Sub-State CaPA Priority Geographies Engaged: LIFTT (Living Independently for Today and Tomorrow) is a Montana 501(c)(3) corporation operating as a Center for Independent Living (CIL) with offices in Billings and Glendive. In 2024, LIFTT provided services to individuals with disabilities across 18 counties in South and Central Eastern Montana: Big Horn, Carbon, Carter, Custer, Dawson, Fallon, Garfield, Golden Valley, McCone, Musselshell, Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Rosebud, Stillwater, Treasure, Wibaux, and Yellowstone. These counties are situated within Montana's two congressional districts: Montana's 1st Congressional District (MT-01): This district encompasses the western part of the state. Montana's 2nd Congressional District (MT-02): This district covers the eastern region, including the areas served by LIFTT. Therefore, LIFTT's efforts in 2024 engaged the boundaries of Montana’s congressional districts as defined by the current district map. Based on our service areas and the sub-state geographies listed on the CaPA website, LIFTT’s efforts in 2024 engaged the following congressional districts: MT-01 and MT-02.
