1 Vote Counts is innovative in educating high-risk communities on issues that will impact their future, advocate environmental justice, foster social and judicial equity, and increase voter registration participation through door knocking, deep dive canvassing, texting, phone calls, social media and citizen advocacy. 1 Vote Counts provides services primarily to Pennsylvania’s Dauphin County, concentrating on the City of Harrisburg and its surrounding communities. We have an active Voter Registration Program in the County Prison.

1 Vote Counts educates high-risk communities, fostering growth and voter registration through grassroots efforts. Their vision envisions social change in Pennsylvania, ensuring electoral representation for all, including underserved communities and citizens returning from incarceration. Core values include removing voting obstacles, strengthening democracy through universal participation, and promoting government responsibility for all citizens, emphasizing community unity.

Mission

OUR MISSION is to educate at-risk communities, including returning citizens and, our youth on pertinent issues that will impact their future, as well as increase voters’ registration and participation through grassroots lobbying, educational seminars, and citizen advocacy. Activate America mobilizes volunteers to help Democrats win majorities in Congress. We’ve built a vast network of passionate volunteers and grassroots groups who participate in voter outreach. Through this network, both individuals and community-based groups can act locally while accessing top-notch scripts, tools, and targeted data. 2025 Programs

We recently launched The Multiplier Project, which aims to train thousands of organizers in the 18 most vulnerable GOP-held districts in the country. These organizers are going to throw up "speedbumps" to the Trump MAGA agenda trying to dismantle our democracy, destroy our economy, and strip the most vulnerable of essential services. Our goal is to make these vulnerable Republicans more scared of their constituents holding them accountable than of Trumo and his MAGA allies.

Aliento Education Fund (c3)

2025 Programs

Aliento will develop content to strengthen connections between school districts, families, and students. For example, Aliento organized large-scale mobilization efforts at Arizona State University, bringing 1,000 students in solidarity with DREAMers facing targeted opposition. Advocacy efforts focus on protecting legal and educational rights, including Plyler v. Doe and Proposition 308, which grants in-state tuition to DREAMers. Aliento will continue to implement Know Your Rights (KYR) trainings, college readiness workshops, and arts and healing workshops.

2024 Programs

Aliento targets young people (18-35), Latinxs, and immigrant supporters through phone banking, canvassing, relational organizing, and social media and digital ads. Through storytelling, Aliento educates on the importance of voting, candidate knowledge, and stances on immigration issues. Aliento incorporates personal narratives and economic data to engage low-propensity and disenfranchised voters.

Mission

Aliento serves undocumented, DACA, and mixed immigration status families to transform trauma into hope and action. We are youth-led and directly impacted people and allies who are invested in the well-being, emotional healing, and leadership development of those impacted by the inequities of lacking an immigration status.

Organization Description

With over 155,000 lifetime members across 46 US states, CASA is a national powerhouse organization building power and improving the quality of life in working-class, Black, Latino/a/e, Afro-descendent, Indigenous, and Immigrant communities. CASA creates change with its powerbuilding model blending human services, community organizing, and advocacy in order to serve the full spectrum of the needs, dreams, and aspirations of members.

2025 Programs

We plan to engage in membership protection. We aim to safeguard our members by providing resources such as the 24-hour hotline which will be for members being targeted by ICE, Know Your Rights training to inform our members of their constitutional rights when approached by ICE, and our Narrative Change work where we will highlight and personify immigrant stories to fight the damaging narrative being spread by main-stream media. CASA’s voter registration is primarily site-based, with our field team of canvassers engaging with the community at public locations amenable to registering our target voters, such as shops, groceries, places of worship, etc. Our canvass team are at least trilingual, comprising a mix of team members who speak English, Spanish, and French.

Our work has two parts. During the year, we primarily focus on educating the public about climate action and base buildings to increase our volunteer numbers. For the Maryland team, January through April is our legislative action season. For 2025, our legislative priorities are the RENEW Act- Maryland's Climate Superfund bill, a bill to electrify new construction in Maryland, and the clean energy legislation sponsored by Delegate Lorig Charkoudian.

Our top priorities for 2025 are focused on local elections that disproportionately impact immigrant communities through city and county policies. We are specifically looking at the Aurora City Council, which is the origin of rumors that brought hateful rhetoric and then-candidate Trump himself to Aurora. We would also like to build upon our voter engagement efforts in Thornton, Commerce City, and Westminster (CD 08 overlap) from 2021 and 2023. In 2026, our top priority is CD 08 with a focus on engaging voters on the issue of immigration.

2024 Programs

In 2024, CIRC Action Fund is planning to lead a nonpartisan and partisan electoral program in Congressional District 8 and Congressional District 3, primarily in Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, El Paso, Jefferson, and Pueblo counties. We will target low-propensity BIPOC voters through door knocking, texts, and mailers.

El Pueblo will continue efforts in GOTV, voter education, and newcomer support. We aim to increase Latine voter registration and turnout in 2026. El Pueblo will also support individuals seeking U.S. citizenship, continuing collaborations with the Mexican Consulate and USCIS. Organization Description

The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights was founded in 1996 by Van Jones and Diana Frappier. Throughout our history, we have engaged in campaigns related to civic engagement, violence prevention, the green jobs movement, juvenile justice, and police brutality.

2026 Programs

In 2026, the Ella Baker Center (EBC) will navigate a volatile political landscape shaped by elections, shrinking social safety nets, and growing attacks on reform. EBC will focus on defending past wins, expanding parole and youth justice work, deepening civic engagement, and building community knowledge of their rights. With limited legislative openings, EBC aims to strengthen policy implementation, amplify safety narratives, and advance people-powered strategies through the Emergent Strategy Lab. Priorities include new reports on RJA and parole, expanded inside organizing, and grounding local leadership in Oakland communities to sustain the movement for safety, freedom, and collective power.

2025 Programs

In 2025, the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights (EBC) is building grassroots power to advance real community safety rooted in care, not punishment. Led by systems-impacted people, EBC’s core programs include expanding membership and youth organizing, advancing justice policies shaped by incarcerated voices, and defending against tough-on-crime attacks. Key initiatives include Racial Justice Act implementation, the Inside/Outside Policy Fellowship, and the statewide prison mail program. Through Restore Oakland and the new Emergent Strategy Lab, EBC is cultivating visionary leadership and research to close prisons, expand democracy, and create lasting safety through community investment and liberation.

FANM works toward an inclusive, equitable, and a just society for all. FANM’s mission is to train, educate, organize and mobilize grassroots citizens from the bottom up. We give them the tools to contribute to their own transformation, enfranchisement, and liberation. Family Action Network Movement (FANM) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the social, economic, financial and political empowerment of low to moderate-income families to give them the tools to transform their communities. FANM serves 10,000 families per year through direct services such as mental health, domestic violence intervention, adult education and financial literacy, access to health care, immigration services and advocacy, after school and youth leadership programs, community economic development. Organization Description

GALEO is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2003. GALEO strives for a better Georgia where the Latinx community is engaged civically. 2025 Programs

Voter Registration and Civic Engagement: Between 2025 and 2026, we will register 2,000 voters and support them in their voter education and voter engagement activities. We will also run 24 Know Your Rights and/or Community Town Halls to educate and engage our community. We will host a monthly podcast to reach Latinos throughout the state, so they are fully informed. Leadership Development: Our GIL program’s popularity has increased exponentially since the 2024 Presidential Election. During the next two years, we will accommodate the increased demand in our traditional program and expand our “El Pueblos Unido” civic engagement program.

The GALEO Impact Fund was established in 2019 to help organize the Latino community's growing political power in Georgia. 2025 Programs

In 2025, we plan to do c3/c4 nonpartisan Know Your Rights efforts in Q1/Q2. Our goal for the KYR is to have 24 community town halls, informational sessions, and/or virtual gatherings in 2025. Additionally, we will build up the audience in the revamped podcast to include 300 views and social media following. We are focusing on KYR, Immigration, Executive Orders, potential legislation that can impact our community, and leadership in the podcast to continue to educate and empower our community. Our podcast provides access to our community to subject matter experts and legislators who directly impact their lives.

Mission

Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA) organizes low- and moderate-income and minority families to take action on the issues most important to them and advance the cause of social and economic justice for all. Working in collaboration with its sister organization, ACE, LUCHA incorporates leadership development with grassroots issue-based campaigns, advocacy, and civic engagement to create an Arizona in which every resident has an equal voice in determining the policies and shaping the decision-making bodies that will govern our communal life.

National Domestic Workers Alliance Inc. (c3)

NDWA is dedicated to advancing domestic and care workers' rights nationwide. In 2025, we’ll prioritize Medicaid funding, defend gained worker wages, and counter anti-immigration policies. At state and local levels, we’ll advance the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights, data collection for HCBS policy advocacy, and initiatives to deliver the most impactful resources in this shifting political landscape. Additionally, NDWA will bolster worker protections, expand digital organizing, and enhance our rapid response networks.

Our civic engagement program is focused on educating voters about care and turning out women of color voters in Sunbelt states, where care and domestic workers have traditionally been left behind, and which is often home to areas with the worst care crisis in the nation.

Mission

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) works for respect, recognition, and rights for the more than 2.2 million nannies, house cleaners, and home care workers who do the essential work of caring for our loved ones and our homes. Driven by domestic workers’ priorities, NDWA is working to catalyze a paradigm shift in the way domestic work is understood, valued, and compensated to ensure that these much-needed jobs are good jobs with dignity, economic security, and labor protections. NDWA is a non-partisan charitable organization and does not endorse, support, or oppose any candidate for public office.

2025 Programs

In 2025 we are working to keep momentum from the 2024 General, engaging voters in the Lincoln and Omaha municipal elections, funding and supporting off-cycle relationship building in other communities. We are also anticipating fights against Winner-Take-All electoral voting and rights for transgender youth participating in sports and other activities. We will leverage the data we obtained about our universe through the 2024 ballot initiatives to re-engage voters who still care deeply about these issues.

We work collaboratively with members to conduct year-round civic engagement efforts. In 2024 we are supporting a collaborative VR/GOTV initiative of five Member orgs knocking doors to mobilize voters in low turnout neighborhoods in North and South Omaha (CD2), increasing voter participation through increased voter registration and education.

Centering marginalized communities and communities of color in our organizing and advocacy work, and encouraging and empowering them to be more civically engaged has always been a part of our major strategies. We move our strategies forward through the model of integrated voter engagement: deep local organizing, broad-scale state level advocacy, year-long civic engagement programs integrated with local organizing campaigns, strategic communications and digital organizing, and multiple leadership pipelines through which we are able to move people from the first interaction to members, activists, and leaders.

We will have a multi-layered voter contact program that includes face-to-face canvassing, phone calls, text messages, and mail pieces tailored to the issues they care about. Organization Description

OCEJ is a fiscally sponsored project of OneOC and our mission is to advance environmental justice in the ancestral lands of the Acjachemen and Tongva Nations, now known as Orange County. Our goals include building a grassroots movement by training resident leaders, especially youth; expanding an engaged base of voters and activists; and forming coalitions with diverse community stakeholders. We aim to improve environmental quality in underserved communities by addressing issues like lead contamination in Santa Ana, soil and blood lead levels in residents, water quality in communities of color across OC, and the protection of local Indigenous sacred sites.

As a fiscal project of OneOC, OCEJ’s 2025 programs will build off of the momentum of our past year’s accomplishments to expand our work across the region and create new coalitions to advance environmental justice in Orange County. Our priorities for this year include: expanding access to soil, water, and air testing in residential communities across Orange County; building support networks so communities can collectively respond to natural disasters and other emergencies; and finally, building leadership among Orange County low-income youth of color through our Defending the Sacred internship and summer organizing academy.

Texas Organizing Project (c4)

Organization Description

TOP, founded in 2009, organizes Black and Latino communities in Dallas, Harris and Bexar counties with the goal of transforming Texas into a state where working people of color have the power and representation they deserve. Our greatest strength is the more than 350,000 members and supporters who help lead our direct-action organizing, grassroots lobbying, and electoral organizing. At TOP we fight with two fists. We organize around issue-­based campaigns, winning tangible improvements for our communities. We then mobilize our members and supporters around electoral campaigns, effectively increasing voter participation in communities that historically have had low voting rates.

2026 Programs

One of our organizational priorities in 2025 is the preparation and ramp up to the 2026 electoral season, particularly conducting endorsements processes. As we do every election cycle, our membership plans to conduct a robust endorsement process for candidates running for office in the March 2026 primaries. The endorsement process consists of preparing questionnaires, inviting candidates to fill out the questionnaire, and inviting candidates in person to conduct interviews with our members. If candidates align with our values and priorities, TOP leaders will vote to endorse.

We are organizing working class Black and Latino communities in our core counties around our issue campaigns. We are also ramping up to the 2026 elections. Texas Organizing Project Education Fund (c3)

Organization Description

TOPEF is an explicitly pro-Black organization with the mission of improving the lives of working class Black and Latino Texans building power through community organizing and civic engagement in the three largest metro areas (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio). Leadership development is the cornerstone of TOPEF’s organizing model. We develop networks of community leaders and organized residents, equipping them to address the issues they identify, increasing their power in decision making and the electoral process. Our current issue campaigns, determined by our community members, include access to healthcare, economic justice, affordable and quality housing, criminal legal reform, and immigrants’ rights.

2026 Programs

In 2026, we will shift our organizing model to focus on two campaigns, access to affordable healthcare and legal reform (both criminal and immigration systems). This shift is pivotal in our organization reacting to the times we are in and our reflection on what is needed to shift Texas into a state that works for everyone - not just a select few in the changing landscape. We will continue to conduct leadership development and building our base of Black and Latino Texans interested in creating aTexas that works for all, no matter our race, income, or language we speak.

2025 Programs

In 2025, we continue organizing working class Black and Latino communities in our core counties within our current priority issue campaigns. We are also conducting outreach within our communities to identify a new single issue campaign with enough momentum to galvanize our communities and shift the power dynamics in Texas away from the monied interests and back into the hands of the people. We are conducting this in-depth leadership development on topics including organizing best practices, political education, data and research analysis, racial capitalism (what it means, what it looks like in today’s economy, how to counteract it), and others.

TOP PAC runs one of the largest (independent) grassroots field operations in the state focusing on candidates and issues based on TOP’s endorsement processes of our grassroot leaders. Our programs will target unlikely Black and Latino voters in our priority counties, Dallas, Tarrant, Harris, Fort Bend, amongst others. We will likely engage in the County Judge races, District Attorney races and experiment with some engagement in South Texas. We are currently mapping out our plan for 2026.

2025 Programs

We are preparing for the midterm elections and plan to engage in local, state and potentially federal races. Due to the unprecedented redistricting in Texas, we expect to have competitive primaries at the state level, in newly formed congressional districts, as well as for Bexar County DA and County Judge (executive at large position) in Harris County, the largest, most populous county in Texas. Our GOTV program will likely target unlikely, infrequent, newer voters, and newly registered voters. Many of these voters are people that we have built relationships with over time through our year-round organizing and across election cycles.

Organization Description

TurnUp's youth-led voter registration and turnout program targets competitive states and congressional districts. We conduct paid student-led on-campus voter registration and turnout drives at high schools and low-turnout community college campuses; relational voter registration and turnout programs targeting unregistered and low-propensity young voters; an educational internship program empowering youth to conduct text-banking, phone-banking, and canvassing; and innovative digital activities reminding young people to register and vote. Since 2019, we have registered over 400,000 young voters, texted 35 million young voters, talked to 900,000 young voters via phone, and graduated 13,000 youth from our internship program.

2025 Programs

In 2025, TurnUp is focused on registering 170,000 young people to vote in key states and congressional districts for the 2026 elections and beyond. We are also registering and turning out young voters in the VA and PA elections. TurnUp is organizing the following programs to accomplish these goals paid student-led on-campus voter registration and turnout drives at high schools and low-turnout community college campuses; relational voter registration and turnout programs targeting unregistered and low-propensity young voters; an educational internship program empowering youth to conduct text-banking, phone-banking, and canvassing; and digital activities reminding young people to register and vote.

2024 Programs

TurnUp's Youth-led GOTV program targets low-turnout community college campuses and low-propensity young voters. The program engages over 18,000 young interns, on-campus organizers, and relational organizers to utilize the following strategies: on-campus GOTV events, relational GOTV campaigns, canvassing, phone-banking, and text-banking.

UFR will expand our organizing power to push back against harmful policies impacting workers. Our Georgia worker organizing and civic participation program has had wins to improve workplace conditions, including securing clean water, working restrooms, and wage increases. This will serve as a model we’ll scale nationally and across targeted geographies (Michigan, California) to build a multiracial base of working class voters who are shifting the narrative around their grueling working conditions, and impacting elections.
