constitutional rights when approached by ICE, and our Narrative Change work where we will highlight and personify immigrant stories to fight the damaging narrative being spread by main-stream media. Additionally, we will run a non-partisan deep canvassing program to have one-on-one conversations with working class immigrants, and properly understand the elections results while educating them on legislative matters.

2024 Programs

CASA’s voter registration is primarily site-based, with our field team of canvassers engaging with the community at public locations amenable to registering our target voters, such as shops, groceries, places of worship, etc. Our canvass team are at least trilingual, comprising a mix of team members who speak English, Spanish, and French.

CASA in Action will be engaging in: 1. State-based advocacy in GA, MD, PA, VA. 2. Non-partisan voter engagement around state and local elections in VA and PA. This will include GOTV, VBM pushes, and, in all our states, deep canvassing. 3. Partisan voter engagement in the same state, especially focused on the Gubernatorial General Election in Virginia.

CASA in Action turns out voters based on democracy-defense organizing, non-partisan voter canvassing, partisan voter canvassing to advocate for our member-endorsed candidates, and community-tailored communications. Our strength lies in community trust, cultural competency, and the leadership provided by our working-class, immigrant membership.

Organization Description

The Center for Common Ground is non-partisan, Black and women-led voting rights organization founded in 2018. We work in voter suppression states where more than 20% of voters are voters of color – Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. Collaborating with local partners, we strive to mobilize ALL voters of color, both those who consistently participate in elections and those who have yet to exercise their right to vote.

2025 Programs

As a Virginia based organization we are laser focused on Virginia elections. We will be sending postcards, making phone calls, canvassing and texting. Because so many people in our community are hurt first and worst by the current Administration plans we are now providing mutual aid in most of our Democracy Centers. Additionally, we are building an Integrated Election Management Platform which will revolutionize Field Management.

Citizen Action of New York is a statewide multi-issue organization organized in seven regions. We connect grassroots power to electoral power holding representatives accountable by engaging BIPOC communities through direct voter outreach like door to door, phone, and deep canvassing with the express purpose of addressing economic and racial inequalities.

To achieve our vision, we fight for social, racial, economic and environmental justice. We are battling against the forces of capitalism and racism that show themselves through inequality and bigotry, and work together to oppress most people. Core Community Blueprint is a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing civic engagement, reflective democracy, and equitable policy change. We empower historically marginalized communities through education, advocacy, and organizing. By working across issues like voting rights, family caregiving, special needs support, and economic equity, we build bridges between community voices and decision-makers. 2025 Programs

In 2025, Core Community Blueprint will focus on advancing the Pennsylvania Voting Rights Act through legislative advocacy, town halls, and coalition-building. We will expand our Reflective Democracy work with voter education, power mapping, and civic engagement training. Our Family Support initiatives will continue to uplift Special Needs Families and Family Caregivers through peer networks, policy advocacy, and public forums. Additionally, we will lead Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts across Dauphin, Lancaster, and York counties, targeting historically underrepresented voters through canvassing, digital outreach, and strategic partnerships. Our work centers equity, representation, and lasting community impact.

Our voters get detailed information on when and where they can vote early, the rules for mailing an absentee ballot in their state, and where they can vote on election day. We work with on-the-ground partners to develop messaging tailored for each community.

Mission

I have purchased over 350k postcards and stamps to insure that BIPOC voters in voter suppression states get the information they need to be able to cast their vote. Our information is non partisan and gives info re/what to bring, where to vote, when to vote. Our outreach goes deeply into the communities that are ignored by most every other campaign.

Our focus for 2025-2026 will be in two phases. 2025: We will build a strong organizing/power-building infrastructure around our inclusive education campaign, and signature gathering + narrative change work for a progressive tax ballot initiative, done in close partnership and coalition with other progressive organizations. 2026: Continue organizing for both campaigns, get progressive tax on the ballot. Voter engagement and coalition strategy to retake the state house, protect the senate, and elect progressive governor.

Mission

Rising Voices Fund exists to: -Promote the civic participation of Asian American women and families in Michigan, with particular emphasis on underrepresented communities, in electoral and public policy processes at all levels. -Educate the Asian American community and communities at large about policies that improve the well-being of Asian American women and families such as policies related to immigration, immigrant rights, family economic security issues, health disparities, gender violence, and other intersectional social justice issues; Provide opportunities for youth leadership by activating and uplifting Asian American women and youth voices in all spaces; and -Serve as an organizing resource for Asian American women and families with the promotion of co-liberatory practices, seeking partnerships and deep engagement with groups serving communities of color and intersectional community organizing work.

2025 Programs

MLCV will develop a democracy outreach plan for 2025 municipal and 2026 midterm elections that includes earned and paid media, in-person voter education, relationship-building, clerk engagement, civics education, and rapid response measures. It will also research, test, and elevate messaging that more effectively inspires voters in low-turnout districts to vote while engaging youth at college campuses. Plans will be coordinated with coalition partners to drive a dynamic, pro-environment voter effort in 2025 and 2026.

MLCV is scaling current canvassing efforts to train youth organizers through their intensive “Our Water Activist” program and by coordinating with Student Organizations on targeted campuses, empowering youth leaders with the skills, resources and training they need to organize and mobilize their peers to vote for pro-climate/democracy champions.

Building on its 2024 successes, MoveIndigo is now implementing both its National and New York campaigns. MoveIndigo’s National Campaign helps Democratic voters who are already moving (an estimated six million annually!) to discover desirable toss-up districts across the country where their votes will be game changers. MoveIndigo’s New York Campaign encourages NYC and other blue-district Democrats who have second homes in toss-up districts in New York State to register to vote in those districts.

2025 Programs

In 2025 we are working to keep momentum from the 2024 General, engaging voters in the Lincoln and Omaha municipal elections, funding and supporting off-cycle relationship building in other communities. We are also anticipating fights against Winner-Take-All electoral voting and rights for transgender youth participating in sports and other activities. We will leverage the data we obtained about our universe through the 2024 ballot initiatives to re-engage voters who still care deeply about these issues.

In 2024 we are supporting a collaborative VR/GOTV initiative of five Member orgs knocking doors to mobilize voters in low turnout neighborhoods in North and South Omaha (CD2), increasing voter participation through increased voter registration and education.

Our multi-year voter engagement program continues, with a goal of expanding the electorate to better reflect Virginia’s rich diversity. An outreach plan with a goal of increased turnout among working class people of color will require robust direct voter contact through canvassing, phone, mail and social media strategies. Based on previous successes, such a program will include a multi-touch door-to-door program layered with phone calls and mail, and a robust social media and digital organizing strategy.

This funding supported a small board of community organizers to begin making steps towards an established and recognized organization. Our 2024 program energizes voters through Rock The Vote showcases, pop-up polling concerts, urban campaign videos, and radio campaigns. We host candidate forums, develop social media PSAs, and create simplified voting resources. Additionally, we use QR-coded materials and gaming competitions to educate and register voters both online and in person.

Mission

We’re a community based nonprofit radio station who mission is to address all community needs. This is what we have done since our existence on internet station 1690am The One (2009) and terrestrial station 95.7fm The Boss (2014) respectfully. Omaha Community Broadcasting (OCB) created a “Community Access Radio” programming format to inform, cultivate, educate and broadcasts local shows that are comprised of individuals, health organizations, non-profits, businesses, ministries, culture, politics and eduction. We created localism by featuring community-based artists and talk shows that addressed critical topics that bridge our diverse perspectives and ideas.

Simultaneously, we will train Youth Leaders on their local representatives, preparing them to engage and educate local residents about down-ballot candidates. Youth Leaders will also conduct voter outreach through tabling during the week of October 28, 2024, to encourage voter turnout.

Poder Latinx is a civic and social justice organization. Our vision is to build sustained civic engagement across the Latinx community, to become decision-makers by participating in our country’s democracy. We do this by running a non-partisan voter engagement program, issue-based campaigns, leadership development, voting reform and protection initiatives, and narrative change work in Arizona, California, Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Washington State. Poder Latinx is strategically positioned to empower the Latinx community, fostering a resilient progressive voting bloc through our Integrated Voter Engagement (IVE) framework. This model is grounded in six pillars: recruiting community members, fostering professional and leadership growth, executing comprehensive voter engagement throughout the electoral cycle, refining Latinx voter databases, achieving issue-based victories, and pioneering narrative and cultural shifts.

2024 Programs

Poder Latinx targets 57,000 new and low-propensity Latinx voters through a canvassing program including door knocks, calls, and texts. Our leadership development program focuses on cultivating 25 new Latina leaders and our community organizing aims to expand our base by 5,200 members.

Poder Latinx is a civic and social justice organization. Our vision is to build political power for the Latinx community to become decision-makers in our country’s democracy and win on economic, immigrant, and environmental issues. Our mission is to build a sustained voting bloc of Latinxs in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Washington. 2024 Programs

Troy’s Precinct Delegate Committee continues to refine our voter outreach program, reaching our voters with Dem scores of 40% and higher through creative messaging and literature designs. We knock doors, text, send postcards, and phone our voters, aiming to increase voter turnout through education on voting laws and options.

Mission

The Precinct Delegate Committee is part of the Troy Democratic Club in Troy, Michigan. The Committee recruits, trains, and organizes official Precinct Delegates and volunteers to inform and educate our voters. We focus on turning out all voters, making sure our residents know their options on where to vote, absentee ballots, and early voting availability (especially important now to ease any confusion over newly implemented state voting laws), and important issues on upcoming ballots. Post-primary, we also create and provide detailed slate cards for voters on candidates up and down ballot and issues supported by our parent Democratic Club, as well as do absentee ballot chasing. Our main goal is to continue increasing voter turnout.

Our mission is to provide a strong credible voice that holds public officials and government accountable, assists in the promotion of progressive ideas and uses state-of-the-art web based new media to creatively build grassroots support for progressive ideas. Progress Michigan works as a communications team and media hub for the entire progressive community. We’re a marketing department for progressive ideas – a campaign that never stops. Now is the time to seize upon suburban women’s visceral opposition to Republican attacks on their freedom, their children, and democracy. RWB is doing just that through our year-round relational organizing program. We build community and tap the networks of women in our community to reach voters we need to win.

Mission

Red Wine & Blue has built hyper-local organizing infrastructure and culturally-relevant communications that engages diverse suburban women where they are, supports them to represent their views, and doesn't go away. We seize moments of opportunity to achieve policy wins, but most importantly, we are building a community that ensures suburban women become a permanent fixture in the movement for a multiracial democracy. RWB has grown into a community of nearly half a million women by providing a welcoming pathway to political engagement for women of all political backgrounds – including many who have never been political before.

Silver Spring Progressive Action (PAC)

Organization Description

We are an all-volunteer organization that exists to take meaningful action to tip tight elections blue nationwide. This includes letter-writing, phonebanking, canvassing and deep canvassing, fundraising, social media, and more - all in support of candidates in the tightest elections and in support of voting rights and access. We work at to elect candidates for state legislatures and other state offices such as secretaries of state, governors, Congress, and President (in swing states). We are guilt-free, data-based, and believe that changing who is in power is the best way to affect our future.

2025 Programs

In keeping with our overall goal of tipping tight elections blue, our goals for 2025 are to: 1) Win the Wisconsin Supreme Court election thereby maintaining the liberal majority; 2) Flip the Virginia governorship and maintain the Democratic majority in the Virginia House of Delegates; 3) Develop new approaches to reach and persuade voters more effectively, including a) developing training to increase volunteer effectiveness and b) nurturing innovative communication tactics and communicators; and 4) Prepare for the 2026 midterms by identifying and acting on opportunities in likely swing states and districts.

Sister District Advocacy Network (SDAN) furthers the common good and general welfare of the community through programs designed to achieve the following goals: educating Americans about the role of state legislatures and the potential for state legislative policy to impact the lives of individuals and communities, increasing public trust in state legislatures, promoting greater representativeness of state legislators, and building opportunities for community-centered civic engagement. By increasing trust, representativeness, and civic engagement, SDAN will improve the quality of public policy passed by state legislatures and the trust in state government, to the benefit of all Americans.

2025 Programs

Our narrative change and storytelling program creates, measures, and disseminates compelling content and messages about the power and promise of state policy. Our research program investigates, measures and reports on crucial trends at the state legislative level, including the composition and reflectiveness of state legislatures, voter participation in state elections, and state legislative electoral outcomes over time. Our State Bridges program will raise funds for 501(C)(3) organizations running year round nonpartisan organizing programs in their local communities.

Supports Democrats running for competitive state legislative seats, where precision investments can close narrow margins and win entire chambers. We “sister” our local volunteers with endorsed candidates, bringing capacity for phonebanking, fundraising, and more. We complement this with campaign services, rooted in research and tailored to the district.

Swing Blue Alliance (Group)

Organization Description

Swing Blue Alliance is the largest all-volunteer, Democratic grassroots organization headquartered in Massachusetts. In partnership with organizations in swing states, we develop evidence-based programs to protect our democracy, work on competitive local and national elections, and strengthen the Democratic Party at the grassroots level. We’re presently working on five strategic initiatives for 2025 and beyond.

The five working groups are: 1) 2025/2026 Elections: Mobilize resources to win races in WI, VA and key 2026 districts. 2) Countering Right Wing Media: Combat disinformation and amplify progressive voices. 3) Oppose the Trump Agenda: Push back against extremist policies. Defend democracy. 4) Reform the Democratic Party. 5) Strengthen Grassroots Networks.

In addition to running our own voter registration trips, we help Democratic committees and other grassroots group identify the most promising precincts for hotspot and door-to-door voter registration. We acquire lists of unregistered people and check them against other databases, including the registered voter file. We use this information to create walk lists.

Mission

Swing Blue Alliance is the largest organization of its kind headquartered in Massachusetts. We are the only organization that has a research department that runs randomized control trials.

We focus on executing statewide strategies to inform Pennsylvanians about safe, secure, and convenient ways to vote. We will run a layered vote-by-mail recruitment and education program that includes mail, phones, texts, digital, and possibly radio and streaming or TV ads. Our universe consists of low-propensity and historically disenfranchised Pennsylvanians.

Mission

The Voter Project and The Voter Project Fund’s goal is to ensure that every Pennsylvania voter, especially those who have been historically disenfranchised, is able to cast a ballot in a safe, secure, and convenient way. We lead Pennsylvania’s voting rights community in implementing changes to election law, fighting back against attempts to make voting more difficult, and informing Pennsylvanians about the ways they can cast a ballot and make their voices heard.

We focus on executing statewide strategies to inform Pennsylvanians about safe, secure, and convenient ways to vote. We will run a layered vote-by-mail recruitment and education program that includes mail, phones, texts, digital, and possibly radio and streaming or TV ads. Our universe consists of low-propensity and historically disenfranchised Pennsylvanians.

Mission

The Voter Project and The Voter Project Fund’s goal is to ensure that every Pennsylvania voter, especially those who have been historically disenfranchised, is able to cast a ballot in a safe, secure, and convenient way. We lead Pennsylvania’s voting rights community in implementing changes to election law, fighting back against attempts to make voting more difficult, and informing Pennsylvanians about the ways they can cast a ballot and make their voices heard.

TurnUp (Turnout Activism Inc.) (c3)

Organization Description

TurnUp's youth-led voter registration and turnout program targets competitive states and congressional districts. We conduct paid student-led on-campus voter registration and turnout drives at high schools and low-turnout community college campuses; relational voter registration and turnout programs targeting unregistered and low-propensity young voters; an educational internship program empowering youth to conduct text-banking, phone-banking, and canvassing; and innovative digital activities reminding young people to register and vote. Since 2019, we have registered over 400,000 young voters, texted 35 million young voters, talked to 900,000 young voters via phone, and graduated 13,000 youth from our internship program.

2025 Programs

In 2025, TurnUp is focused on registering 170,000 young people to vote in key states and congressional districts for the 2026 elections and beyond. We are also registering and turning out young voters in the VA and PA elections. TurnUp is organizing the following programs to accomplish these goals paid student-led on-campus voter registration and turnout drives at high schools and low-turnout community college campuses; relational voter registration and turnout programs targeting unregistered and low-propensity young voters; an educational internship program empowering youth to conduct text-banking, phone-banking, and canvassing; and digital activities reminding young people to register and vote.

2024 Programs

TurnUp's Youth-led GOTV program targets low-turnout community college campuses and low-propensity young voters. The program engages over 18,000 young interns, on-campus organizers, and relational organizers to utilize the following strategies: on-campus GOTV events, relational GOTV campaigns, canvassing, phone-banking, and text-banking.

Mission

We’re on a mission to strengthen democracy by increasing high impact youth civic action and closing the gap between young people who want to take civic action and those who actually take action. TurnUp includes five integrated programs that work together to increase youth voter 
registration and turnout: the internship training program; online program; on campus and relational voter registration and turnout program; mobile app; and ideas incubator. Our goal is to increase youth voter registration and turnout, and build the most active, educated, organized, and powerful network of young progressive activists across the Nation

UNITE HERE Action Fund (c4/PAC)

UNITE HERE Action Fund will promote and increase the electoral participation of low propensity voters – primarily working class and people of color – in Virginia and New Jersey by having UNITE HERE union members canvass them to identify issues and key challenges facing them, draw out what messages are most motivating, and educate them on how to vote.

2024 Programs

The hospitality workers union, UNITE HERE Action Fund, is launching an ambitious field program in 2024 in Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. UNITE HERE operates the nation’s largest labor-led canvassing program, with canvassers who are union members—workers talking to working-class voters about their fight to protect their livelihoods and their country.

The purpose of the UNITE HERE Action Fund is to assist hospitality workers, other working people and their families to achieve economic, social, and racial justice through education and advocacy, leadership development, and full participation in civic life. UFR will expand our organizing power to push back against harmful policies impacting workers. Our Georgia worker organizing and civic participation program has had wins to improve workplace conditions, including securing clean water, working restrooms, and wage increases. This will serve as a model we’ll scale nationally and across targeted geographies (Michigan, California) to build a multiracial base of working class voters who are shifting the narrative around their grueling working conditions, and impacting elections.

Our core offerings include Code Club, Girl Math, Dear Future Me, Sisterhood is a Vibe, and our signature You Go Girl: Lead the Way leadership series. These programs are delivered in schools and community spaces through a train-the-trainer model that prioritizes equity and empowerment. We are also expanding our voter education and after-school initiatives to help young people discover their voice, build confidence, and take action in their communities.
