Citizens' Climate Education and Citizens' Climate work together to advance climate action in the U.S. Congress. We train and empower our grassroots network of 360 active chapter and 62 national action teams to build political will through local organizing, media engagement, and direct lobbying. During election years, we mobilize volunteers to engage candidates on climate change and boost voter turnout.

In 2025, Citizens' Climate Education is focused on training our grassroots network to defend hard-won climate victories in the U.S. Congress, such as the clean energy tax credits passed in the Inflation Reduction Act. We are also taking advantage of opportunities to make forward progress in the current political climate. These opportunities include climate-smart forestry, clean energy deployment, and building electrification.

Families for a Livable Climate (c3)

Families for a Livable Climate is building a Montana-powered, family-centered climate movement. We create community for climate action by welcoming families of all kinds into the climate space, and equipping them with the tools, support, and leadership opportunities to make a difference. From climate storytelling and advocacy to clean energy and local solutions, we’re helping Montanans bridge divides and build a thriving future - for our kids, and for us all.

In 2025, Families for a Livable Climate will strengthen and expand our Working Group program—a volunteer-led initiative focused on clean energy, healthy schools, plastic reduction, and sustainable investing. We’ll formalize training, onboarding, and support for community climate leaders, seed new groups in 3–5 Montana communities, and deepen statewide engagement. Our programming includes skill-building workshops, social and action events, and strategic campaign support. The goal is to grow a leaderful, scalable grassroots movement, equipping Montanans with tools and connections to advance community-driven climate solutions and ensure a livable future for all.

FLC engages families of all kinds in community-oriented climate events, educational opportunities, advocacy, and leadership. In 2024 we will leverage our existing volunteer network to register our members and their circles to vote and share voter education tools, as well as host postcard-writing campaigns to encourage greater voter turnout.

Families for a Livable Climate creates community for climate action in Montana. We welcome families of all kinds into the climate space and provide tools, skills, and support for Montanans to engage in meaningful efforts. Our goal is to mobilize families toward bold climate action and a thriving future for all. Action is our hope.

MRAPA builds community power to fight for justice in Latinx and immigrant communities and working-class communities of color. In 2024, we’ll work in 5 counties, focusing in communities that are ignored and rarely targeted by typical Democratic campaigns, yet they are an important voter base that needs to be persuaded.

Make the Road Action (MRA) builds political power rooted in working-class Latinx, Black and communities of color, promotes policy solutions that improve the lives of all working-class and low-income people, and strengthens the movement for justice through electoral and grassroots organizing to advance progressive political and policy change.

The heart of our program is building robust student teams across the state of Pennsylvania. Recruited and trained by full-time Campus Organizers, our Student Fellows and volunteers engage in a variety of traditional and creative tactics to collect pledge to vote cards, persuade students to vote for progressive issues, and lead robust GOTV efforts.

To promote and expand democracy in Pennsylvania by elevating youth leadership in order to get organized, vote in key elections, and exercise our power to take control of our lives through civic engagement.
