Mission: Utah Clean Energy leads and accelerates the clean energy transformation with vision and expertise. We accelerate decarbonization of the utility grid, built environment, and transportation through regulatory intervention, policy advocacy, community programs. We nurture and empower climate leadership from diverse business sectors, faith leaders, community leaders, and elected representatives in a conservative state.

In 2025, we continue our work to deliver significant GHG reductions while depoliticizing climate action within a conservative state. Programing in our four priority areas: Climate Leadership - reactivate and reengage our 200 member climate and clean air compact leaders. Building Decarbonization – influence Governor’s housing plan, work with municipalities and housing agencies, support state implementation of $100M home energy rebate program. Electrified transportation – work with fleet operators to provide tools and resources for electrification. Grid decarbonization – drive clean energy development through utility regulatory intervention and Governor’s Operation Gigawatt, support Solar4All, and advocacy and education on federal incentives.
