The Center for Common Ground is non-partisan, Black and women-led voting rights organization founded in 2018. We work in voter suppression states where more than 20% of voters are voters of color – Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. Collaborating with local partners, we strive to mobilize ALL voters of color, both those who consistently participate in elections and those who have yet to exercise their right to vote.

As a Virginia based organization we are laser focused on Virginia elections. We will be sending postcards, making phone calls, canvassing and texting. Because so many people in our community are hurt first and worst by the current Administration plans we are now providing mutual aid in most of our Democracy Centers. Additionally, we are building an Integrated Election Management Platform which will revolutionize Field Management

Our campaign aims to engage super voters, registered voters, and especially irregular or low propensity voters

Center for Common Ground works to educate and empower voters of color in voter suppression states. Citizens' Climate Education and Citizens' Climate work together to advance climate action in the U.S. Congress. We train and empower our grassroots network of 360 active chapter and 62 national action teams to build political will through local organizing, media engagement, and direct lobbying. During election years, we mobilize volunteers to engage candidates on climate change and boost voter turnout.

In 2025, Citizens' Climate Education is focused on training our grassroots network to defend hard-won climate victories in the U.S. Congress, such as the clean energy tax credits passed in the Inflation Reduction Act. We are also taking advantage of opportunities to make forward progress in the current political climate. These opportunities include climate-smart forestry, clean energy deployment, and building electrification.

Independent Veterans of America Action (c4/PAC)

Five days before Veterans Day, and just months after their Independence Day 2024 founding, Independent Veterans of America (IVA) celebrated a historic performance by eleven IVA-endorsed candidates in five states. IVA supported independent veteran candidates at all levels — from local school boards to the US Senate. And we sent shockwaves across the political world by winning an unprecedented 36% of our races.

IVA is the first organization in American history to focus specifically on recruiting, supporting and electing independent and unaffiliated veteran candidates and incumbents. We are a full spectrum education, support, advocacy and election machine with a 501 c4, a 527/PAC and have 501 c3 fiscal sponsorship.

In 2025 we will endorse women in Virginia for Governor, Lt. Governor and Attorney General. Currently there are 44 women running for VA House and we expect to endorse at least 25 of them. Our planned activities includes postcards, making phone calls, texting, canvassing, billboards and radio ads.

Virginia Organizing’s base-building and issue campaigns are integrated with c3 civic engagement and GOTV work. All 18 chapters will do restoration of rights work, making hundreds of calls to returning citizens and identifying people willing to share their stories at press events, in letters to the editor, etc.

Virginia Organizing is a non-partisan statewide grassroots organization dedicated to challenging injustice by empowering people in local communities to address issues that affect the quality of their lives. Virginia Organizing especially encourages the participation of those who have traditionally had little or no voice in our society. By building relationships with individuals and groups throughout the state, Virginia Organizing strives to get them to work together, democratically and non-violently, for change.

YCV staff and volunteers reach voters in the communities where they live and work across the state of NC through high traffic canvassing, clipboarding, tabling at events, group and classroom presentations in high schools and on college campuses, relational organizing, GOTV calls and text messaging, and 1-1 conversations with voters.

You Can Vote (YCV) was founded following Shelby County v. Holder, 133 S. Ct. 2612, the Supreme Court decision rolling back key protections of the Voting Rights Act. Our mission is to train and mobilize volunteers to educate, register, and empower all North Carolina citizens to successfully cast their ballot. Our programs combat discriminatory election laws by building a broader and more engaged electorate across the state of NC. YCV serves populations whose votes have been historically suppressed including people of color, low-income people, people who are currently and formerly incarcerated, people with disabilities, and young people.
