We’re organizing against four harmful state ballot initiatives funded by millionaire Brian Heywood, which threaten Washington’s climate progress. Our field program is focused on educating and turning out young lower propensity voters. We plan to focus heavily on engaging our large and active volunteer base to engage in a structured relational outreach program, door knocking, tabling and replacement ballot printing at college campuses.

Of the four initiatives headed to the November ballot, two would significantly impact climate progress, and make it near impossible to pass future climate legislation – particularly legislation geared towards making polluters pay. I-2117 would repeal the Climate Commitment Act, gutting critical funding for clean air, water, forests and farmland, jobs and transportation. I-2066, Backed by the Building Industry Association of Washington, the Washington Hospitality Association, and Let’s Go Washington (Brian Heywood's outfit), would prevent the phase out of fossil fuels in Washington. , , I-2109 would repeal the Capital Gains Tax, which would take away more than $5 billion from schools, childcare, and early learning programs. And I-2124 would effectively bankrupt the Washington Long-term Care Insurance Program. , , These are important to note because when we talk about climate justice, in addition to bringing down climate pollution, we are also talking about reducing rampant inequality and ensuring that people’s basic needs are met — both I-2109 and I-2124 would gut critical funding that supports the wellbeing of our communities in Washington. , , Our core focus when engaging voters will be to highlight the devastating impacts of these misleading initiatives that in effect allow the fossil fuel industry and utilities to keep polluting; destroying our climate, hurting future generations, and undoing years of climate progress. If they pass, our communities, especially marginalized and frontline communities, will have to pay the price of a climate crisis while the fossil fuel industry continues to rake in billions of dollars each year.
350 Wisconsin is planning a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort to promote voter turnout and highlight the importance of the upcoming election. We will also be conducting GOTV efforts via our c4 sister organization, 350 Wisconsin Action. Our efforts will include sharing nonpartisan candidate information, providing background on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, supplying voter registration information, and offering inclusive opportunities for civic engagement with elected officials and other leaders throughout the year.

Asian Americans United's (AAU) Chinatown Vote Program registers new voters from Asian communities in Philadelphia. AAU assists immigrant and non-English proficient voters with registration and at the polls, conducts doorknocking, voter engagement events, phonebanking, textbanking, advertising on WeChat, and integrates voter registration with other civic campaigns.
Since 1985, Asian Americans United exists so that people of Asian ancestry in Philadelphia exercise leadership to build their communities and unite to challenge oppression. Founded in 2020, ChangeTN assists local and state Progressive candidates run competitive races despite the shortcomings in funding and infrastructure of most rural candidates. Our outreach focuses primarily on the 18-30 year old voting block to build energy for the next generation of Tennessee.

Our top priorities for 2025 are focused on local elections that disproportionately impact immigrant communities through city and county policies. We are specifically looking at the Aurora City Council, which is the origin of rumors that brought hateful rhetoric and then-candidate Trump himself to Aurora. We would also like to build upon our voter engagement efforts in Thornton, Commerce City, and Westminster (CD 08 overlap) from 2021 and 2023. In 2026, our top priority is CD 08 with a focus on engaging voters on the issue of immigration.
In 2024, CIRC Action Fund is planning to lead a nonpartisan and partisan electoral program in Congressional District 8 and Congressional District 3, primarily in Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, El Paso, Jefferson, and Pueblo counties. We will target low-propensity BIPOC voters through door knocking, texts, and mailers.

By organizing events in Clayton County, Fitzgerald, Atlanta, and Macon, Georgia ACT focused on increasing voter registration, educating low-income housing residents and college students about the impact of voting on housing policies. As a result, we registered 107 new voters, provided identification assistance to 11 people, and assisted hundreds others in verifying their voter status, empowering them with knowledge about their rights and the electoral process.
Georgia ACT is currently conducting coordinated voter engagement efforts in Georgia (including voter registration, education, and mobilization). We are doing tabling, social media campaigns, targeted canvassing, email campaigns and rallies. Our target areas are Clayton, DeKalb, Fulton, Bibb and Ben Hill Counties that include traditionally underserved lower propensity areas (i.e. low-income apartment complexes, rural communities, and HBCU campuses).

Priority Issues: Our biggest goal and mission in our electoral work is to help the public elect more candidates who prioritize environmental justice. We do this by endorsing candidates for state and local offices who will champion our two foundational causes—a strong democracy and environmental justice., In pursuit of this mission, GCV is focused on mobilizing a base of community members that matches the demographics of Georgia, which will require an ongoing, intensive effort to engage younger voters (<40), voters of color, and women. , Our goal is to move an audience of environmentally aware people to become active environmental advocates. In other words, we want to see this audience of voters move from being concerned about climate change to becoming more vocally and physically supportive of candidates prioritizing climate and environmental action., Throughout the year, we work to meet these voters where they are and engage them around issues that are most likely to motivate them to vote. In Cobb and Gwinnett specifically, we plan to educate and mobilize working-class communities around access to transit through a comprehensive campaign, including events, door-knocking, phone banking, and digital and paid media. Expanding mass transit is vitally important to working-class communities, as mobility reduces barriers to resources, including employment, educational opportunities, health care, and child care. , Our approach to creative content development is also heavily influenced by this audience. Research points to two main reasons why people don’t vote, especially young people: 1) they don’t feel like their vote matters, and 2) they don’t know enough about the candidates. Another recent study revealed that young voters are tired of being told simply to “vote” and do not implicitly trust Democrats to take action on issues. Voters in every group want to hear what Democrats have already done to make progress on their top issues and what they will continue to do to earn their votes. This sentiment was influential in the young and Black groups, as these voters feel Democrats have come to implicitly rely on their vote without delivering for them. These voters also expressed their desire to see tangible, concrete action steps from elected officials, particularly on the issues of abortion, gun violence, and cost of living., Further, while these voters intend to vote this fall, they are more interested in voting in local elections and express a need to hear more information from candidates beyond just the democratic label before they will support them at the ballot box. The benefit of our program is that we will focus on house districts, explaining to voters why these races matter, what these elected officials can deliver on, and which candidates are better for the environment.
We are working hard to mobilize climate justice-informed voters, specifically younger voters and voters of color, by creating, promoting, and distributing "RENEW the Vote" ads that resonate with target demographics and integrate climate justice messaging via Billboards, Radio, and Digital ads. These ads share key electoral dates, early voter information, and other important voter deadlines.

Priority Issues: GCC has been organizing around voting rights in Cuyahoga County (the second largest county in the state) since 2012. Cuyahoga County has been designated as one of the single most racially segregated regions in the country. This divide exacerbates other deep-rooted problems affecting Cleveland, including historic redlining and systemic voter suppression and repression. Our Battle for Democracy initiative combats these challenges and fights for non-partisan voter engagement by training youth and adults and organizing them to engage their friends, families, and neighbors in our electoral system., , Currently, the U.S. has among the lowest voter turnout rates of all wealthy democracies, with an electoral landscape intentionally structured to discourage full participation of socially vulnerable populations (low-income, communities of color, disabled, youth). This limits their agency and erodes the overall representative viability of our democratic process. This disenfranchisement is exacerbated by voting administrative policies that, intentionally or unintentionally, suppress or depress the participation of vulnerable citizens., , GCC grounds our work by listening deeply to the needs in our community. We learn from the experiences of people living in the neighborhoods where we also live and work, because they are the ones impacted most by the decisions, policies, and systems that we are working together to change. We strategize together about solutions and actions that could actually work in our current context. Then we activate and train everyday people how to unite, organize, and raise their voices for change. Our tested organizing model organizes people, activities, and partners to work toward the goals that we set together. The current priority issues we are focusing our voter engagement work on currently include increasing voter registration and turnout; collecting signatures to end gerrymandering in Ohio; and key local and state races that affect juvenile justice and improve health and wellness through levy renewals., , Our model mobilizes trusted institutions and voices in our communities to build sustained relationships that create hubs of engagement among previously disenfranchised communities. We call these people Neighborhood Captains, and we work together closely to carefully expand our network. Through this work, we have mobilized thousands of new voters every election to effect change locally (e.g., investing in local schools under fierce opposition and to lean into their power as engaged communities)., , Voters are often treated as consumers: presented with a voting menu every two or four years and then ignored between election cycles. Most Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) efforts fail to build lasting engagement in these communities because they focus on easy to mobilize voters already in the system; make little/no connection between local voting administrative policies and low or declining turnout; and do not invest in establishing systems that help communities solve intractable local issues year-round. , , The most sustainable and scalable way to overcome these barriers to healthy democracy is to transform electoral ecosystems in socially vulnerable communities away from transactional systems mired in distrust and barriers, into relational networks that build power and increase local civic engagement and agency. To do this work, we created the Battle for Democracy – a set of strategies that aim to not only minimize voter depression (after decades of neglect) and suppression by creating a network of engaged leaders ready to teach and be taught how we can collectively make an impact in our democracy. , , Battle for Democracy employs a robust strategy, backed by rigorous research conducted by Cal Poly and the Union of Concerned Scientists, to effectively engage hard-to-reach voters and inspire them to become advocates for voter participation. At the heart of our approach is the Neighborhood Captain Program, a proven model where each captain is entrusted with a list of 75 households with low-propensity voters to nurture over a decade. These voters receive a minimum of 5 personalized contacts per election cycle, resulting in a remarkable increase in voter turnout. There is considerable cost to each of these relational contacts, but the return on investment is strong., , In addition to the Neighborhood Captain model, we are also innovating with youth and Latino communities. Our Youth Army initiative, composed of individuals aged 10 to 22, engages voters particularly in subsidized senior buildings. We have seen this work foster intergenerational relationships and dismantle barriers to voting. We are also spearheading efforts to boost voter engagement in predominantly Puerto Rican neighborhoods. Through initiatives like Voting Fiestas, inspired by Puerto Rico's annual elections, we aim to cultivate leadership within the Spanish-speaking community by nurturing individuals to serve as captains., , With a focus on proven methodologies and innovative approaches, Battle for Democracy is driving meaningful change through relationship- and leadership-building that is amplifying the ideas and power of communities that have historically been underrepresented in the democratic process.
Ground Game Texas expands voter engagement through ballot initiatives, grassroots organizing, and policy advocacy, focusing on underrepresented communities. We mobilize young, BIPOC, and working-class Texans through year-round voter education, signature collection, and community-driven campaigns. Our hybrid model combines direct democracy efforts with deep organizing to drive progressive change at the local and state levels. By empowering new and infrequent voters, we are building long-term civic participation and advancing policies that reflect the will of Texans.

Priority Issues: Ground Game uses local issue-based ballot measure campaigns to engage voters. Our most successful issues to date have been economic justice and marijuana reform. We've used marijuana "decriminalization" measures as a way to engage young voters and Black voters in eight cities to date. In Hidalgo County, our 2022 c4 campaigns focused on a "Living Wage" for city workers in two towns; in the November 2022 CD15 election, we emphasized that Michelle Vallejo supports economic justice / fair wages. In 2024, our McAllen ballot measure campaign is focusing on campaign finance reform (anti-corruption, pro-democracy).
We are providing on ramps for our community members to lead in the public arena. We offer leadership trainings such as GrassRoots School, a 2.5 day leadership training program. We also build campaigns around the issues that matter most of us in our communities - having a safe and affordable place to call home, protecting our family farms from the harms of agribusiness.

La Fuerza will educate, engage and get Latine voters to the polls by expanding canvassing efforts, creating and disseminating Spanish-language voter guides to ensure that all Latine voters have access to crucial election information in their language, and by spearheading poll protection initiatives to combat voter intimidation.
La Fuerza NC - founded in 2022, La Fuerza is a 501(c)(4) organization in North Carolina that is building collective power through leadership development and organizing. Priority Issues: Last fall, Montana Conservation Voters launched a new approach to localize our communications about the positive impacts of federal legislation and policies. It involves mail, digital ads, and a follow-up survey canvass focused on conservation policy in the critical geographies of Yellowstone, Gallatin and Flathead Counties. The goal of this work is to build awareness of the positive impacts of key federal investments for Montana’s public lands, waters, and clean energy economy., , We have implemented this community localized communications strategy with assistance from Andrew Maxfield, an experienced polling and communications consultant. MCV and Maxfield have been working together to create a database of local images and messages to show the impact of conservation legislation on-the-ground. By reminding Montanans how national policies affect their local communities, our hope is to engage two psychological levers: personal relevance and place attachment. We also believe that localizing our messaging will generate word of mouth about the issue, helping preserve persuasion effects over time. Put simply, people care about what happens in their hometowns, and they talk about it. , , Our communications are focused on how bills like the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxins (PACT) Act, and the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) have impacted Montana communities with the goal of driving home the positive local impacts of these wins and connecting them to people’s lived experiences., , In-house, our Organizers produce localized mailers and accompanying digital ads educating the public on federal investments for Montanans. They have also hosted local events focused on public lands issues such as Senator Daines’ falsely named Montana Sportsmen Conservation Act and protecting the Smith River as well as defending the Montana Constitution, and educating people about clean energy. , , Our community localized communications will highlight legislation like the PACT Act and what the legislation means for Montana veterans. In advance of the 2024 election, we will tailor localized messaging to reach specific communities around our target geographies such as the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations around Billings and the Flathead Reservation near Kalispell. Our issue-based work will focus on critical federal infrastructure and clean energy investment opportunities while also partnering with Western Native Voice, an Indigenous led advocacy group, to find native social media influencers to help get out issue-based information., , Part of our work will mobilize young people who care about climate change and conservation issues. Young Montanans have already demonstrated leadership around these issues. Recently, a group of young Montanans successfully led a first in the nation lawsuit against the state government (Held v. Montana), alleging that the state's support of fossil fuels violates Montanans’ constitutional right to a "clean and healthful environment. Montana Conservation Voters is expanding grassroots advocacy by growing our Field Team, strengthening the Super Volunteer Program, and deepening engagement through outreach and digital advocacy. We drive turnout for key events, promote conservation policies, and mobilize supporters. Collaborating with legislative leaders, we protect public lands funding and advance conservation priorities. Weekly updates and petitions keep Montanans informed and empowered to act. These efforts build a stronger, more engaged conservation movement for 2025 and beyond.
MCV has a state PAC and recently launched a new federal PAC to directly link Senator Tester’s leadership, conservation policies and their impacts on-the-ground. We will deploy campaign tactics such as direct mail, door-to-door canvassing, digital advertising and opinion pieces to help deliver a win for conservation candidates in 2024.

We will run a canvass with a relational text overlay in vote-dense Mecklenburg County targeting persuadable swing voters. We will also work to gain a veto-proof minority in the state House by winning four of ten competitive House seats with paid media/mail.
The North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV) is a pragmatic, results-oriented, non-partisan organization whose mission is to protect the health and quality of life for all North Carolinians, with an intentional focus on systematically excluded communities of color. We elect environmental champions, advocate for environmental policies that protect our communities, and hold elected leaders accountable for their decisions. NCLCVF programs, PowerUp, Power the Vote, and Power Boards & Commissions, operate at the intersection of environment, economics, racial and economic justice. New Virginia Majority (NVM) builds power on our path for racial and social justice through year-round community organizing and voter mobilization in communities of color--communities that drive social justice reforms in Virginia. We work to create a powerful multi-issue, multi-racial movement to transform Virginia through large scale civic engagement, issue advocacy, and strategic communications and community organizing.
In 2025, 2026, and beyond, Next in Line Community Outreach Center will strengthen voter engagement through education, registration drives, and mobilization efforts. We will advocate for fair voting policies, and equip individuals with resources to make informed choices. Through events, policy forums, and leadership development programs, we will amplify community voices and influence policies that impact underrepresented populations. Our commitment ensures sustained civic participation and meaningful social change.

In the wake of SB 1070, four immigrant rights organizations came together with the goal of registering 12,000 Latino voters. Shortly afterwards, One Arizona was born. More than a decade later, One Arizona is made up of 30 organizations active all over Arizona. We are completely nonpartisan, focused on improving the lives of Arizonans, especially people of color and young people, by building a culture of civic participation.
In 2025 and beyond, we will mobilize communities to oppose anti-trans ballot measures and bolster LGBTQ+ rights by launching public education campaigns that highlight the human cost of transphobia and shift public opinion through real stories from transgender Coloradans. Troy’s Precinct Delegate Committee continues to refine our voter outreach program, reaching our voters with Dem scores of 40% and higher through creative messaging and literature designs. We knock doors, text, send postcards, and phone our voters, aiming to increase voter turnout through education on voting laws and options.
The Precinct Delegate Committee is part of the Troy Democratic Club in Troy, Michigan. The Committee recruits, trains, and organizes official Precinct Delegates and volunteers to inform and educate our voters. We focus on turning out all voters, making sure our residents know their options on where to vote, absentee ballots, and early voting availability (especially important now to ease any confusion over newly implemented state voting laws), and important issues on upcoming ballots. Post-primary, we also create and provide detailed slate cards for voters on candidates up and down ballot and issues supported by our parent Democratic Club, as well as do absentee ballot chasing. However, there are still barriers for young people to realize their full political power. We are building voting systems that work for all of us. Education Equity and Cost-Free College: Every person, regardless of race, income, or immigration status deserves a high quality education. However, right now most students’ basic needs are not being met and higher education is inaccessible. By investing in our education systems we are investing in all students by ensuring needed housing, food, materials, counseling services to achieve their educational aspirations. By actively listening to the concerns and passions of young voters, we're not only building a stronger, more inclusive democracy but also fostering a sense of agency and leadership within our youth constituents. We are having a countywide social to meet voters and inviting statewide candidates to meet our voters!

WashingtonCAN's 2024 program will educate, engage, and turn out voters by having conversations with 12,500 individuals by knocking on 70,000 doors. We target low to moderate propensity voters within the New American Majority through door-to-door canvassing, mailers, and text messaging, leveraging community volunteers and data-driven tactics.

Priority Issues: As a multi-issue organization, we focus on multiple issues. Democracy reform, mass liberation (ending mass incarceration), housing, universal healthcare, minimum wage, and more. For this particular GOTV cycle, we will be focussing on how important it is for voters to vote NO on the 3 statewide initiatives in Washington.
We will engage Orange County youth and young adults in voter registration and GOTV efforts. Working with students, we will run voter registration drives in high schools and community colleges and organize VR and GOTV events with community partners, hosting events like ballot parties and listening sessions.

Down Home is all about building power for working-class communities in North Carolina. We focus on deep organizing, real conversations, and grassroots action to create lasting change. By centering rural and small-town voices, we fight for economic justice, racial equity, and policies that actually support everyday people. Whether it's elections, policy advocacy, or movement-building, our goal is to make sure all North Carolinians - no matter their background - have a real say in shaping their future.
In 2025, we're focused on deepening our base, expanding our reach, and strengthening our foundation. Through the Year of the Member Project, we're investing in our people - developing leaders, building ownership, and making sure members drive our work. The Beyond the Choir Project will bring in new voices, connecting with those who share our values but haven't engaged yet. And to sustain it all, we're strengthening our internal systems - ensuring financial stability, better development tracking, and real accountability. With clear goals, strong support, and the right systems in place, we're building lasting power for working-class communities across North Carolina.
Down Home will engage the multiracial working class over an18-county area larger than the state of New Jersey via an integrated voter contact program including more than 500,000 door attempts. Our program is best-in-class and covers the lowest density, highest opportunity rural turf home to 20% of the state’s population.
Down Home North Carolina (DHNC) is a project to build a multiracial statewide organization of rural and small town communities that advocate for economic, gender, and racial justice. We will move North Carolina toward the values of dignity, safety, and inclusion through leadership development, strategic campaigning, multiracial movement building, and civic engagement to advance real reforms for rural communities.
This election cycle, I want to target residents in two low turnout Canton (OH-13) precincts by registering voters, hopefully knocking on doors during GOTV and mailing letters similar to Vote Forward's encouraging infrequent voters to vote. We'll try to get voters to commit to a voting day and send reminders to them as their voting day approaches.
We Make Ohio is an organization that will highlight how everyday Ohioans are the heroes of our state and federal government, not politicians or the corporations that fund them. Everyday Ohioans are going to demand the funding we need to make our state and our communities whole and deliver on the policies we want to see in our government.

Through Wild Montana Action Fund, our 501(c)(4), we will ensure that public land voters turn out in large numbers to elect public land champions up and down the ticket, from state legislators to Supreme Court to the Senate.
We will engage public land supporters from across the political spectrum by talking to them on the doors, at events, through pledge postcards and mailers, and via text and email to ensure that they vote and that they know which candidates share their public land values.
Wild Montana Action Fund builds the political power necessary for protecting and conserving public lands and wild places across the state by elevating the voices of Montanans who cherish our outdoor way of life.

WMCF 2024 election programming aims to maximize voter engagement and turnout through a multifaceted approach. Priority Issues: Wisconsin Voices and its partners will be implementing voter registration campaigns in 2024 work on a range of issues, from Climate Equity, Health Equity, Mass Incarceration, Freedom to Vote, lack of equitable resources in BIPOC communities such as housing, education, jobs, public transportation, etc.
Worker Power will once again run the largest independent expenditure field campaign in Arizona. We will hire over 500 canvassers who will knock on 1,200,000 doors to deliver the White House, secure our U.S. Senate seat, and flip Congressional Districts 1 and 6.

Priority Issues: When collecting voter registrations, we focus on the following issues: Access to the ballot - in Arizona, we have to have specific identifications in order to register to vote with a third-party organization. Worker Power partners with Vote Rider to ensure applicants have proper access to identifications needed to vote. When we encounter a potential voter without correct IDs, we pass their information on to Vote Riders who help them to get Birth Certificates, State IDs, and Social Security Cards. We then follow up with those potential applicants after they have received the needed Identification to Register. Complete card collections - By focusing on complete card collection, and training staff on the legal and programmatic requirements for third party voter registration in Arizona, we ensure that all applications collected will lead to voters being able and eligible to vote in upcoming elections. We focus on building a relationship with the voter at the start, so when we approach them later the conversation has a strong foundation. We focus on enrolling applicants in the State of Arizona’s Active Early Voter List (AEVL). AEVL allows a voter to sign up for a mail ballot to automatically be mailed to them for every election they are eligible to vote in. Focusing on AEVL’s allows us to engage more voters in subsequent years and thus increase a total of completed VR’s.
With an anticipated long ballot in 2024, CO-WFP will once again distribute a ballot guide aimed at young voters and BIPOC voters. This "cheat sheet" will reduce ballot fatigue & confusion by providing clear information about ballot measures (per AI findings and anecdotal feedback that guides are effective GOTV tools).

By precipitating disaster on multiple fronts, the forces of organized capital limit our ability to marshall government in response to another, more fundamental, crisis—a crisis in democracy., , Meanwhile, white supremacist forces have been taking advantage of growing insecurity and ramping up their rhetoric of hate to harness fear for political gain. They have invested deeply in popular education and aggressive training. Turning Point USA, Proud Boys, and Blexit—they have developed infrastructure to recruit people into their ideological home. We got a taste of their power in another historic American tragedy during the January 6th insurrection at the US Capitol. Dog whistle appeals to bigotry continue to prevent natural alliances between working families of all races, religions, and backgrounds., , We must outperform the forces of greed and authoritarianism and build infrastructure to demand a multiracial democracy that matches and surpasses their formidable power., , Everyday life and stability for working women and families, and especially people of color in those categories, are more precarious today than they have been in generations. Student debt is sky-high, wages are suppressed as profits surge, the tax structure is an abject scam for the wealthy, pro-worker legal/political institutions face erosion, and healthcare is increasingly inaccessible and unaffordable—run for profit rather than for care. Intersecting crises overwhelm and divide people along lines of race, class, gender, and more. Working class, feminist, and racial justice movements are treated as unreasonable for seeking human rights that already commonly exist abroad. But when corporations face risk, the US government knows no limits propping up their owners. The pandemic and economic crisis have worsened these realities, leaving those most vulnerable with less. Getting through this moment is one thing. Building for resiliency beyond it is another. , , Resiliency will in part come from making immediate material changes in working people’s lives, but that alone isn’t enough. Each year, the rules and realities of our democratic institutions skew more and more toward representing land over people, older rural whites over people of color and young people in cities, and capital over constituent needs. We must strive toward the dream of a genuine multiracial democracy that reflects the desires and needs of our communities. You Can Vote (YCV) was founded following Shelby County v. Holder, 133 S. Ct. 2612, the Supreme Court decision rolling back key protections of the Voting Rights Act. Our mission is to train and mobilize volunteers to educate, register, and empower all North Carolina citizens to successfully cast their ballot. Our programs combat discriminatory election laws by building a broader and more engaged electorate across the state of NC. YCV serves populations whose votes have been historically suppressed including people of color, low-income people, people who are currently and formerly incarcerated, people with disabilities, and young people.

Priority Issues: YCV occupies a unique position in the NC voting rights landscape as a strictly nonpartisan organization that focuses exclusively on voters. We are a campaign without a candidate and we do not take stances or advocate for specific issues aside from voting rights. YCV’s nonpartisan approach combined with the quality and consistency of voter services allows us to partner with and gain access to spaces that are not available to partisan organizations, such as schools and detention facilities. Our programs focus on voting mechanics & civic education: what's on the ballot, when to vote, where to vote, levels of government and connecting issues that matter to voters with the offices that influence them.
Registering young Nevadans to vote by holding voter registration drives on high school and college campuses, hosting forums and events in areas with historically low turnout, doors, phones and training volunteers.

Priority Issues: As a charter of the Young Democrats of America, our primary focus in voter registration is to gather registrations from individuals aged 17 to 35, particularly on high school and college campuses. We emphasize not including any issues when encouraging individuals to register. Some school campuses, specifically high schools, may be more reserved in permitting partisan organizations to conduct voter registration drives. Therefore, we strive to ensure we are allowed on all campuses.
Young Democrats of Washington creates a space for young people to invigorate the Democratic party, grow lifelong friendships, empower young people to run for office, and campaign for candidates we can count on to make positive change.
YDWA has above all one goal: to get people under 36 involved in the Democratic Party. We accomplish this through voter registration, encouraging voting, organizing and bringing young people to the Democratic Party. We hope to provide a strong basis for the party’s future.
