Neighbor Voices (PAC)

Organization Description

Neighbor Voices PAC, Empower Project's affiliated political action committee, unlocks the power of personal connections to break down barriers, empower communities and enact change. We have built the largest friend-to-friend social influencing program in the country. In 2024, we facilitated 80 million social media impressions and 9 million 1:1 conversations with 3 million potential voters across 10 states. And this year, we’re aiming to take our program to 23 states in the fight to protect democracy. In an impersonal world dominated by algorithms, we can break through the noise using the power of personal conversations and connections.

2026 Programs

In 2026, Neighbor Voices PAC will recruit and manage trusted messengers, coordinate with partner organizations, organize trainings, and direct strategy around relational organizing across 23 states. Our program works because people value what their friends and family think. Our relational outreach strategies are centered on people and their trusted networks of relationships. We can also turn your social media channels into a storytelling machine - helping you create compelling content that will break through information silos and online clutter.

2025 Programs

In 2025, our programs in Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania generated 2.16 million one-on-one friend-to-friend conversations with 770,000 potential voters. Our Community Mobilizers shared prepared content and social media videos online that garnered 21.9 million impressions. These 'real people' social media videos were so compelling that the Spanberger for Governor campaign used four of our people in their paid media ads. We received an Expy Award from the Analyst Institute for our work testing Selfie-Style Direct-to-Camera (DTC) videos vs Official Campaign ads in Virginia in 2025.

Citizens' Climate Education (c3)

Organization Description

Citizens’ Climate Education (CCE) empowers people across the United States to build political will for effective climate solutions in Congress. Through grassroots organizing, leadership development, and evidence-based training, CCE equips volunteers with the skills and knowledge to engage policymakers constructively. Its nationwide network supports citizen advocacy through meetings with members of Congress, local media outreach, community engagement, and strategic campaigns aligned with key policy moments. By enabling everyday people to engage their elected officials effectively, CCE helps strengthen long-term support for climate solutions.

2026 Programs

CCE will focus on strengthening the effectiveness of citizen engagement with Congress on climate policy. Core programs include expanding the BRIDGE (Building Relationships in Dialogue, Growth, and Engagement) relational advocacy training program, providing policy education on key federal climate issues, and investing in volunteer leaders who coordinate advocacy across the country. CCE will continue mobilizing constituents to meet with members of Congress, engage in local media, and participate in targeted advocacy campaigns aligned with key legislative moments. By strengthening volunteer training, policy fluency, and strategic coordination, CCE equips citizens nationwide to engage policymakers and advance climate solutions.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Citizens’ Climate Education mobilized citizens nationwide to engage Congress on climate policy. More than 17,000 volunteers took 143,000 advocacy actions, including 824 meetings with congressional offices and 430 earned media placements. CCE delivered 315 trainings, reaching 13,000 live participants and 465,900 recorded views, and developed BRIDGE (Building Relationships in Dialogue, Growth, and Engagement), a relational advocacy training program to strengthen communication across political differences. Volunteers also used district-level clean energy investment data to highlight local economic benefits of federal climate policy. These efforts strengthened citizen engagement and helped defend key clean energy provisions during major federal policy debates.

2026 Programs

Building on its 2024 successes, MoveIndigo is now implementing both its National Campaign and Dual Resident Campaign. MoveIndigo’s National Campaign helps Democratic voters who are already moving (an estimated six million annually!) to discover desirable toss-up districts across the country where their votes will also be game changers. MoveIndigo’s Dual Resident Campaign encourages NYC and other blue-district Democrats who have second homes in toss-up districts in New York State to register to vote in those districts. (In 2024, MoveIndigo registrants made up more than 10% of the Democratic winning margin in CD-19! The strategy works and makes a difference.)

2025 Programs

In 2025, we laid the groundwork for both launching our National Campaign and re-launching our now-proven Dual Resident Campaign. For our National Campaign, we ran an innovative ad pilot designed to test whether we can successfully find, and meaningfully engage with, Democratic voters who are thinking about moving – and the answer is a resounding yes. We identified effective methods (leveraging targeting strategies like geofencing and lookalike audience building) to reach Democrats in the market to move, and we were gratified to see them seek information on our targeted districts as well as provide us their valuable contact info.

2024 Programs

Encouraging New York City Democrats who have second homes in toss up districts in New York State to register to vote in those districts. Progam will identify likely voters and target with messaging via online and print advertising.

Ohio Women's Alliance Action Fund (c4)

Organization Description

Ohio Women’s Alliance Action Fund (OWA Action Fund) is a Black-led Reproductive Justice (RJ) power-building organization advancing progressive change and equity through year-round civic engagement, express advocacy, grassroots lobbying, and movement capacity-building across Ohio. Centering the leadership and lived experiences of Black women and gender-expansive people, OWA Action Fund works to expand the electorate of racially- and gender-oppressed communities while strengthening Ohio’s RJ ecosystem.

2026 Programs

In 2026, OWA’s priorities are the continued implementation of Ohio’s Reproductive Freedom Amendment (RFA). To do this, we will lead a field program beginning in the summer through the November General election, focused on political education and voter mobilization for the Ohio Supreme Court elections. In addition to our field presence, OWA’s multi-year education and base-building campaign will lay the foundation for the passage of future electoral reform and proportional representation policy. We will utilize phone and text tactics to contact 20,000 Ohioans and collect 400 RJ Voter Pledges.

2025 Programs

OWA Action Fund advanced regional movement-building by planning and hosting a Midwest Reproductive Justice Summit, convening over 75 leaders to align strategies, share resources, and build a more cohesive, intersectional coalition. OWA Action Fund executed a statewide direct voter contact program using express advocacy scripts supporting candidates aligned with Reproductive Justice values. Outreach methods included phone banking, digital engagement, and relational organizing to educate voters on the role of the courts in upholding reproductive freedom.

2024 Programs

OWA Action Fund will focus on flipping the Ohio Supreme Court by electing justices whose philosophies will uphold the Reproductive Freedom Amendment that passed in 2023 by defending two seats and picking up one. We will also prioritize races in CD15 and HD5 by supporting values-aligned women of color candidates.

Mission

The purpose of the Ohio Women's Alliance Action Fund is to build capacity for women and gender-expansive folks—particularly Black women—to determine the lives they want for themselves, their families, and their communities through the electoral process. The OWA Action Fund creates a more sustainable movement through voter protection and education, civic engagement, and the endorsement of candidates that align with our values.

Ohio Women’s Alliance (c3)

Organization Description

Ohio Women’s Alliance is a Black-led, statewide Reproductive Justice organization founded to meet the urgent need for homegrown, diverse leadership across Ohio’s social justice and civic engagement landscape. OWA builds power through civic engagement, advocacy, coalition building, community education, leadership development, and holistic direct-support programs serving abortion seekers and the mental health of Black leaders and birthing people. Our mission is to transform Ohio into a state where people can truly thrive through access to safe communities, equitable education, healthcare, inclusive democracy, and economic prosperity. Our approach provides mutual aid alongside advocacy, education, and power-building rooted in the RJ framework.

2025 Programs

Be Well: Sacred Circles of Healing & Wellness provided peer-to-peer mental health support to over 140 Black moms and birthing people. Together with New Voices for Reproductive Justice, OWA hosted the first-ever Midwest Strategic Summit that gathered over 75 BIPOC leaders from across the country. Born out of a vision to create a strategic network of BIPOC organizations across the Midwest, the Summit was a three-day event that included workshops and panels of organizational and philanthropic leaders. Our direct service program, the Member Assistance Program (MAP) served over 800 clients in 2025.

2024 Programs

As a Black-led, Reproductive Justice organization in Ohio, Ohio Women’s Alliance is a trusted messenger within Black and brown communities across the state. Ensuring there are pro-choice justices on the Ohio Supreme Court in 24 will be crucial to protecting our constitutional rights and advancing true access in Ohio.

Clean Energy States Alliance Inc. (c3)

Organization Description

Clean Energy States Alliance is a national, nonprofit coalition of state energy agencies working since 2002 to develop and implement effective clean energy policies and programs. CESA helps states expand the use of clean energy to address climate change, advance equity, and strengthen local economies. Much of CESA’s work takes place behind the scenes, strategically informing, guiding, and assisting state energy agencies. CESA identifies and promotes innovative policies and provides opportunities for state officials to discuss their ideas, plans, and concerns in confidential settings. Foundation support enables CESA to reach beyond its member states to provide guidance to all states.

2026 Programs

Strategic planning with CESA’s state members produced an ambitious plan. CESA will: 

• Work with states to use strategic messaging to counter attacks on the affordability and reliability of renewable energy; 
• Help states preserve their clean energy standards and goals;
• Provide structured support to enable states to use VPPs to deliver grid reliability, emissions reductions, and consumer benefits;
• Help states with terminated EPA Solar for All awards still bring solar benefits to disadvantaged communities;
• Prompt states to promote innovative technologies (e.g., battery storage, geothermal networks, plug-in solar, building solutions) that can thrive in the current environment.

2025 Programs

As the tide pulled away from renewable energy in Washington, CESA ensured that the momentum for state clean energy development continued. CESA’s "Federal Energy News" newsletter remained a valuable resource for documenting the unprecedented clawback of federal funding, while CESA staff convened states—often on an emergency basis—to provide news and program details. CESA took over hosting meetings for states that had previously been hosted by federal agencies and offered robust technical assistance. Active programs and working groups for states focused on low-income solar, offshore wind, energy equity, energy storage policy, community solar, and energy affordability.

2026 Programs

Our educational work this year centers on a weekly streaming show and podcast, Care Talk, now in its fourth season. We reach ~15-25,000 viewers per episode, and also share short-form video clips on social media. We educate the public on health care policy, counter disinformation and more. We also produce and distribute educational health care social media content for all the social platforms, and offer large scale free online media trainings for health care advocates.

2024 Programs

Formed by some of the people who successfully fought off attacks on our health care in 2017, we’re organizing adults with serious medical conditions and health care activists across the country as a force for change. We are uplifting health care messaging to a disability focused audience nationally and in key states and regions through organic and paid content, as well as offering free media trainings to health care activists and storytellers.

Northeast Ohio Voter Advocates (c3)

Organization Description

NOVA is a grassroots organization that believes in expanding voter participation so that all voices are heard in our democracy. Our 501(c)3, non-partisan status allows us access to social service agencies, schools, food pantries and correctional facilities to register voters, conduct voter research, and advocate for voting equity. NOVA's mission is to enable and expand voter registration and turnout in under-represented areas of Northeast Ohio; and improve the election process in Ohio through research and advocacy for legislative and administrative changes.

2026 Programs

NOVA plans to continue our voter registration and voter turnout work with incarcerated voters, voters in the re-entry community, and low-propensity voters. Most of the voter registration is done by well-trained volunteers.

2025 Programs

NOVA expanded our jail registration and educational programming to four county jails in Northeast Ohio. One of our organizers worked with community members to double the turnout from the May 2025 Primary to the November 2025 General Election in one of Cleveland's lowest-turnout precincts. We continued to table regularly at government, food panties, and social service offices.

2024 Programs

Northeast Ohio Voter Advocates is a 501c(3), non-partisan organization that specializes in registering voters through social service agencies, schools, food pantries and correctional facilities and advocates for voting equity.

We're distributing health care and general progressive digital content now to educate and motivate health care voters through our own social media and a network of state-focused Facebook pages. Reaching through our email list and organic and paid social media, nationally and in key states.

Organizing Empower Project (c4)

Organization Description

Empower Project unlocks the power of personal connections to break down barriers, empower communities and enact change. We have built the largest friend-to-friend social influencing program in the country. In 2024, we facilitated 80 million social media impressions and 9 million 1:1 conversations with 3 million potential voters across 10 states. And this year, we’re aiming to take our program to 22 states in the fight to protect democracy. In an impersonal world dominated by algorithms, we can break through the noise using the power of personal conversations and connections.

2026 Programs

In 2026, Empower Project will recruit and manage trusted messengers, coordinate with partner organizations, organize trainings, and direct strategy around relational organizing across 22 states. Empower Project works because people value what their friends and family think. Our relational outreach strategies are centered on people and their trusted networks of relationships. Empower Project can also turn your social media channels into a storytelling machine - helping you create compelling content that will break through information silos and online clutter.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Empower Project’s programs in Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania generated 2.16 million one-on-one friend to friend conversations with 770,000 potential voters. Empower Project’s Community Mobilizers shared prepared content and social media videos online that garnered 21.9 million impressions. These 'real people' social media videos were so compelling that the Spanberger for Governor campaign used four of Empower Project’s people in their paid media ads. Empower Project received an Expy Award from the Analyst Institute for our work testing Selfie-Style Direct-to-Camera (DTC) videos vs Official Campaign ads in Virginia in 2025.

2024 Programs

Organizing Empower Project has launched a multi-state paid relational program to build the largest incentivized relational organizing program in history in 10 high-profile states to reach voters not typically reachable by other means and leverage the power of relational organizing to maximize impact.

Organization Description

Our country’s future depends on younger generations showing up in democracy. HeadCount gives them the tools to join the conversation. HeadCount works with partners across entertainment and culture to get more young people civically engaged than any other nonprofit in the country. Our focus is first-time voters, unaffiliated voters, and underrepresented young people, helping them to build lifelong habits of democratic participation and strengthening civic culture nationwide.

We partner with leading artists, creators, brands, and media platforms to engage fans through trusted peer-to-peer conversations at live events and online, guiding them from voter registration to Election Day and into ongoing civic participation. Our hybrid model combines nationwide field programs, innovative digital campaigns like Good to Vote, and culturally relevant initiatives serving diverse communities. We combat political disillusionment by fostering connection, community, and accessible civic engagement.

2025 Programs

Together with our volunteers, artist partners, and supporters, we registered more than 39,600 voters and helped over 1 million people get ready to vote — whether by checking their registration, finding out what was on their ballot, or making a plan to cast their vote. 1,111,064 people got ready to vote at HeadCount.org, 766,802 total voter actions taken, 39,600 new voters registered, and 1,096 field events. We received and processed voter registration forms from 47 states.

Organization Description

We are National Ground Game: The Organized, Disciplined Leadership Winning Democratic Elections. We turn Turning Point USA’s tactics against them — campus debates, viral moments, and public engagement — to register voters, drive turnout, and win Democratic elections. Our organizers train students to run an aggressive, results-driven ground game, where every action delivers real victories at the ballotbox.

2026 Programs

In 2026, our focus will be on our college campus debate tour, visiting 15 schools in critical swing states. We aim to flip at least two congressional seats that are currently +5 Republican and not DCCC targets, while also expanding our college chapters to reach 500 nationwide.

2025 Programs

In the past year, National Ground Game has generated 300+ million organic social views, raised nearly $1 million from 35,000+ small-dollar donors, and registered over 1,000 voters in Florida’s Special Election, flipping Escambia County blue for the first time since 1960. We executed large-scale field programs in Virginia and Wisconsin, mobilized young voters on six college campuses with our Prove Me Wrong Series, sold out events countering TPUSA, released a national wrap video, earned major media coverage, and are on track to launch 500+ college chapters by early 2027, building one of the largest youth-led political operations in the country.

The People's WhistleBlower Campaign (Group)

Organization Description

A 2026 public grassroots signature campaign calling out corruption and wrongdoing by the US President and Executive Branch, and Congress for failing to do their Constitutional duty as an equal branch and a guardrail. We use the construct of a Whistleblower complaint to formalize and address the wrongdoing that, unchecked, has evident public harm. The key advantages of this approach are: 1) Formal: over two dozen Citations. 2) “Served" to every member of Congress, not just three from my zip code. 3) Dynamic: add new wrongdoing - don’t start over again. 4) Chenoweth-level signature possibility: sustained, cumulative, inclusive.

2026 Programs

We need funds to make our website operational to capture massive signers and to link with other major grassroots orgs, such as No Kings, Indivisible, Common Cause, Third Act to achieve Chenoweth-level signature participation. With a six or seven-digit signature participation, we will “serve” each member of Congress with this People’s Complaint. Requires funding for: Licensing of signature management software, Document servicing to Congress, Social media marketing, Licensing artwork for a downloadable social media badge, Liaison with Congress, Support via anonymized participation reports for 2026 federal candidates from their districts, Other organizational matters.

The Freedom ROC (c3)

Organization Description

The Freedom ROC is a Black-led, statewide organization in Ohio devoted to advancing racial and economic justice by cultivating informed, capable citizens and strengthening the civic institutions that sustain democratic self-governance. Rooted in grassroots organizing and coalition-building, our work centers the voices and leadership of people most directly impacted by systemic inequity, ensuring they are not only participants in civic life, but stewards of their communities’ future.

2026 Programs

In 2026, The Freedom BLOC will directly contact approximately 80,000 voters through door-to-door canvassing, phone outreach, mail, and digital communications, with a primary emphasis on in-person conversations. The field program will conduct an estimated 175,000 door knocks across targeted precincts, prioritizing low-turnout areas in Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 10 while maintaining strong performance in high-turnout precincts. 5,000 new registered voters with comprehensive follow-up, 175,000 doors knocked across targeted precincts, 80,000 voters reached through direct relational contact, expanded base presence in three new wards. Additionally, we will intentionally expand our base by bringing at least 10,000 voters.

2025 Programs

Successfully implemented a new “registration year equals voter year” model, providing follow-up door knocks and mailers to all newly registered voters, resulting in increased voter turnout across all of our target wards and movement towards closing the gap between registration and participation. Expanded civic education and leadership development efforts, with BLOC University 2025 enrollment reaching 152 total participants and 86 graduates.

Freedom ROC is focused on building Black grassroots community power will train and empower Black leaders to register voters through hotspot canvassing, doors, events, BLOC parties and concerts in Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Warren counties.

Activate America (PAC)

Organization Description

Activate America mobilizes volunteers to help Democrats win majorities in Congress. We’ve built a vast network of passionate volunteers and grassroots groups who participate in voter outreach. Through this network, both individuals and community-based groups can act locally while accessing top-notch scripts, tools, and targeted data. We value our volunteers as essential partners, not mere participants, earning us praise for providing the best volunteer experience.

2026 Programs

We are going to be postcarding, texting, phonebanking, and canvassing in the most competitive House and Senate races in the country. In addition, we are piloting a distributed relational organizing program in Arizona's 1st Congressional district, where we will build a large network of volunteer driven power to flip AZ-01.

2025 Programs

We conducted almost 4 million voter contacts, a record for Activate America in an off year. Our volunteers worked to help elect Governors in New Jersey and Virginia, retain Supreme Court judges in Pennsylvania, and to pass Proposition 50 in California, which was an effort to fight back against Republican mid-decade redistricting.

2024 Programs

Activate America uses our network of 30,000 volunteers to reach low-propensity voters in 7 states by postcarding, texting, phone banking, and canvassing. We provide positive and negative accountability messaging, we help voters sign up to vote by mail, and we provide key voting logistics information and reminders.

Activate America seeks to empower volunteers to get out the vote for Democratic candidates in close US House and Senate races.

Organization Description

Vote Pro-Choice builds governing power to support legal, accessible reproductive healthcare at every level of government, particularly at the state and local levels. We empower voters with registration resources, election information, and comprehensive voter guides. Our candidates champion abortion access and comprehensive reproductive healthcare in city halls, state houses, and everywhere in between.

In 2025, Vote Pro-Choice made its largest-ever investment in Virginia, one of the nation’s most critical battlegrounds for reproductive rights, helping deliver historic results. Through early, targeted digital persuasion and GOTV programs, we made 1.3 million voter contacts focused on likely pro-choice women and younger voters. This work spanned 10 House of Delegates districts and included short-form ads exposing incumbents’ anti-choice voting records, joint creative with Planned Parenthood Virginia PAC and Reproductive Freedom for All, and a six-figure program supporting the lieutenant governor’s race. We helped flip all 10 legislative seats and won every race we engaged in.

In 2025, Vote Pro-Choice made its largest-ever investment in Virginia, one of the nation’s critical battlegrounds for reproductive rights, helping deliver historic results. Through an early, multi-platform digital program, we combined education and persuasion across paid social, CTV, YouTube, pre-roll video, email, and SMS, deploying 30-second issue-contrast ads that drove voters to our in-house voter guide. This work was active in 13 House of Delegates districts, generated 6.2 million impressions, reached more than 1M+ unique devices, and supported pro-choice messaging in statewide races. We helped flip 13 seats—nearly double projections—and won every race we engaged in.

TurnUp | Turnout Activism Inc. (c3)

Organization Description

TurnUp's youth-led voter registration and turnout program targets competitive states and congressional districts. We conduct paid student-led on-campus voter registration and turnout drives at high schools and low-turnout community college campuses; relational voter registration and turnout programs targeting unregistered and low-propensity young voters; an educational internship program empowering youth to conduct text-banking, phone-banking, and canvassing; and innovative digital activities reminding young people to register and vote. Since 2019, we have registered over 600,000 young voters, texted 45 million young voters, talked to 1.2 million young voters via phone, and graduated 18,000 youth from our internship program.

2026 Programs

In 2026, TurnUp is focused on registering 190,000 young voters in swing states and districts, while mobilizing over five million to vote. TurnUp is organizing the following programs to accomplish these goals paid student-led on-campus voter registration and turnout drives at high schools and low-turnout community college campuses; relational voter registration and turnout programs targeting unregistered and low-propensity young voters; an educational internship program empowering youth to conduct text-banking, phone-banking, and canvassing; and digital activities reminding young people to register and vote.

2025 Programs

We achieved our 2025 goal of registering 170,000 young voters who will be critical to the 2026 election! This is the highest number of registrants TurnUp has achieved in an off-year. Young people in our targeted counties were motivated to register to vote, so our fellowship, relational, and internship programs ran at almost election-year levels this year, allowing us to reach this goal. TurnUp also played an important role in the 2025 elections in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey through our voter registration and turnout efforts.

2024 Programs

TurnUp's Youth-led GOTV program targets low-turnout community college campuses and low-propensity young voters. The program engages over 18,000 young interns, on-campus organizers, and relational organizers to utilize the following strategies: on-campus GOTV events, relational GOTV campaigns, canvassing, phone-banking, and text-banking.

We’re on a mission to strengthen democracy by increasing high impact youth civic action and closing the gap between young people who want to take civic action and those who actually take action. TurnUp includes five integrated programs that work together to increase youth voter

Dirtroad Organizing is a 501(c)(4) organization with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor that provides training and long term mentorship to support organizers, staff, and candidates who are working towards an equitable and just democracy in rural America. We cultivate grassroots leadership at the state and local level through 4-month cohorts for individuals and trainings for local groups. Deep investment in rural communities is how we secure the policies needed for a durable, just, and equitable future for all. We are building a new kind of politics that is rooted in community and values, not partisanship.

2026 Programs

Dirtroad is training more rural leaders in the first half of 2026 than we ever have in such a short time period. We will traing 50-60 rural leaders over the next six months. We are also running a partner program with Run For Something to train rural leaders until 40 to run for office. NOTE: This collaboration with RFS is c3-compliant. After people graduate from our Cohorts, we support them 1-1 through the election. We plan to double the number of DO alums that we're supporting in 2026 (compared to 2024). This will be a big lift!

2025 Programs

To date, we've trained 145+ rural leaders from 34 states. As far as we know, we are the only national training program for rural progressive candidates, staffers, and organizers. We ran more Cohorts in 2025 than we ever had before, running 7 Cohorts. This included a partner Cohort with the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association to bring together rural agricultural/food leaders for a month-long program. PowerMoves is on a mission to build a more civil, just and inclusive society by helping people who are moving find communities where they will be happy, safe, and welcome – and where their votes will be powerful. To facilitate this, we have launched a Voter Impact Index (V-Impact) tool that helps people understand the impact of their vote based on their zip code. We also recommend communities where people can have high voter impact scores AND have their quality of life priorities are met.

2026 Programs

We have launched an initial version of our Voter Impact Index (V-Impact), which projects the impact of your vote in any zip code. V-Impact is a non-partisan index, which assigns to every zip code a voter impact score that is calculated based on the competitiveness of six federal and state elections associated with that unique zip code. Individuals can use the score to identify competitive locations where they can meet their quality of life priorities like: LGBTQ+ safety, tax friendliness, reproductive health care rights, and climate resiliency.

2025 Programs

In 2025, our focus was building the Voter Impact Index which is live and can be accessed at: https://www.powermoves.vote/voter-impact-index-lookup-1. We also identified communities that are electorally competitive AND that meet the 4 quality of life priorities we identified: LGBTQ+ safety, tax friendliness, reproductive health care rights, and climate resiliency. Silver Spring Progressive Action exists to tip tight elections for a more just, equitable and compassionate country. It’s our lane – so much that it’s in our logo. We are focused solely on elections because we believe that having the right people in the right positions makes it easier to bring about lasting progressive change. In 2026, we will use all of our tools to:
- Win Democratic control of the US House
- Maintain all Dem-held Senate seats and flip two additional seats
- Increase the number of states with Democratic governors, Secretaries of State, and Attorneys General

In 2025, we helped win the Wisconsin Supreme Court election thereby maintaining the liberal majority, helped flip the Virginia governorship and expanded the Democratic majority in the Virginia House of Delegates, and developed new approaches to reach and persuade voters more effectively, along with a new training program to increase volunteer effectiveness. We did this via phonebanking (60K calls, including a new auto-dialer program), letter-writing (29K letters, including a new candidate-specific turnout/persuasion template with an RCT to evaluate it), canvassing (43K doors, including a deep canvassing program) and raising $140,000 (for candidates, democracy defense, and new media).

We will be continuing to oppose unconstitutional documentary proof of citizenship requirements; advocate for access to mail-in balloting; and fight for objective voting rights restoration processes for returning citizens. We will partner with state civic engagement tables, grassroots partners, and more than 400 campuses (including nearly half of HBCU campuses). We have state-based staff and programming centered across AZ, FL, GA, MI, NC, OH, PA, TX, VA, and WI. We will continue to support student civic engagement and turnout at HBCUs, community colleges, and public 4-year institutions.

We know good policy begins at the ballot box. That’s why we engage under-represented voters who often decide elections. From cost-conscious citizens to disengaged young people, we connect on the issues they care about most — lower costs, affordable energy, healthier food, cleaner air and water, and access to good jobs. We aim to continue running one of the largest voter registration and mobilization programs in the country in the lead up to 2026 midterms, with a focus on high-salience voters under 35 who hold decisive power up and down the ballot.

We believe in patient capital. We don’t believe in operating election cycle to election cycle — we invest in shaping public opinion and political discourse over time. GoodPower transforms voters’ voices into concrete policy wins — breaking down barriers to a better economy, advancing renewable-friendly policies, and demanding accountability. We cultivate dedicated volunteers in communities across the country who gain a deep understanding of how to influence lawmakers, win local fights, and build long-term power. 2025 Programs

Blue Future is hiring, training, and mobilizing young organizers to turnout young voters in Virginia, working hand-in-hand with Abigail Spanberger’s Gubernatorial campaign. So far this year, 50 young organizers in Virginia have called 33,750 young voters in just 8 weeks, helping folks register and make a plan to vote. As of August, we are prepared to hire 100 organizers for our Fall cohort and have received 133 applications but currently have funding for 50, leaving a gap of $37,500. We’re raising an additional $15,000 to support local grants to High School and College Democrats in Virginia to increase attendance at their volunteer phonebanks and canvasses.

Blue Future is a youth-led organization that recruits, trains and deploys youth to progressive campaigns. They offer stipends + microgrants to youth-led initiatives that increase youth participation in elections. Additionally, Blue Future provides leadership coaching and career development support to build the future pipeline of progressive leaders in the US.

We are a coalition of labor, faith, and community organizations joining together to protect workers' rights and immigrants' rights in Northeast Ohio, through collective action. Our primary focus is on protecting vulnerable workers who are being exploited by management. We do this because of the cohesiveness of CLEJWJ, we can expand easily to meet the increasing needs of the community. We are constantly successfully recruiting new members (individuals and organizations) through our campaigns, which are led by those very individuals who are affected by the projects we organize.

2025 Programs

Beginning in 2011, Cleveland Jobs with Justice has long made immigration one of our priority campaigns, with an active committee, now the Immigration Working Group CLE (IWGCLE). We continue working to respond to this administration's assault on the undocumented community across the US and Northeast Ohio while evolving and changing to respond to the national level's developing crisis. We have restarted Immigration Court Monitoring to provide the community and decision makers with essential information not available elsewhere. We are also engaging organized labor and worker justice groups in the fight for reproductive rights for women.

2025 Programs

GCC will focus in 2025 on deepening civic power in Cleveland’s most disenfranchised neighborhoods ahead of critical city elections. We’re training and organizing a new generation of youth and adult leaders to counter disinformation, expand political education, and turn low-propensity voters into consistent voters through deep relational organizing. Through our Neighborhood Captain Program and Youth Army, we’re building sustained, block-by-block power to reshape electoral ecosystems and win lasting change, focusing on elections this year as new ward maps have been created merging neighborhoods of different socioeconomic basis.

2024 Programs

GCC is building power to create social change in Ohio. We are training and organizing youth and adults to engage or re-engage residents in low-propensity voting neighborhoods from targeted neighborhoods in the City of Cleveland and its inner-ring suburbs to get in the habit of voting every election cycle.

Nonprofit VOTE partners with America’s 501(c)(3) nonprofits to boost civic participation and close voter turnout gaps by race, age, income, and education level. As a trusted resource, Nonprofit VOTE provides nonpartisan tools, trainings, and strategies that empower nonprofits to engage their communities in voting without compromising their mission or IRS status. Our model centers on long-term civic capacity-building, not one-off campaigns—equipping nonprofits to become permanent civic engagement hubs and ensure all voices are heard in democracy.

In 2025, Nonprofit VOTE will resource and support community-based nonprofits across the nation and lay the foundation for a robust field program across 8+ states in 2026. We will train thousands of nonprofit leaders through webinars, expand access to state-specific toolkits, and coordinate National Voter Registration Day efforts. Our resources will support nonprofits in engaging hard-to-reach voters, particularly in rural, immigrant, low-income, and disability communities. Through data-driven strategies, we’ll ensure underrepresented groups have access to the ballot and are reflected in our democracy.

Organization Description

The Ohio Coalition on Black Civic Participation/Ohio Unity Coalition is dedicated to addressing issues that directly affect our communities, emphasizing the vital connection between these concerns and the significance of voting. Our efforts focus on registering, educating, and mobilizing voters to ensure that our collective impact is felt at the ballot box and in policy decisions. Ohio Coalition on Black Civic Participation is partnering with community leaders, organizations and churches to register Black voters at block parties, festivals and house parties, and through door-to-door canvassing.

The Ohio Coalition on Black Civic Participation, (Ohio Unity Coalition) is a state affiliate of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation in Washington DC. OUC and is incorporated as a is a 501c-3 organization in Ohio. Our primary purpose is to increase political literacy and civic engagement in black communities across Ohio, while building capacity in our member organizations and the communities in which we serve. The variety of voter contact /voter service mechanisms we utilize range from voter registration, education, voter/election protection, get-out-the-vote and issue advocacy around priorities specific to black communities.

American Solar Grazing Association (c6)

Organization Description

ASGA is a farmer-centric non-profit with over 1,000 members. Since 2018, ASGA has supported graziers, the solar industry, and the agrivoltaic community by developing an extensive library of virtual education resources, technical guides, sample contracts, short films, and other materials. ASGA is the leading authority in solar grazing and has defined the best practices for the industry. As seasoned land stewards, educators, rural community members, and connectors, the association is uniquely positioned to develop narratives and perform outreach. Our community unites the agricultural and renewable energy industries, working to dispel the myth that agriculture and clean energy are in conflict.

We plan to: develop a devoted technical assistance team; provide individual, high-touch technical assistance; establish a solar grazier mentorship program to pay certified graziers to mentor new graziers; grow the community of solar graziers; perform workforce development through in-person workshops, certifications, webinars, online training, and mentoring; develop toolkits with sample contracts, budgets, business plans, and vegetation management plans; develop the solar wool and fiber sector; create an ambassador program to engage communities through short films, farm-to-table events, workshops, and conferences; and create solar grazing media and resources for the ambassador, mentor, and technical assistance programs.

Rhizome (c3)

Organization Description

Rhizome's core purpose is to build collective power for young people to create the safer, happier, healthier world they want to live in. Launched by 90 co-founders, we train youth leaders to organize and increase civic engagement in their local communities.

2025 Programs

Our flagship program is the Civic Service Fellowship, a leadership development program for emerging leaders in high school who learn to organize and increase civic engagement. Local Fellowship Chapters are led by paid Youth Organizers, who support teams of Fellows to lead local actions around the inclusive, nonviolent, and nonpartisan ideas they are most passionate about. We led over 100 local actions in spring 2025 and have registered over 24,000 students to vote in the last three years. Rhizome has teams of under 1,000 Fellows taking actions from over 200 high schools. Our goal is 300 high schools next year.

2024 Programs

Rhizome was co-founded by 90 young people in 2021. Our purpose is to build collective power for young people to create the safer, happier, healthier world they want to live in. We're engaged in voter registration, GOTV work, and student-led narrative change around youth voice and representation in 2024.

Organization Description

The Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund (OEC AF) builds the political power of the environmental movement in Ohio through strategic issue and electoral campaigns as well as elected official accountability. Since its launch in 2016, the OEC AF has grown to be a well-recognized political force equipped with solutions to address the state’s most pressing environmental and climate issues facing Ohio communities. We continue to increase the political power of Ohio’s environmental movement in order to accelerate climate action and the adoption of just environmental policies.

As the impacts of climate change grow, communities that have been systematically left out will suffer the most. To address the climate crisis, the OEC AF has embedded equitable and bold climate action across all programming. Citizens' Climate Lobby (c4)

Organization Description

Citizens' Climate Education and Citizens' Climate Lobby work together to advance climate action in the U.S. Congress. We train and empower our grassroots network of 360 active chapters and 62 national action teams to build political will through local organizing, media engagement, and direct lobbying. During election years, we mobilize volunteers to engage candidates on climate change and boost voter turnout.

2025 Programs

In 2025, Citizens' Climate Lobby is focused on defending hard-won climate victories in the U.S. Congress, such as the clean energy tax credits passed in the Inflation Reduction Act. We are also taking advantage of opportunities to make forward progress in the current political climate. These opportunities include climate-smart forestry, clean energy deployment, and building electrification.

Organization Description

Ohio Citizen Action informs, organizes, and mobilizes people to advocate for public interests across issues and campaigns. In person, by phone, and online we engage people in actions that protect public health, improve environmental quality, and benefit consumers. Our campaigns connect Ohioans and build a movement to protect democracy and create a sustainable and equitable future. In 2023 we helped win two ballot initiative campaigns (keeping a simple majority to pass citizen led ballot initiatives and enshrining reproductive rights in our constitution), and helped elect a progressive mayor in Akron. In 2024 we knocked 366,894 doors for Sherrod Brown.

2025 Programs

Opposing SB 63 (ban on ranked choice voting) and SB 153 (Ohio's SAVE act, which attacks voter rights and adds to the burden to get citizen-led initiatives on the ballot). Using our deep canvassing/persuasion training to reach voters who pledged to vote in 2024 after we talked to them at the door, but then didn't. We want to listen and learn in these "front porch focus groups" why people didn't vote, then rework the data they give us to persuade others like them to vote in 2025 and 2026. Promote repeal of consumer coal plant bailout.

2024 Programs

Advocate for local and statewide democracy, energy and consumer issues. We project knocking 709,700 doors statewide and making 259,000 phone calls, plus digital tactics, including voter videos.

OCAEF is the 501c3 research and education affiliate of Ohio Citizen Action, with which we sometimes run joint campaigns. Since 1975 we've earned a reputation as a trusted source of information and a vigilant government and industry watchdog.

2025 Programs

Advocacy work includes opposing two bills, one banning ranked choice voting in Ohio, and the other Ohio's version of the SAVE act which suppresses voter rights and adds to the burden of putting citizen led initiatives on the ballot. Rural solar organizing uses deep canvassing/persuasion to win hearts and minds for siting utility-scale solar projects. Voter courtship uses deep canvassing/persuasion to contact people canvassed during the 2024 election who pledged to vote, but didn't. We'll uncover the obstacles, rationales, and stories of unactivated voters and develop messaging to persuade people like them to vote.

2024 Programs

Ohio Citizen Action Education Fund will register voters by conducting hotspot canvassing and going door-to-door, primarily on community college campuses/areas in Cincinnati, Athens, Columbus and Cleveland.

Sisters Lead Sisters Vote (SLSV) is a powerful force dedicated to amplifying the voices, leadership, and political influence of Black women. Founded on principles of advocacy, education, and civic engagement, SLSV mobilizes Black women to shape policies and elections that uplift their families and communities. By fostering leadership among women across the spectrum—including cisgender, transgender, gender-expansive, and non-binary individuals—SLSV ensures inclusive representation and collective strength. Through informed action, sustained organizing, and unwavering support for Black women's political leadership, SLSV embodies empowerment, dignity, and resilience, transforming communities nationwide.

2025 Programs

Our core programs empower Black women to lead transformative change through:
1) Justice Agenda Advocacy: Driving impactful policy changes at federal, state, and local levels by creating, distributing, and providing hands-on training with advocacy toolkits and compelling social media content.
2) Black Women Candidates Research & Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing every Black woman candidate running in every election nationwide to ensure their visibility, viability, and victories.
3) Leadership Development: Cultivating the skills, confidence, and networks of Black women political leaders and volunteers, including strengthening and expanding the Win With Black Women State Network to sustain enduring political power.

2024 Programs

Sisters Lead Sisters Vote leverages peer to peer influence to disrupt mis- and dis-information by providing our Under 30 cohort with guidance on creating core messaging products supported by curated information and polling. VoteRiders’ mission is to ensure that no eligible voter is prevented from casting a ballot that counts due to voter ID laws, either directly from lack of acceptable ID or indirectly because of voter confusion. VoteRiders educates voters and assists citizens to secure their voter ID. We inspire and support organizations, volunteers, and communities to sustain such voter ID education and assistance efforts.

We provide information about voter ID requirements for every voter in every state, via our toll-free Voter ID Helpline (866-ID-2-VOTE), online resources, educational wallet cards and our on-the-ground teams. Voters can always connect with a VoteRiders team member through our Chatbot, Helpline, and website to ask questions and receive free assistance. Subnational Funding Readiness & Performance (SFRP) is a flagship initiative that provides pro bono technical assistance to help capacity-constrained entities pursue and implement climate investments. Conceived, launched, and managed by Hua Nani Partners (HNP), SFRP connects subnational governments, tribes, and community-based organizations with the technical expertise and surge capacity needed to translate federal, state, local, and philanthropic funding into equitable, community-centered climate action. Backed by HNP’s deep policy, strategy, and technical expertise across sectors, SFRP is designed to close capacity gaps and ensure that climate investments reach communities that need them most.

2025 Programs

As many subnational entities face hiring freezes, layoffs, and staffing shortages, SFRP provides no-cost surge capacity to ease administrative burdens and optimize limited resources. We help awardees maintain compliance with federal grant requirements, especially Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) obligations, safeguarding critical climate investments. In parallel, we identify alternative state, local, philanthropic, and corporate funding opportunities to help under-resourced entities navigate an increasingly complex funding landscape. Ohio Families Unite Against Police Brutality (c3)

2025 Programs

In 2024, OFUAPB ran a large canvassing program in Dayton, Ohio focused on those who are directly impacted by police brutality. The canvassers knocked 52,614 doors and connected with 13,203 voters. We also called over 6,400 voters and texted an additional 4,800+ voters in Dayton to remind them to bring their ID to vote and help locate their polling place. In 2025 we are organizing year-round with direct voter engagement and state and local advocacy on police reform.

2024 Programs

Our layered approach includes canvassing, phonebanking, text banking, pollstanding on Election Day, digital and mail. We ensure investment into existing infrastructure in these communities, preserve the authenticity of the trusted messenger’s voice, and support longer term organizing and mobilization for the progressive movement in these spaces.

Organization Description

Welcoming Neighbors Network (WNN) is America’s only national network of independent state and local pro-housing advocacy organizations. Currently comprising 46 organizations across 29 states, WNN is reshaping housing and land use policy in the United States – from scarcity and sprawl to abundance, affordability, and sustainability. WNN members spearheaded nearly every major state and municipal level victory for pro-housing, pro-climate land use policy over the last six years. Organization Description

The Local Progress Impact Lab (the Impact Lab) brings together local leaders, partners, and experts to build the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to advance racial, economic, and gender justice at the local and state level. Our membership is made up of more than 1,500 local elected officials who together form the Local Progress network. The Impact Lab provides leadership development and governance training programming and policy, communications, and organizing support to our members and supports them in utilizing a model of collaborative governance that brings historically marginalized and oppressed communities to the center of policymaking.

Our work is member-driven, and as such, our issue focus areas can shift to respond to dynamic environments that create windows of opportunity for elected officials to drive an equitable agenda forward. In 2025, we will focus on climate change and climate justice, housing, economic justice, public safety, public education, and immigrant rights. Programming includes policy primers, issue deep-dives, webinars to launch and distribute resources the Impact Lab creates in collaboration with our partners, such as reports, policy memos, messaging toolkits, and case studies. Greenlight wins approval for clean energy projects and ordinances at the local level by running campaigns that mobilize local constituents to support clean energy at moments of critical importance. Our 2024 programmatic work will advance 4.4 Gigawatts of clean energy to the grid, avoiding approximately 2 million tons of Greenhouse Gas pollution as a result.

2025 Programs

The Campaign registered nearly 160,000 Black, working-class, and young voters in cities such as Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Our endorsement committee (made up of students, formerly incarcerated individuals, faith leaders, public school parents, and childcare providers) backed candidates in competitive congressional races, as well as sheriff and prosecutor races. Yet, challenges like lower voter turnout and restrictive voting policies persist, underscoring the need for continued grassroots organizing.

2024 Programs

In 2024, we will work to expand the electorate and close the racial and age gap amongst registered voters in Ohio. We plan to register 145,000 voters in Black communities and 35,000 young voters on college campuses, and mobilize them and more by knocking on 1,000,000 doors to reach 250,000 voters.

One Fair Wage Action Inc (c4)

After the 2024 election, Democrats have committed to working on wage increases and ending subminimum wages. In 2025, we’re seeing momentum for policy changes in Illinois, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Arizona, and California. One Fair Wage Action will support legislative campaigns in IL, MD, and NY, while in OH, AZ, and CA, we’ll push for ballot measures, mobilizing workers to gather signatures and engage voters.

Led by women of color, One Fair Wage Action is collecting voter registrations while gathering signatures for a minimum wage ballot measure. They mobilize workers, employers, and consumers nationwide to enhance wages and working conditions in the service sector, aiming to abolish all subminimum wages in the United States.

Mission

One Fair Wage Action is a national organization seeking to raise wages, improve working conditions, and build power for workers in the service sector, and end all subminimum wages in the United States. In particular, we organize service workers to lead legislation and ballot measure campaigns to raise wages in their industry, and also engage them in large-scale peer-to-peer voter engagement programs to support these wage increases and candidates who support them, driving change from the ground up.

Volunteer Community Outreach is our top priority. We volunteer to:
Provide services at Senior Centers (reception, luncheon, meals-on-wheels);
Attend local LGBTQ meetings, support their/our priorities and engage in their/our actions;
Assist our Latinx neighbors with transportation upon release from detention, for medical appointments, for visits to lawyers. We work to provide help for children whose parents are detained, and highlight education on rights and protections. We engage in local government meetings–County Commissioners, School Boards, Senior Center Boards, Township Trustees, City Council. We will engage in targeted voter outreach as the 2025 primary and general elections draw nearer.

2024 Programs

We are volunteers dedicated to democracy in a deeply red, rural county. Goals:
1) Contact like-minded and persuadable voters–empower them to vote.
2) Reach voters via conversations at events and in public venues, canvass (“standard” and “deep”), promote our Talk Teams, distribute cards/pamphlets, text, engage through social media and billboards.

UNITE HERE Action Fund (c4/PAC)

UNITE HERE Action Fund will promote and increase the electoral participation of low propensity voters – primarily working class and people of color – in Virginia and New Jersey by having UNITE HERE union members canvass them to identify issues and key challenges facing them, draw out what messages are most motivating, and educate them on how to vote.

2024 Programs

The hospitality workers union, UNITE HERE Action Fund, is launching an ambitious field program in 2024 in Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. UNITE HERE operates the nation’s largest labor-led canvassing program, with canvassers who are union members—workers talking to working-class voters about their fight to protect their livelihoods and their country.

Mission

The purpose of the UNITE HERE Action Fund is to assist hospitality workers, other working people and their families to achieve economic, social, and racial justice through education and advocacy, leadership development, and full participation in civic life. UNITE HERE Action Fund and Workers Vote are closely aligned with UNITE HERE, a hospitality workers union.

Young people in the U.S. are more likely to attend live music events (63% millennials) than vote (35.6% for 18-29). #iVoted bridges this gap by meeting potential voters where they are as a data-driven organization that books the top trending artists and talent in states whose electoral margins are often decided by the size of a concert venue.

Deep Canvassing Program to spread accurate, pro-democracy messaging to voters often marginalized by traditional electoral paradigms, and in turn elect more pro-democracy candidates in North Carolina — especially a pro-civil rights seat on the state Supreme Court. Tactics will include door-knocking (both paid and volunteer), phone-banking, and paid GOTV mailers and digital.

Mission

Common Cause (501c4) advocates and organizers work in 25 states to pass pro-democracy, pro-voter laws to make it easier to participate in our elections. We have lobbied for and won common sense solutions like expanding vote-by-mail, making ballots available in multiple languages, extending early voting periods, automatic voter registration, and much more.
